We stayed here last night when taking our daughter to FSU. Room layout is nice but was disgustingly dirty. Bathroom floor had what appeared to be pubic hair in multiple locations, stains, etc. was truly pretty gross. Could be a nice place to stay if clean.

Stayed 4 days in a double queen room. We are Hilton honors gold members and travel a lot. This hotel is new, modern and very accommodating. The rooms are comfortable and spacious and includes a sofa bed with a curtain partition for privacy. The room has a full refrigerator with freezer, microwave, sink and you can check out a cooktop with a skillet for free. The storage space in this room is unbelievable and they have black out shades on the window for a restful night sleep. The beds are comfy and the water pressure in the shower is great. The continental breakfast with the waffles are delish. This hotel is in the best location, there’s a Starbucks in the same parking lot as well as several chain restaurants. The cherry is, there’s a McDonald’s next door and Krispy Kreme across the street. You can walk to all of these places for sweets and goodies and burn the calories in the walk back. The staff is remarkable, Destiny and Whitney were always smiling and very helpful at the front desk and housekeeping was always cleaning.

I said to the wife«If IKEA made a hotel, this would be the result, everything just makes sense.» Of course she was ignoring me, but I managed to amuse myself with that one. This hotel was a pleasant surprise. Probably the greatest value in lodging ever. I knew this was a new hotel and that it would be clean, but they managed to surpass those expectations somehow. The free breakfast was awesome, great selection, and terrific coffee. The staff were very friendly with warm smiles and an eagerness to help with anything. I saw the manager picking up old coffee cups and plates that some lazy people left on one of the tables, then proceeded to do other little jobs around the breakfast area. That speaks volumes for the managers work ethic. Love to see that. We are huge fans of this hotel chain now.

Bottom line: Those of us living in town that have out-of-town friends and family visiting need to seriously consider this place. VERYNICE. I went today because my aunt/uncle are coming in town this week and I wanted to check out accommodations for them. I learned afterwards that since they didn’t know about this hotel, they made accommodations somewhere else in town(I don’t have space for them, and frankly, they like their independence during visits). Wife and I parked under the portico. First thing I noticed was a very cool seating area at the front between the entries. Fire pit /modern furnishings. I went to the front desk and a VERY cheerful and attentive agent welcomed me. I asked if I could check out a room and she said that wouldn’t be a problem. The manager came and introduced himself. I explained that we often had friends and family visit from out of town, and this could be an ideal location provided the amenities were«in line». They are«in line»! He took me up to their basic two-Queen(not full/double — Queen) room. Truthfully, I wasn’t expecting a whole lot(see my most recent hotel review…). I was truly impressed. Because I was looking for something for friends and family, I asked him if I could video and he said that would be fine. Check the videos out, if you have time. 1. Kitchenettes stocked for 6 people. Everything you’d expect in a studio apartment kitchen. 2. Again, these are Queens. A lot of times, rooms set you up with doubles or fulls. 3. privacy curtain between sitting area(sofa/coffee table /40″) and beds. 4. The bathroom was nicely laid out. 5. Plenty of counter-space and seating throughout the room. work-surface, but also surfaces where I always end up putting camera bags, and general«stuff» from the trip. The back-side pool/entertainment deck is very cool. Having seen this property develop from when the nine-acres of trees were cleared, I always wondered what this back corner was going to be(closest to the FL Lottery building). It’s a beautiful pool and barbecue deck with what looks like a couple of weber six-burners embedded in a grilling deck towards the back. (an aside — a utility door was open and I spied several rows of what appeared to be commercial grade rinnai hot water heaters. That alone is GREAT news for guest — and means virtually ZERO wait for hot water. Nice…) The central lobby appears to have a dinette, but I wasn’t sure. I imagine it’s open for a comprehensive breakfast layout. Particularly cool is the«Spin2Cycle» area, combining modern front-loader washers/dryers with a well supplied exercise area(medicine balls, free weights, aerobic equipment, treadmills, cycles and plenty of screens. I learned this is the 70th such Homes2Suites opened in the U.S. This is a great addition to TLH’s rooming landscape. If you’re coming here via third-party(Hotwire, Expedia, etc…) — you’re going to be pleased. If you purposely chose this location up-front, then you’re already in the know.
