Stopped for lunch traveling to NOLA. Friendly staff & our server was attentive. Our salads that were allowed to be selected as one of the sides with our meal were very fresh, & we were surprised with the large serving. We enjoyed our meal as well. Oh, the parking lot has lots of nice trees, which makes it kinda tricky to find, & it was nice to be able to park in the shade.

I love Cracker Barrel ‘s breakfast. It’s the only thing I go there for. However when my family and I stopped at this location… lets just say my family will not be going back for a while. The service was excellent. We were seated within 10 – 15 min upon arrival and the food was out very quick! However as soon as we walked out the doors of the restaurant my youngest child vomited nothing but eggs. I didn’t think much of it. We left and got in the highway for more traveling to our destination. My other kids stomach began cramping & hurting(rumbling) my mothers and then mine. I was sweaty and pale looking by the time we were home. I tried to drink water and violently vomited. Then diarrhea. Same with other members of my family. I phoned the location & waited 5 min for a manager to get on the phone only to tell me.“thanks for letting us know but no one else has reported anything.” awkward silence then ok, bye. That made me angry. The next day I did the review online from the receipt… left my number & described my experience… no call or email. So then I called corporate, told the customer service agent who cut me off mid sentence so I wouldn’t have to repeat myself & transferred me to risk management. no answer. I left a voicemail & as of today(5 days later) have yet to get a return call. Thumbs down Cracker Barrel!

Great food and amazing service! Daniel did an excellent job serving 11 adults and 3 kids. Very busy for Memorial Day but food came out fast. I need to come back on Sunday for the fried chicken.

Cracker Barrel is a chain restaurant. They are a little different everywhere, the store at I10 and US27 in Tallahassee is clean and the staff is friendly. The food was very good and the service was very fast. Marques was our server and recommended the campfire beef, which was excellent. Also, never let the iced tea glass get empty. Well done.

We eat at a lot of Cracker Barrels because of our business. We can usually count on the food tasting the same and being the same at each. We have found an exception. First, the service was adequate. But the food was not. The hash browns and eggs looked and tasted as if they had been sitting around for hours. The biscuits had a bitter taste, and the breakfast meat was greasy. The grits were they only part of the meal that looked and tasted«normal». I usually do not post negative reviews, but there were just too many things not right this morning.

Cracker Barrel has gone above, and beyond, the call of duty to make my experience memorable! They have recently started carrying a drink made in my hometown, and the clerk, Ruthie, went out of her way to pack up a case for me and make sure she keeps it on order for me. This is great for an old Kentucky boy who misses his favorite local soda! Thanks Ruthie!

My first Cracker Barrel experience ever was at this very Cracker Barrel, back in 1991. In the past 25 years, I’ll wager I’ve eaten at over 50 Cracker Barrels from Naples, FL all the way up to South Portland, ME. What I love about the store very likely is what many people do. The Country Store schtick. Who doesn’t enjoy Uncle Herschel’s Favorite — or the Old Timer’s Breakfast? Who can pass up on Thursday’s Turkey n’ Dressin’ or Monday’s Po’ Chops? We needn’t go on and on here. I think we can all agree that the Cracker Barrel is harmless — even a positive influence on our psyche. This store, in particular, is always packed. But, seriously, every single one of them is always packed. You see, this is normally found at busy Interstate exits. It’s a no-brainer. Let’s talk about the peg game for a moment. You all DO understand how to leave only one peg, right? Permit me to share: (I’m sure there are many ways, but here’s mine) 1. First off, let’s number the holes. Imagine the pyramid, so the top hole is 1, 2nd row is 2 and 3, 3rd row is 4,5 and 6 and so on, until the last row ends with hole #15. 2. Leave #1 empty. 3. OK, here goes. 4 jumps to 1, 6 to 4, 1 to 6. (with me?) 4. 7 to 2, 13 to 4, 2 to 7. (ok?) 5. Now… 10 to 8, then 7 to 9, and then 15 to 13 and 12 to 14. here’s the finale. Get up and stretch if needed… 6. 6 to 13, 14 to 12 and 11 to 13. Cha-Ching! Anyway — this Cracker Barrel is really good. Just like all the other’s I’ve been to.

