It’s a nice store with good customer service. I like stopping in here for housewares, shampoo, etc. I found Bayliss hair dryers for $ 24! They generally have nice salon brands of hair & skincare products. They even have Body Shop(we don’t have a Body Shop in Tallahassee anymore, so it’s a nice treat). I pop in on occasion, it’s my 2nd choice to Homegoods, but I’m often surprised with the treasures I find.

I like shopping in most Marshalls. But when it’s closing time and it’s right on the dot, why come up to people and tell them the store is closed to their face and ask them to leave. At exactly 9:30 before they can even mk their way to the front. It’s so totally rude and it happens at every one. It shouldn’t be a policy to harass customers that are keeping your doors open by buying your items, just bc your itching to get off your work shift. How about giving ppl five or ten minutes before rushing them to leave? I get there are stragglers, I’ve worked retail. Never felt so uncomfortable around closing time in a store as I do in Marshall’s. Not to mention, at 9:30 your shutting down and kicking ppl out, yet online it reads your open till 10 pm. Should prob fix both issues if you want a better review. Thx

I agree with other Unilocalers; this store is always hit or miss. It gets very picked over and disorganized at times, and the aisles(especially in the home section) are super tiny. I rarely find any clothes that I like here — juniors section is too young, and misses is too old. However, the shoe section is usually pretty solid, and that’s what brings me here most of the time. The checkout line is always very long, so bring your patience with you(I don’t think they sell it yet).

Marshalls is more like TJ Maxx’s little sister that didn’t do so well in school. The selection varies by season, but generally I don’t find what I’m looking for. The juniors department has been revamped and has even less choices than it did before, but at least it’s organized. The purse selection used to include Dooney & Bourke and Coach, but now I rarely ever see them. They do carry a wide variety of shoes, but the prices are about the same as department stores. It does tend to stay messy and the clothing racks are close together, so you have to move out of the aisle for someone with a shopping cart to go through. I hate the way they herd you like cattle in the checkout line, which is very slow and inefficient. I still continute to go here, in a hopes of one day finding that perfect dress or gift for my nieces… but I’m better off going to the mall.

This store has always been hit or miss for me. They have good prices if you can find what you might be looking for. This particular location was messy and disorganized. It was hard to move around through the aisles as stuff was laying on the floors, thrown around items on shelves. We had specifically went in to look for kitchen items and when we got to the section there was nothing to choose from. Literally they had like five frying pans and no selection of bowls etc… We did find a throw carpet, bought it and left as we had to go to another store with a better selection. The cashier was friendly. Maybe just the wrong day to check them out but the store could be cleaner and more organized.
