Slow service and expensive food… Not worth the money greasy and gross and the hour wait for that is not worth it Though the turkey wrap is delicious The tenders are more like nuggets and the pizza isn’t fresh

I have had lunch here a few times on visits to Busch Gardens. It is has very standard fare of pizza, chicken fingers, fries, mozzarella sticks and deserts and drinks that is too expensive… but your trapped. They probably have more but it’s an uneventful menu. However, kids choice. The Crown Pub is located just outside the Cheetah Hunt ride. There are two entrances, one in the front and one on the side. The crown has a lower level for lunch and a nicer room for dinner upstairs. It’s set up cafeteria style, grab a tray and grab your food as you proceed through the line. You order your drink at the end. Check out is just outside the line. Don’t forget to use your seasons pass to save 10% discount. Condiments are just outside the checkout. The dining room is very large and most likely there will not be an issue with finding seating. The cleanliness was so, so. Not all tables were wiped clean and some debris on the floor. The food was above average and the kids enjoyed pizza, chicken fingers and fries. So does it justify the cost, not quite. However, it at least make you feel better. If the menu fits don’t quit.

The Crown Colony Restaurant(the sit down area upstairs, not the downstairs counter service) has been my top pick for where to eat at Busch Gardens for the last 10+ years for one very big reason — free drink refills. The upstairs area features a large, shaded patio area with ample ceiling fans and even in the scorching Florida heat, I have never chosen to sit inside. The view out over the Serengeti area is nice and sometimes you can see giraffes ambling by as you eat. The menu offers limited selection of sandwiches, salads and entrees. I’ve never done the family-style chicken and fish but over the years I’ve found the salads and sammies to be decent. Let’s be clear here — theme park food is rarely amazing and I am not sure anything here blows my socks off. Years ago they had a chocolate and mint layered dessert that was in my top 10 of food anywhere, but at this point the main appeal for me is a comfortable seat and plenty of frosty glasses of iced tea. For me, a leisurely lunch and lots of rehydration is the perfect midday break for a theme park and the service has been excellent on my visits.

Mediocre. Not awful. Not anything I would run back to. The view is great, and it’s nice to eat at a sit-down after walking around. The chicken is good, but the sides are low quality. Service was great!

Possibly the worst salad I have ever had. Ordered a salad with extra chicken. Chicken was so tough I could barely chew it. Lettuce was old and soggy. Had to order more goats cheese as there was none on it and the almond slices were non existent. Tomato garnish looked like it had been cut three days ago. Service was decent and view was great but really terrible food. Oh and the pita bread was stale.

The Crown Colony restaurant, café, and pub is the largest sit-down eatery inside Busch Gardens, and a great place to rest your feet in between all of the coaster rides, animal exhibits, and great shows in the park. The upstairs area(the restaurant) has window-side tables overlooking the African Serengeti Plain. You can order off the menu, including all you can eat fried chicken and fish, while watching the zebras, giraffes, and other animals. Downstairs is the café, and that’s set up like a lunch buffet where you grab a tray and select one of the daily specials, and then carry your tray to a nearby table. Also on the lower level is the Crown Colony Pub which has a great selection of over 25 brews and wine along with bar snacks. For the Holidays the outside of the Crown Colony is decorated with colorful lights, and several times each hour the music of Trans-Siberian Orchestra’s Carol of the Bells rings out, and the entire structure pulses to the music with synchronized lighting. It’s a fantastic show, not to be missed!

The end of an era, I never thought they would ever close. Crown colony restaurant and staff, you will be missed !! The best crew /family I’ve ever had the pleasure to work with. So many memories. I wish you the staff all the luck in wherever they go and know that the CCR had a huge impact on us all.

I was at Busch Gardens recently for their holiday extravaganza Christmas Town, The group I was with decided to try Crown Colony for dinner as we were right there getting off of Cheetah Hunt. In your normal theme park way, there is a maze of ropes to get through to order and a limited menu… Chicken Strips, Pizza, Chicken AND Pizza… But they also had a roast beef dinner that included, mashed potatoes, salad and a dinner roll for 9.99. I decided to go with that and was pleasantly surprised. Now, going in, I was not thinking i was at Bern’s Steak House, but was happy at how tender the meat was and the portion size. It was a very busy night at the park and there were limited places to sit. We waited a little bit and was able to find a seat in the back room behind the bar… Wait, did I just say bar? They have a full service bar and to any parent with multiple kids, this might be your saving grace for the day. All in all, a good place to eat. As I said in the beginning however, we were coming OFF Cheetah Hunt… not getting ON after dinner!

Stopped in here during our Unilocal event for a beer and quick bite. Wow, the food at Busch Gardens is just horrid! I can’t believe they sell this crud but I guess when you’re trapped in a park and have to eat you don’t have much of a choice. That being said, the pub part was ok, nice selection of beers and mixed drinks as well

Got lured in by the fried chicken sign I’ve had better fried chicken and better food overall. Don’t think it was worth the amount we spent on all you can eat. I guess the all you can eat would be a good concept if the food was actually good enough to keep ordering to ur hearts content. However, was not really impressed with the food in FL and I know amusement park food can be quite lousy… except for maybe Disneyland =)

Nice! Indoor sit down meal, family style! You dine overlooking the wildlife, as you take in a view of the Serengeti Plain! Grab a seat near the windows. Check this out, for under $ 20 per person you can get all-you-care-to-eat fried chicken and fish! Or, order from sandwiches, seafood, salads and kids’ meals. What does the all-you-care-to-eat include? Both chicken and fish, veggies, mashed potatoes, fries, stuffing and gravy. Is it healthy? Heck no but it’s delicious. And they will just keep bringing the food whenever you say refill. It’s a pretty epic value setup. Just make sure you don’t overstuff cause there are so many coasters to ride =)
