The food here is of very low quality and is unacceptable. The only reason I come here because its closer. This store really has some quality control issues and somebody needs to address them.

Fresh sometimes means previously frozen.. . Although Winn-Dixie often offers buy-one-get-one sales and low prices on meat, they use false advertising to deceive their customers. In their meat section, they have little signs displayed to lure you into thinking you’re buying FRESHPORK. What is the definition of fresh? In my opinion, fresh means not frozen. Never frozen. According to Winn-Dixie, however, fresh occasionally means previously frozen. So I went to buy some pork spareribs. The display case was empty, but the butcher agreed to cut a slab of ribs for me. Nice, I thought. Very nice(Borat voice). Then the butcher took a vacuum-sealed package of previously frozen ribs from the lower section, which was clearly NOT marked FRESHPORK, and he lugged that package to the back. At the front of the store, I asked the store manager to define«fresh.» He looked completely flummoxed by what I thought was a pretty straightforward question. So I explained the situation. «Does fresh ever mean previously frozen?» I said. Now I had drawn a crowd. I’m sure people had begun to think I was a shoplifter. One woman hurried her two children toward the exit. «Well,» the manager said, «when it comes to the ribs, yes. Fresh means previously frozen.» So why are there two different sections, one clearly labeled FRESH and the other not labeled at all, when they are both the same product? Why does one cost more than the other?
