This gem is one of my top 3 in Tampa! Bianchi’s is a small, chill spot off of MacDill Ave in South Tampa. It has an air of sophistication without being pretentious and there is a very loving vibe which is best expressed and experienced in the food. The focus here is on quality not quantity! The food is exquisite and there is a lot of attention to detail in each dish. Case in point, there omelette… It’s the best there is, plain and simple. I’ve had them all over. Paris, Munich, whatever… Tampa Bay you fools, TAMPAMUTHA F@*KINBAY… The owners, Susan and Romeo are as dope as they come very knowledgeable on wine so they can help you discern what’s the best thing to wet your whistle while you savor the perfection that’s on your plate. It’s a great place for an elegant breakfast, lunch or dinner. Go for a glass of wine and some hors d’oeuvres, or an amazing charcuterie plate. Have you ever had duck prosciutto? Don’t lie, you know you haven’t. You can get it at Bianchi’s Enoteca. Do yourself a favor, swing by and see what’s up. If you truly are a voluptuary you will be amazed that you never heard of this place.

Susan and Romeo have introduced Tampa to a lot of great wines. Their taste in wine is excellent and they are both good at providing suggestions. You must be open to trying something new and interesting in a place like this. If you’re the type(and this doesn’t make you a bad person) that only drinks Cali Cabernet this is not the place for you. If you get a cheese plate, let Romeo pick out the cheeses for you, he’ll steal you in the right direction. Their wine prices are more than fair for the caliber of wine you get. Excellent salads as well.

Loved everything about it! A hidden gem for sure. Setting and vibe are intimate and quaint. Great food and wine menu. The perfect escape from the hustle and bustle.

Ummmm… meh. I have had this place bookmarked for a while now also Nick S has incessantly been asking me about it. We ended up here by happenstance, because we were waiting on a table at Osteria Natalina. The place was cute, quaint, and had a limited selection of wines. I had the Charlii Rosé Sparkling from Nevada and it was good. But then again, don’t most people love some champs? Oops sorry France… it is from the U. S…we cannot use the word«champagne.» While I am not normally price sensitive, I am service conscious. Anyone who knows me or has dined with me knows I always take the time to get my bartender’s and/or server’s name and their story. It makes a difference. Pretty sure about 90% of the Unilocalers who complain about crappy service don’t even take the time to get to know these people. Guess what? It is a two way street and you can ALWAYS tell a lot about a person from how they treat their servers. Sorry, I digress. Yes, the wait for our drinks was very short. Yes, our wait time for a table at Osteria Natalina was short, as well, and she let us know our table was ready. But, the bartender on duty wasn’t too friendly until it was time to take care of the check. She seemed impatient even though everyone in the place had been taken care of and she was NOT in the weeds. That does NOT fly with me. Would I return? Only if and only if I was waiting for a table at one of the restaurants in that plaza. I’ll take my chances at a wine bar or restaurant that is more convenient to me and has a wider selection of wine and sparkling. There are so many other wine bars in Hyde Park and South Tampa that put this place to shame. Oh and BTW, the parking situation in that plaza is a TOTAL cluster you-know-what. Yeah, I am going to pass. Why create more headaches?

Nice but a little too uppity for my taste. Small plates were a bit too small for the price.

Wine bars had been lacking in Tampa and then all of a sudden they are the new«IN» thing. Well, this place has been hiding in the Bayshore Plaza for a few years and finally experienced it while waiting for a table at a nearby restaurant. Great little spot, intimate and has some really great offerings that we will have to try next time. We only had time for a glass of wine and the people around us ordered charcuterie plates and other dishes that looked quite enticing. This is definitely MORE than just your average wine bar. Prices are very reasonable, too. They offer lunch and dinner and a Pasta Wednesday special. I thought they also did a weekend brunch thing but couldn’t confirm that on their website. The people we met at the bar were all very cool, nice people. I think this is a hidden gem and will get more business from us!

my husband and I went here tonight after we had already gone to a disappointing dinner. This gem is located in a little shopping plaza with plenty of parking spots but if going during prime hours you’re able to park in the lot directly to the left of it. This is a small, quaint little wine bar with a husband and wife duo that do just about everything. I ordered the brussle sprouts and the fig and mascarpone, both found in the small plate section. The sprouts were fantastic, perfectly seasoned and presented with some crustinis. The fig was my favorite and I am tempted to go back as I write this review. It was perfection in food form. The service is slower than at a regular restaurant since it is the owner waiting on everyone. There aren’t a lot of seats inside — probably around 10 and then there is a bar with about 8 bar stools. They do have some outdoor tables too. I will be going back for more. They serve breakfast too. Very simple but done right. Bravo.

I hesitate even giving this place a review because selfishly I would rather not everyone know about it. With the exception of Berns this is our go to spot if we want great food and wine. Romeo is the man and it’s amazing the food he comes up with in a kitchen the size of a closet. Susan always has an awesome selection of extremely reasonable wines and champagne. The staff is friendly and attentive. I love this place. The salmon pâté and the bib lettuce salad are staples for us but we have enjoyed every dish we have had over the years. They mix up the menu and typically have great specials. They also have a nice selection of cheeses. This place truly is a hidden gem and their prices are more than reasonable. If you are looking for large portions for crapablebees prices then stay away but if you like gourmet small plates, nice wines and a laid back atmosphere I would suggest you give this a shot. They also do a pasta special on Wednesdays. It has been great the nights we have tried it.

