My son eats here frequently and this is where he wanted his graduation lunch. I was pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness, and display of the food. The sushi was fresh and plentiful and very tasty. The only foods I didn’t like were those that came from frozen packaging and not freshly made. All in all, great price for lunch, great service from our waitress and good atmosphere.

Food ok, but we were each forced to pay a 15% surcharge for a party of 13 for self service. Our group will no longer go there. You’d think they would want customers.

This place is nasty and dirty! The floor is so slippery from not mopping I allmost could not walk, The food was horrible and the sushi looked so bad I would never have risked food poisioning to try it. 98% of the customers were trashy scumbags who dressed like gang bangers who each had 3 to 5 kids who were yelling and screaming so I will never be back. This place went out of business before and will do so again.

Habachi was okay. Had a few other things. By the time I got home my face swelled up and I have no known allergies! The services wasn’t bad, but it definitely was not great

For Chinese combo hibachi restaurants this one is pretty much standard in layout. Everything you find in other similar restaurants you will find here, perhaps even a few more items. So why 5 starts? I felt the quality here was better than I found at similar joints. What I especially liked is their food is NOT overcooked like others places. Chicken wings, fried fish and edamame were correctly cooked. The wife thought the oysters and large head-on seasoned shrimp were also above average. Price was good too. Courteous service. Really a lot of items to choose from. Only negative, and it’s a small one, is the credit card machine has tip recommendations to help you, but the tip recommended includes tip for both meal AND tax, which I believe is a no-no; however, everything else about this restaurant makes this totally forgivable. Next time I will try the grilled items. I am definitely coming back! This review was for their brunch meal, i.e., before 3:30 p.m.

Best Buffet in Tampa area hands-down. Similar to krazy Buffet downtown with large assortment but not as large on price. Owners and staff seem happy which is a plus for a Chinese restaurant. Cute they have resident ducks living outside… must be a lake nearby.

We had lunch here yesterday. The food and the selections available were very good. The price is also decent. The only reason I can only give them three stars is that their web site specifically states that if there is a party of 5 or more there for a birthday, if the Birthday person shows ID, their meal is free. When we inquired about this, they said, «No, we don’t do that.» I mentioned that it’s on their website and the lady said, «Yes, we know, we can’t get it off.» Which means to me that they paid for a web site, but are no longer paying to have it updated. Other than that issue, we were very pleased with the experience. Just giving a heads up about their false advertising on their website.

Probably the worst sushi I’ve ever had. Bad décor, bad service, very loud. Never again.

This place has 0 care about customer service! They speak to you like your a POS! If it was up to me this place would get no stars. I use to regularly come here and they never had employees that spoke to you like they did to me today! All I know this place will never see my face again or my MONEY! There food is always dry and is absolutely disgusting now. I’m not sure what happen maybe it’s there cook. I only come here for their crab legs which I was told after my 3 cluster that I was limited to getting more. Tall Asian who doesn’t speak a lick of English was in my face and telling me(broken English) that if I wanted more crab legs to go to the hard rock and pay 45.00! He then told me that they lose money if we allowed customers to crab unlimited crab legs! Like WTF? So why even offer all you can eat crab legs then? Owner/Management did nothing to compensate me for my troubles and took the side of their employee who spoke to customer like a POS! Last dollar I EVERSPENDINTHISSHITTYASSPLACE!

Ive gone to this restaurant for the last couple of years. Its always been good and the service was satisfactory. However, my last visit about two months ago will likely be my last. While taking a serving of the bourbon chicken, i found a long hair. Not cool…

I’ve never been so pleasantly surprised and taken back before by a Chinese buffet. We went on a Friday night and it was way too pricey but since we made the drive out there, decided to go and check it out. The food was delicious! My goodness and fresh! I couldn’t wait to get up a get another plate! Their food selection is great and it’s clean inside and the best part was the hot wings they pressure cooked. This was by far a great place to bring a lot of family, HOWEVER, only for lunch or on a weekday night because it cost us $ 40 for just me and my husband and for that much, we could’ve went somewhere else but we didn’t regret this visit, just the bill.

It was okay. Of course it’s a Chinese buffet so it’s hit or miss. Have been a couple times and the last time all the food was cold and dry, and hard. :/I won’t be going back there ever again.

Food was good, sushi was tasty, hibachi chef sux and very rude and inattentive, but the grilled items were alright. The wait staff was attentive and well mannered. We will go back soon and hope for a better hibachi chef.

This is my fav Chinese Restaurant. One down side. Never go on a holiday. They can not keep up with the hungry people. Any other time great. The waitress are nice and if you are a regular they will see that you get better A+ service. The food is good and hot. Not really a Crab person but its worth fighting for when it is on the menu. Price is ok if you know how to eat. Lots of choices to pick from and I never leave hungry.

This place is awesome!!! My family and I went there for dinner today and I was impressed with the variety of food and flavor of everything we tried. I am so glad we found this place. It is our new favorite buffet. For $ 13.99 we ate all the crab clusters we cared to have. We also had oysters, sushi, shrimp and fish. Everything was fresh and delicious and my daughter loved their pizza and mac & cheese. They have something for everyone. The place is very clean and nicely decorated. We had a really good time and will definitely come back soon.

