Walmart Supercenter

I like going to Walmart for the cheaper prices and the fact that some of their generic brands are just as good as the name brands. With that being said, any other time I try to avoid this place.
The customer service can be hit or miss depending on who’s working. Some of the workers have been just plain rude. Parking can be hectic on the weekends along with them having enough registers open when it’s very crowded.
I came here two weeks ago to buy my favorite face moisturizer. I noticed, during checkout, that the expiration date had ⁸⁄₂₀₁₄ on it and alerted them immediately that they needed to remove that product from their shelves. I was shocked they had something so expired still sitting on their shelves, and not just one, but it was every single bottle of that brand! So please check your expiration dates on products that you buy, especially from here.

This Walmart is different from others around town. It’s location right outside of Tallahassee and is very spacious. It helps that it is one of the newer Walmart in town. This combination allows for high visibility of all products, smooth passage through the store and shorter lines.

No one here gives a crap about their job. There was a long line of people waiting to order while the staff chit chatted. They also mopped the floor with a mass of people waiting in line making it unsafe to walk in the restaurant. Stay away!!!

It is one of the better Wal-​Marts in the area, but I still do not understand why there is a myriad of check out stations with only 2 or 3 open. This seems to come standard at all Wal-​Marts. The staff is hit or miss. Sometimes I get a friendly, helpful person; sometimes it’s impossible to find anyone who works there; sometimes they stare at me with a blank expression, which almost convinces me that they are nothing more than a program in the Matrix. I go here only when I have no other choice, and I never get groceries here. I save my grocery shopping for Publix. :-)

My experience at this Walmart has reaffirmed my belief in service people. Everyone was helpful and ready to aid in the midst of the frenzy. The workers were quick and efficient!

The actual store is nice, but I rarely encounter a friendly employee. Usually during check out, the cashiers are too busy talking to the other cashiers to even greet me, and most of the ones that do say hello can’t seem to muster up a smile! I have had a couple times that went well, but overall, the staff doesn’t seem to appreciate having a JOB!

As far as Walmarts go, this is one of the nicer ones. It has a fairly new and yet fairly useless liquor store — if you want lukewarm beer it’s great, otherwise opt for the back of the store. This Walmart has typical Walmart selection and groceries, not the nicest produce or meat but probably the cheapest. It’s open 24/​7, which is great for this side of town.
