Brooklyn Express

I was looking for a job when I moved to Tampa last year and having lots of experience managing a Dominos Pizza I figured I’d try all of the Pizza places nearby, Brooklyn Express being one of them. I was hired immediately. I was a little thrown off with the fact that everything was just under the table. That was super sketchy. Anyway, so I am being showed around this place and I was absolutely horrified. He had a wing bowl in the same cooler as his cans of coke for customers. The desserts were old and crusty, the employees weren’t practicing proper sanitation procedures AT ALL, food temperatures were absolutely out of code and I know it for a fact. I could go on and on. I worked there a total of four hours and that was the end of that. I have NO IDEA how this place isn’t shut down but I URGE you please do not go there. It is absolutely horrifying. I wouldn’t even send someone I hated there. YUCK.

We had a flyer in our hotel saying that they were open until 1am but we were told they were closed when we called at 11 pm. They took the order after we told them about the flyer. It finally came after 1am. Wish they would have just said that they were closed. Incomplete order and a burned crust for a pizza.

I wish I would have checked here before ordering! I ordered online and it said the wait time is about 45 minutes. I didn’t get my food for THREE hours. About ten minutes after I placed my order I received a phone call telling me they were very busy and it may actually be an hour to an hour and a half before I got my food. I ordered early and wasn’t starving so said ok. After two hours came and went I called and was told the driver had left and was on the way. I mapped the distance to my house, 10 minute drive. Several more phone calls and another hour later I finally got a call from the driver trying to pinpoint my location. I had to wait outside and flag her down so she didn’t drive by my not-​at-​all-​confusing-​to-​find house. So after three hours and many phone calls I got a cold pizza (like, no semblance AT ALL that this had ever been remotely warm) and a half-​hearted apology. Terrible service and food. Never, never, never again.

If i could i would give it 0 stars. Food was 30 min late, pasta didn’t have salad or garlic knots. The garlic wings tasted like plain wings and the fries were very soggy. The girl that brought the food must have dropped the bag becase the pasta container was bent and spilling all over the bag. I called and asked for a refund and he was not concerned about apologizing, just making excuses. All around a horrible experience. We did end up getting a refund but only thanks to

Wow, I wasn’t expecting anything after reading the reviews, but since I live so close, what the hell. I like leaving positive, long reviews– this isn’t one of them.
IT SUCKS, DON’T GO!!!
I can at least say that the cheesesteak wasn’t only terribly made, but had more veggies than meat, which isn’t what a cheesesteak should be at all. I can’t even give them a second chance. The best part about this place is that when they close, maybe somewhere that doesn’t suck will open there.

I just spent a small fortune for 20 wings and 3 sandwiches and mini cannoli’s. Absolutely awful. Wings were over cooked. The BLT had no bacon on it at all. They give no refunds and when I called to complain they offered me more bad food for free. I told him no. I don’t want more bad food. I spent 56 dollars for nothing. I could have taken that and bought food and cooked it myself and it would have kick a$$. I am never ever going to recommend this place nor will I ever order from here if it was the last thing on this earth to eat.

Everyone else’s reviews are pretty spot on. This was not cooking, just throwing some frozen/​canned goods together. I ordered mozerella sticks; came w/​no sauce & were hard. Chicken Parmesan was diced chicken with barely any tomato sauce & cheese. The chicken was grilled, DICED chicken? Looked like deli meat.

Not again. Did not like the Greek salad ended up ordering pizza from somewhere else. Waste of money.

I’d like to give them zero stars if possible. I ordered a pizza from there, 2 hours ago, it’s yet to show up. No one has answered the phone since I’ve tried calling 5 times. I’m glad I selected pay with cash since i’m pretty sure my food isn’t showing up.

Do not recommend going here. Ordered 30 wings and a 12inch sub. Found more than one hair in the wings, even called them to let them know about it and was told to throw away the wings and that they would be replaced. Come to find out about an hour later with no courtesy call we call them back and they some lady answers the phone and we explain once again, she then tells us that they reviewed the tape and there is No possible way hair could have be in our food. The manager was to busy to take our call. So I lost my food and money, we feel robbed. Not to mention the wings were meet less, but the Philly sub was ok. I would not recommend this place simple because of their professionalism. Yes we are very unhappy.

Ordered delivery of chicken parmigiana
The pasta was overcooked. The chicken was cut into tiny cubes and the whole thing was covered in cheese. Had no flavor. I will never spend get another meal (if you can call it a meal) again!!!

Have been trying to test the place… but appears closed every time i drive by mid-​day.