I have tried this place about 10 times. Each time is worst than the last and I will not be giving it any more chances to get it right. Manager takes us to a table and wipes off table top covered in water. We get our food and return to table and water drips into our food from the roof/ceiling. We discard our plates and move tables. We try again. Food is terrible. General tso chicken hard as a rock. Fried shrimp the same. Tasted like it was a week old. The Mac m cheese is nowhere near warm or even room temperature. Somehow it was actually cold. The crab legs were gone and were never replenished. This was a 6:30 pm on a Friday. The food situation was horrendous. Then we saw the roach on the buffet. We showed the waitress who showed the owner. He was unmoved. The food was so bad my stomach hurt for a few hours after. I will never return to this place.

Other reviewers were pretty spot on-I read all of them before we went here. I am not a huge fan of buffets, but I do love Asian food(especially good sushi), so I was hesitant but curious about this place, which is really close to my house. We walked in around 730 on a Saturday night, it wasn’t slammed or dead, we were seated right away. The waitress was very nice and immediately took our drink order($ 3.50 for a glass of vino? Hellz yea!) and invited us to the buffet. The restaurant was clean and large. There are many different types of food, and I only tried what I know I like: *Dim sum and pot stickers– very tasty and well prepared *crab rangoon and pork eggrolls– yummm, very full of stuffing and not too greasy *sushi– surprisingly good and fresh and creative-better than Publix(which is also surprisingly good) *hibachi-the food was good, but the ‘yum yum’ sauce was just honey mustard, as another reviewer noted, which sucked! Real yum yum would have been amazing *hot sake-it was only $ 3.50, but very coarse and hard to down, couldn’t finish it *crab legs-I had a bite of my husbands, he filled about 4 plates with them and really enjoyed them *Dessert – I had a tiny bit of ice cream and a cream puff, good selection of items Other people seemed to be enjoying the seafood-oysters, shrimp, craw fish, but I didn’t try these, I was too wary! Over all it was a good experience and I would return. It’s a casual, easy, inexpensive way to stuff yourself with Chinese food!

This buffet was surprisingly good. We ate here for dinner and it was only $ 12.99. They have a variety of dishes that can satisfy anyone’s appetite. Some of the food on the buffet station are hibachi(pick any meat and veges and they cook it right in front of you) dim sum, potstickers, egg rolls, crab rangoons, fried shrimp, soups(4 different kinds: wonton soup, egg drop, miso, and hot and sour) a big salad bar, sushi and sashimi, chow mein, fried rice, baked fish, mussels, crawfish, fried chicken wings, salt and pepper shrimp, salt and pepper frog legs, crab legs, carved roast beef, bacon wrapped chicken, stuffed shrimp, shrimp balls, bourbon chicken, general tso, Japanese chicken, they have other dishes– plus fruit and desserts. I tried: *Peppered steak with green/red peppers & onions: tender, flavorful and cooked just right. *Chow mein: I really liked it! Great flavor and delicious. *Coconut shrimp: pretty good. It reminded me of walnut shrimp without the walnuts. *Sautéed mushrooms: flavorful and cooked well, not soggy at all. *Crab rangoons: filled with LOTS of cream cheese. *Shrimp Balls: they were just ok. Parking is not hard to find and the employees here were friendly, always coming by to clear our table and refilling our drinks. I also noticed they were constantly refilling the food. Overall the food was good and the service was great. Plus you can not beat the price.

Hibachi Buffet is located on Fletcher Avenue, one block east of N. Dale Mabry Highway at Orange Grove Drive. It’s in the same shopping center as Fresh Market; Bed, Bath and Beyond; and Pet Supermarket, but you’ll find the Hibachi Buffet around the corner, facing Fletcher Avenue. This restaurant used to be a Roadhouse Grill, and has sat vacant for quite some time. The buffet is a nice mixture of Japanese sushi, Chinese food, build-your-own Mongolian BBQ, and Americanized favorites. I counted seven different serving stations inside the restaurant including fresh sushi and sashimi, 6 different types of soups, Spring rolls, egg rolls, dim sum, fried shrimp, and all of your favorite Chinese carry-out goodies on the steam tables. They had carve-your-own roast beef, baked salmon and tilapia, snow crab legs, oysters, peel ‘n eat shrimp, oysters, mussels, and a large variety of salads and side dishes. For the adorable little screaming children they had pizza, chicken tenders, shrimp, mac & cheese, and so on. The dessert bar has cakes, cookies, cream puffs, lots of fresh fruit, Jell-O, and ice cream. The quality of the food is surprisingly good for one of these massive Asian buffet places, and the runners from the kitchen were constantly bringing out fresh trays of food — even at 8:30pm. The price for the lunch buffet is $ 7.99 for adults, and the dinner buffet is under $ 15. Hibachi Buffet will let you build your own carryout buffet, and you’re charged by the pound. The restaurant also has a full«traditional» Asian(Chinese and Sushi) menu which can be ordered in-house or for carryout. Since this was once a Roadhouse Grill there is plenty of space inside, and the owner has kept a private dining room which can handle groups of up to 80 people. I’d rank this better than your average Asian buffet and worth a visit.