My sister and I like to stop at specific chain restaurants whenever we do road trips because we’re nerds and like to compare and contrast, this time we were hitting cracker barrels. This was by far the busiest one we went to, and still far and above the best one. Our wonderful server Emily, despite how busy she was, was super quick and incredibly friendly. The pancakes were amazing as well, and every staff member greeted us when we passed. It was a great experience!

Only went because it was the dinner meeting location. The biscuits were warm and melt in your mouth. Waiter was nice. My Rueben sandwich was slathered with cheese, was messy, and the meat was dry. This is not and has never been one of my favorites. This visit reminds me why I don’t go to any Cracker Barrel.

Guys, it’s Cracker Barrel! Why the lack of love? Consistencies you will ALWAYS find here at the Barrel: 1. Friendly Faces(depending on how many stars are awarded on their aprons, will determine how large their smiles are) 2. Comforting/Filling Eats(it’s no secret that you’ll have to unbuckle those pants afterwards) 3. Down-Home Atmosphere(the general store, the rocking chairs, c’mon!) And I must say, the food options are pretty good. Over the years, they’ve created a healthi(er) menu, so you don’t always need to feel über-bloated. As for breakfast, the biscuits are baked perfectly. The coffee comes a’flowin’. The meats are generously salty or sweet. If the gravy was a little more consistent I would award four stars. Keep doing what you do, Cracker Barrel, because every town needs a place like yours!

My wife and I went here for breakfast this week and it was about 10:00am. The waitress was very nice, the ambiance had that old time country feel and the place was not that full for a change as it is the only Cracker Barrel in Tallahassee. We both ordered the ol’e timers breakfast and our drinks were promptly brought out to us. However, when the food came out my wife’s plate was the wrong plate completely. My plate came out like I asked and then the bad news, The waitress said that the had completely run out of the sausage pepper gravy for the biscuits.(How does this happen at 10:00 am and the place is not busy at all?) The waitress did her best to try to substitute something for the lack of the gravy. My wife took advantage and requested more grits. I asked if there would be any more gravy made and the waitress went back to check. She cam back and said about 3 minutes and there would be more. She brought out the gravy(yippee) NOT, it was watered down like they had scraped the bottom of the pot. It had the consistency of sausage soup. The waitress as I said did her best at trying to rectify the problem but the kitchen let us down on this visit. The waitress receives 4 stars from me but the kitchen receives 2 stars so my overall is a 3 for this establishment.

Rhonda. Wow, I feel like the Grinch stole her Spirit. I’ve never come across somebody who obviously didn’t like their job/someone who didn’t want to be there. She was extremely rude and short with my girlfriend over her order and extremely pretentious with my step-father. The food was good but the service was awful. We expect more from Cracker Barrel.

Yesterday night was my first time ever eating at Crackle Barrel. I ordered mashed potatoes with gravy, Mac and cheese and beef pot roast. My server was nice and paid attention to everyone even though we didn’t order until 10 minutes before closing. My food was okay. Not the best I ever had, but decent enough for me to finish it all.

Tried to call to place a to go order and the phone kept ringing for 5 mins. I hung up and called back and the same thing happened. Called back once again to speak to a manager about the problem of no one answering the phone so I could place a to go order and was on hold for another 5 mins. By this time I had arrived at the restaurant and I was still waiting to speak to a manager. I went in to place an order and I was directed to wait on a server to take my to go order. They called for a server to take my order 3 times before someone finally came to take my order. I also asked to speak to the manager and once he finally came out to speak to me I told him about my issue and he said he was sorry in a very nonchalant tone. He said sorry 3 – 4 times in the same nonchalant tone. I told him this was unacceptable and that I planned to send a formal complaint to corporate. When the order came out it wasn’t right(the server didn’t ask what kind of meat I wanted and I failed to mention the kind of meat I wanted due to my frustration) but every other time I place this order they ask what kind of meat I want.