My BF and I stopped by here on a Saturday night. We had been wanting to try it and we had a 30 minute wait gap to fill so we wandered in for a drink. Such a disappointment. Don’t get me wrong, the place is cozy, very intimate, and lovely. A perfect date spot. It was crowded when we were there but got a seat immediately at the bar. The server behind the bar walked in front us 5 times, with no acknowledgment whatsoever. She was reaching below the bar, literally 1 foot from us, looked us in the eye and didn’t even say hello. Not even a smile. Meanwhile, everyone around us was being personally greeted, gabbed at and hugged. It was like we accidentally walked into a private club. When the server finally asked what we wanted(10 minutes later) we requested the wine menu and was told that the chalkboard above the bar was the complete wine menu. Okaaaaay… but why not just take 30 seconds when we sat down to say hello, direct us to the chalkboard and then offer to check back with us in a few minutes? There were only about 7 or so options. We each ordered a glass and we’re acknowledged or checked on again for another 20 minutes until I finally just took my credit card and put it on the bar in hopes that the staff would take the hint. For me, this place was simply too snobby. It has so much potential, but no customer wants to feel unwelcome, especially in such a small, intimate place. I truly wish we had had a better experience, becasue this is the kind of wine bar where we would have probably spent a lot of time. Sadly, though, we do not plan on going back. :-(

This is one of our favorite places in South Tampa. Susan and Romeo are warm and friendly, the rotating wine selection is always interesting and reasonably priced, and the food is fantastic. Breakfast is delicious — Romeo’s eggs are without a doubt the best I’ve ever had(to date, three skeptical friends have become converts to that view too!). Be sure to try the strangely addictive avocado toast. For lunch, happy hour or dinner, the arugula salad and roasted vegetable salad are both delicious, as are all the bruschettas(especially the mushrooms!). Great cheese and charcuterie as well. Really, you can’t go wrong with anything they have on offer!

Breakfast is amazing; definitely out of the ordinary. Their omelette is –this may sound as cliché– a gourmet’s delight, and at reasonable prices. Dinner Time is also a great opportunity to try their creative menu. Nice atmosphere and nice people.

This is a craft restaurant where the staff take pride in everything they serve and how they serve it. Bianchi’s is a very old world experience so don’t expect anything but elegant well prepared flavorful bites of things that make a difference in your mouth. The portions are designed to be able to try complimentary flavors and we have never left feeling that we weren’t well fed with amazingly well prepared and well thought out combinations. Susan and Romeo have put together a special gift for Tampa to enjoy.

this is a hidden gem in Tampa. Absolutely the best omelets in TAMPA. Its not over cooked, its not enormous, its perfect! I have also been back for lunch, oh boy the lobster panini with fennel salad with truffle oil… i have also been back for dinner since. Its not a place to gorge yourself, its a place to enjoy the finest of foods, cheeses and wines and company. Its a wonderful spot that is attended by many locals who LOVE it. Dont be afraid to go alone, sit at the bar and chat to the owners, they are lovely. Went for dinner next door at Ostetia Natalia and the owner sent us here to have a glass of wine due to the wait. Ordered Bridgette and RECEIVED2 pieces! It was 5 dollars and literally, two bites. The bread was so thin it just teased you.

This is a lovely little gem in south Tampa. We wandered in late on a Saturday, not wanting a hot meal. What a find! Lovely wines by the glass, and an impressive assortment of meats and cheeses. The simple arugula salad was perfectly lovely. My husband, who is admittedly not much of a vegetable eater, couldn’t stop eating it. The staff was fantastic with a great knowledge of the wine list and good cheese recommendations(we asked for three cheeses without goat or blue cheese, and we got a lovely selection of burrata, a soft Colorado cheese, and a beautiful hard cow cheese from France). I’m so glad to have found this neighborhood business.

This fabulous wine bar was recommend to me by a friend. I have since been twice, once for breakfast and once in the evening. The breakfast was amazing, a goat cheese herb omelet with sour Doug toast and a cup or 2 of fresh press coffee that was outstanding –the best breakfast ever? I went back immediately to experience the wine and appetizers. The wine list is selective but the owner will not steer you wrong… I had one of the best reds ever. The appetizer I had, wild mushrooms, proscuto and blu cheese bruchetta and cheese tray, all fresh and exceptional! Love, love, love … Will go back frequently.

Adorable wine bar in a shopping center. Sounds contradictory but works better than you know. Great wine list, great suggestions from the owners! The place is tiny but I’ve sat comfortably at both the bar and outside high tops on the sidewalk. The food is delicious— I’ve had 2 apps before and am dying to return for their Wednesday night pasta nights. Definitely check out this adorable neighborhood spot!

You enter into a strip mall unprepared for the surprising and elegant charm of Bianchi’s Enoteca. Where am I again? Soho? No, ho! Tampa! This morning I was treated to what was the most delicious omelette I’ve ever had, with fresh herbs, goat cheese, and perfectly-cooked eggs, and a side of grilled toast that made me forego my carb-free lifestyle. Now, any of you who cook know that a perfectly-done egg is a sign of talent. In addition, the coffee sent me face-first into the morning, ready to rock. Inside, Bianchi’s is simple and charming, without the usual«I’m in Florida» look and feel so ubiqitious in these parts. I’m looking forward to trying Bianchi’s for dinner soon, and partake of their well-curated wine selection. There is also a bit of outdoor seating in front should you want to enjoy the sunshine. However, I would recommend hanging inside with the friendly owner and chef to get the full effect of this enoteca Enoteca(plural: Enoteche) is an Italian word, derived from the Greek word, which literally means«wine repository»(from Oeno/Eno–«wine», and teca, «receptacle, case, box»), but is used to describe a special type of local or regional wine shop that originated in Italy. Bianchi’s Enoteca is one box I wouldn’t mind being kept in for a long, long time.
