This is a pretty good Beef ‘o’ Brady’s. Standard Beefs fare, nothing I’ve tried has been disappointing. The atmosphere is pretty cozy, with memorabilia covering the walls. They have good happy hour specials. They had several nights where they did free beer with a Lightning score, or with the Rays’ first home run. They also have trivia on Wednesdays, which is a lot of fun! Very entertaining and they have great prizes.

Okay We keep giving this place a chance but it keeps disappointing us. Still smells like old keg beer, floors sticky and none of the video games work. I ordered the Waterson Sandwich which is suppose to be on a Grilled Rye. When it finally arrived it was on a lightly toasted cold tasteless bread. Very Bland. Never again!!!

My very first time at beefs! As a vegetarian, the name always scared me away but the menu offers a fair amount of meatless options, such as salads, onion rings, jalapeño corn fritters, grilled veggie bowl, pizza etc. the bartenders are so nice here and do a great job of working around the bar. I wish the nachos had queso sauce versus shredded cheese but oh well. Parking lot is small and although you can park on the side street, it’s very narrow so I don’t recommend parking there if you drive a suv or pick up truck. Perfect place to watch sports games because it’s not overly crowded or loud and you’ll get served faster than other restaurants and bars. Also, you get a free glass of beer when the lightning scores a point! During the football season, they«pour until they score»…so they pour for free till one of the teams scores a point. Sweet!!! Enjoy! Xo

We support Beef O’Brady’s because Beef O’Brady’s supports the community. They are always happy to host fundraiser events for groups. They host them on off peak nights, so this shouldn’t affect your dining experience too much. Do expect some noise here regardless. Think Bennigans meets your neighborhood sports bar meets a kid’s playroom. You must be be okay with a loud atmosphere. It’s very kid-friendly and sports fan-friendly. Lots of games for kids to play. Several TVs for sports fans. Very affordable. Food is as expected; you’ll find your typical bar eats. Safe chicken and fries option for the kids among other kid-friendly meals. The Buffalo Chicken Sandwich was surprisingly really good! Service is nice and friendly, especially given how slammed they can get during games. Great local business to support.

I absolutely LOVE this Beef’s!!! The management is phenomenal and has always been extremely helpful in any situation. I’ve been coming here for years to attend MSU college football watch parties, Monday Night Football, Sunday afternoon football and even to have dinner with my family. Every single time I’ve been here, my experience has been amazing. MSU watch parties can be very chaotic with many people and tons of food orders. The staff has always been on their game and accurate. They remain calm and friendly despite the crowds. Monday Night Football is really fun!!! They have«Pour Till They Score» which is free beer(Bud Light) until the first team scores. It’s a really fun drinking event to attend with your friends! Sundays are chill at Beef’s if you want to kick back and watch a game. They have a full liquor bar as well as great prices on pitchers of beer. The food has always been consistent and very delicious. I really love most of their appetizers as well as the wings. The nachos are huge and really good. Fried pickles are never a bad idea. My favorite wings are the hot boneless(the hotter the better!). I’ve never heard anything bad from friends and family about the sandwiches or burgers. I’ve always enjoyed the Grilled Chicken Wrap and the curly fries are delightful. Make sure you check out this location! It’s great for kids and adults as well!

What happened? This place used to be great and busy. It looks like they changed ownership because they cut back on staff, they’re empty and the service is horrible. There are 5 employees on the floor. Two are having a meeting at a table, one is at the register entering all the days receipts and the other two are stuck doing the work. The poor bartender is also busy serving at other tables so I just waited 15 minutes to order a second beer. Poor service and a long wait for food. Just not what it used to be. Fortunately the food is still OK.

I am torn about writing this review because I frequently visit this location during football season. It has great ambiance and typically great servers, that was until last night. Our waitress was outrageously rude to our table. She repeatedly rolled her eyes when we placed orders and made numerous rude remarks. Quite frankly I have never been treated like this, especially in a restaurant. We spent more than $ 300 to be treated like an inconvenience. Near the end of the evening she said she was ready to leave(the restaurant was packed for the playoffs), so she was bringing us our check and we had to cash out. Her name is Amanda so avoid her table at all costs. Shameful.

Honestly, most Beef ‘O’ Brady’s don’t get my attention at all… but this particular location is a clear exception. The current management here has always treated my friends and I exceptionally well no matter where they’ve been over the years in the South Tampa area.(Cherry’s, Square One, etc.) While most of South Tampa offers little value and zero parking in terms of a casual dining or drinking experience, this BOB’s stands out in those departments. Unlike other locations, I find this Beef ‘O’ Brady’s to be not only comfortable but set up less like a Beef O’Brady’s and more like its own place. Sure, the menu is the same, but the atmosphere and the vibe here is a major step above every other BOB’s that I have ever visited.(Maybe because I prefer to be around adults when I go out, which is a major reason I usually pass on other locations.) Trivia nights on Wednesday here are a major hit and somehow even those poor Browns Backers(See our CM Brett N’s posting on this page for confirmation) don’t annoy me as much here as they do other places in their futile attempts to cheer on one of the four remaining franchises to NEVER have played in a Super Bowl. Oh, and I should mention that I think the kitchen staff here does an excellent job. I’ve never had anything off the menu here that wasn’t hot, tasty and sometimes surprisingly delicious. French Dip Thursdays are always on my mind if I’m in the area for lunch, especially with those dangerous breaded pickle chips on the side.