The only thing that gives the restaurant a 2 stars is the adequate services. The hamburger steak was greasy, the greens over cooked, and the hashbrown casserole tasted like yesterdays fare. Compared to another recently visited Cracker Barrel, this one needs better quality food and a new cook.

It is still good for what it is: A meat and 2 or 3 with a gift shop to browse if you have to wait to be seated. I can always count on them for a good meal. And breakfast is good too!

First time at the Cracker Barrel! First time in Tallahassee! I had the chicken and dumplings ummmm good. I also had a side order of green and lost count on corn breads. We had biscuits too but stuck with the cornbread and the way my friend was downing the biscuits I will guess they’re quite good too! The waitress very nice and made sure our drinks were filled and breads by the bundle was out. Don’t forget to check out the store great little candy place I saw candy from late 50’s to early 90’s that are hard to find sometimes a blast from the past. Thanks for a great meal and friendly staff

Traveling through from out of town and wanted to stop in for breakfast. The service was good and that is the only reason why I’m giving this location 2 stars… for the food I would only give it 1 stars. It’s the worse food from any Cracker Barrel location I have been to. The breakfast was bland and not hot when it was brought out to us. Location was convenient off the highway so it was easy to get to, and get back on the road quick. If I was traveling through again I wouldn’t stop back in since the food was sub-par.

Okay, where to begin. Our server was awesome and our food was good. Andy, this review is by no means a reflection on your service! You were super friendly and our food was brought out in a timely fashion. Here is my issue with this restaurant. While waiting for our food, a new waiter dropped some dishes on the floor. It was loud and it made a mess, but he played it off well. No big deal. His name was Dallas. I wouldn’t have known his name except a waitress came over and yelled at him and I quote, «Dallas, I’m going to need you to keep it together!» Um. Wait? Did that just happen in front of customers? It was an ACCIDENT. I was hoping maybe she was kidding, but she didn’t even break a smile and looked pissed at the world. I felt so bad for the new«rising star» waiter. He looked embarrassed and honestly he shouldn’t be. The«two star» waitress named Hannah should be. Talk about RUDE and unprofessional. A restaurant is about good teamwork and building each other up. She tore him a new one in front of customers. Dallas, nice job playing it off and keep working hard. Hannah. Find a new job. It’s pretty clear, with your stellar personality, that anything customer service oriented isn’t for you.

With a crowded waiting area we were seated very quickly. Staff is nice and very professional. Restrooms are clean and well stocked. It doesn’t get a five star because there was no fire going. That’s something I look forward too. The meal was served hot and extremely quick!

Biggest problem with this location is the management, or lack thereof. Food is consistent with other locations, but I don’t think I’ve ever had a good service experience. Getting food to go is beyond frustrating… no communication between cashiers & servers & customers are left stuck in between. Other locations have seemed to figure out a system; I don’t know why this one can’t.

This is your typical Cracker Barrel but it seems to be one if the hardest to find. The small sign off the main road is often missed. I’ve been there a couple times and still have a hard time finding the correct turn. I actually had a gentlemen come into my restaurant askin me for directions to this location… I hope he made it.

Stopped in here with a crowd of post-regional race high school runners and their families — a large crowd, and we were met with smiles and very efficient seating. Service was wonderful, food delicious, and our experience was so much better than past experiences at Cracker Barrel restaurants! We had discontinued eating at CB’s on our road trips because they seemed to be losing quality… not this one! Very respectful and professional servers who were well-groomed(I don’t care to see food all over you, no matter your shift), friendly, patient and helpful. Kudos to you!

Cracker Barrels are never that good, tolerable at best but this one is very poor. I waited over 30 minutes at my table to be served and had a pounding headache by the time my server arrived. When I asked if it were possible to get an aspirin the Manager ran to my table and started yelling at ME! The food quality as always with any chain restaurant is a step above fast food but not very far. The service and attitude at this restaurant was the worse that I have encountered in a very long time. Unless you are dying of hunger you would do well to skip it.
