Food is fresh and big portions of meat when I ordered the house rice. Customer service sucks. They have a child taking orders. She can be rude. Doesn’t greet you. Asked for the order. Doesn’t say thank you. Pet peeve when a child has no home training. The older lady, might be her mom is the same way. Very curt. I tried it out but I won’t be visiting again due to customer service. There are too many Chinese restaurant, no need to pay for mediocre service.

The best Chinese in the northern Hillsborough area. The chicken and vegetables were fresh and high quality. I pass 4 locations from my home to China 1. The only suggestion would be to make is spicier or hotter. I had Hunan chicken and Hot and Sour soup. Both were very good, but not very spicy.
True mom and pop. The kids were helping out and I think the whole family was there.

I was on this side of town for training and stopped by for lunch General Tso chicken. It was blah, I eat new York style Chinese food all the time. Rice tasted old, chicken had spice but overall I was disappointed.

I was raised on New York City-​style Chinese food, and this is by far the best NY-​style chinese takeout in the area. When relatives come to visit, they always comment on how good the food is from China One… they never disappoint. I am an avowed regular, but have tried new places in the area when someone recommends; however, I have yet to find a place that beats China One. You know the menu… they’re all the same. The difference is quality of ingredients and preparation. Everything just tastes excellent. Service is prompt and very friendly. Highly recommend.

They were very friendly, quick and helpful with our order. My Singapore chow mei fun was ok, beteer than PF Changs for sure! My friend loved her mooshu pork. She’s been going here for 14yrs. I’d probably go again for some basic.

I’ve been eating take out Chinese in Carrollwood for about 20 years. I’ve tried all of the places around here and have, more or less, centered in on China 1. It’s easy access to from my home and I like the way they do Kung Pao Chicken. I could use a little bit more spice, but haven’t found any take out around that spices it up any better than China 1 does. They’ve always been on time for us on call ins. Our order tends to go all over the place from Kung Pao to Honey Chicken to Lemon Chicken to Beef and Broccoli. They’ve been able to do a decent job on it. I wish they would put together a Kung Pao Beef but, again, most takeouts don’t.

I just moved to this area a month ago an this was the 1st Chinese restaurant i came across. Good food and its always done within 10−15min like they say. Ive even had to cancel an order one time an they were fine with it. I wish they delivered though.

I’ve finally found a takeout Chinese spot in Tampa! The food isn’t over fried and the rice is not dry! My personal favorite is the shrimp with broccoli in brown sauce. Juicy. I know it’s a basic item but the medium-​sized shrimp was fresh and not overly cooked. I would recommend calling your order in because it can get busy in the evenings.