Great spot for game day! We usually go to Buffalo wild wings on Sundays to watch our Seahawks play since we don’t get their games on local cable in Tampa, but we decided to switch it up last Sunday and I’m glad we did. We walked in and they had all of the TVs labeled with different team flags, so that you could know which TV your team is going to be playing on and pick your seats accordingly. I ordered the pretzel bun sliders, I wouldn’t say that they were anything special but they were pretty good. The reason for my four stars is the great service, not to mention fast service, and awesome game viewing seats throughout the restaurant and bar area.

For being in a «higher end» area, I am surprised that the food at this restaurant is not held to a higher standard. We were here watching a football game and the service was amazing, and of course the beer was great but, the food is awful. We had chicken tenders and cheese dip at our table. I am a seasoned cook and the cheese dip looked like something reconstituted from a powder. It was cold and had a strange consistency. The chicken tenders tasted as though they were fried in rancid oil and the french fries were cold and soggy. Step it up Beefs!

This is more than just your plain old«pub» place compared to Applebees and Chili’s with their customer service outstanding and personable. Their alcohol and food specials are good, they have a Coke«freestyle» machine to mix your hearts desire! I always end up getting a burger or wings as both do not disappoint nor end up dry. I would highly recommend this place to anyone with their level of customer service and no disappoint to their televisions.

For beef’s, this one is probably the best in the area. Located on the corner of Macdill and Bay to Bay, this location is usually hopping during college football season. The beer specials are usually pretty darn good and their waterson sandwich is the best. As far as wings go, the medium heat is plenty for me and their wings are usually pretty meaty. If youre in the area, give this place a try.

I love this place. Always great food, great prices. Friendly service. You can bring your boo for a casual drink or your can bring the whole family. The time is always hot and fresh. This is definitely a sports bar/slash family restaurant. They serve breakfast on weekends now. Yay!

Why 3 stars? Because it is what we thought it was. — — — I simply come to Beefs for one reason: it’s a Browns Backers bar during NFL season. If you’re a huge fan of places like Chili’s and Applebee’s, then you’ll probably find yourself content at Beef O’ Brady’s. Those types of businesses, however, are not my Cup O’ Tea. I often would eat just before heading to the football game, just so that I didn’t have to subject myself to eating at Beef’s. Well… for the last game of the year I didn’t eat before hand. I felt bad watching the game many times without ordering any food, so I got myself some loaded nachos. And the result was that the actual soggy plate of food did not even come close to resembling the majestic slice of culinary heaven from the menu picture. Unfortunately, it tasted like it looked. So how does Beef’s get 3-stars? 1) They are a Browns bar, and my favorite in the TB area. 2) Sam/Samantha was our server each week, and she is incredible. Serving for a bunch of hardcore football fans cannot be easy. You have to be a lot like a good referee — unnoticed, but doing your job flawlessly. You can’t just jump in and ask for drink orders in the middle of a crucial play, but you also don’t have the time to sit around and wait for a commercial to take orders… not when you have several tables of patrons watching other games that are timed up differently. So kudos to them for hosting us, and kudos to Sam busting her ass. The food and the beer selection though? There’s a lot left to be desired.

This place SUCKS!!! I was put on hold for over 10 mins when trying to place my to go order. Once the order was placed they said it would be 20 mins. It took almost an hour to get our food and the servers are the worst I have ever seen. There is a beefs about 5 mins away from this one I would defiantly recommend going there. If I could give this place less than a star I would!!!

I met a friend here for a quick drink tonight and I haven’t been to a Beef’s in years. We chose this bar more for convenience of location than anything else. I ordered a Apple Cider Martini, which I must admit was very good! They also introduce a brand new IPA every Monday which is priced at only $ 2! So, my friend was quite happy with that! Our server’s name was Joy and bless her heart, it was her first night. Well, Joy was a «joy» to deal with(oh come on… you knew that it was coming haha) and did great for her first night. Sam, the bartender, would also check on us frequently, as well. So needless to say, the service was outstanding. This review is solely based on drinks because we did not eat. I will however be back because I have a $ 50 gift certificate I need to spend! I will definitely update my review then!

This is where the University of Michigan and West Virginia University(along with others) alumni officially meet to watch games. Therefore, on days that certain teams are playing, this place will be completely packed! I love this places nachos. They are huge and fully loaded with everything you want on nachos. Their wings are good also. Honestly, all the food here is fine for bar food. The real reason you come here is for the atmosphere. Usually they have two college alumni groups here at the same time. One is in half of the bar and the other is on the other side. This makes sure that on weekends this place is packed to almost standing room only on college football(and basketball) weekends. Parking here can be difficult. The Beef O’ Brady’s parking lot fills up really fast and you end up having to park on the street. Sometimes the Salvation Army opens up its parking lot to patrons. I’m always wary of parking on the street, because I don’t want to be towed, but it seems pretty safe here. This is a great place to grab a beer and relive your college days with people of all ages.
