You can’t go wrong here. Grab a flight, a Burger, and enjoy the scenery. The service Is good, and the beer selection is endless.

My friends and I came here for a few drinks and while the selection is good the service is awful. We have been sitting at a table for roughly 10 minutes without being greeted. However, we do have a great view of all the servers not busy just casually wandering around. Must be chill to work here, but not so chill to actually be a paying customer. In my prior experience as a server, this is not cool.

Great food and beer! Extensive menu. Wanted to try everything and I did come back to this place twice in two days and everything i tried was amazing. Excellent service both the times. Will surely come back.

Jennifer was great. I’m not a beer drinker at all, she recommended a beer that made me feel like I was drinking juice instead. I was very pleased with the suggestion. Everyone in my party was pleased with her smile, enthusiasm and suggestions. I had the beer battered chicken tacos, they went great with my spring mix and kale salad. Thanks Jennifer. We will return.

Great place. It is a national/regional chain, but I was impressed with the staff’s knowledge of beer and the menu wasn’t bad either. I was here on business and decided to grab a few beers. What a great place. Very open and big seating areas and the bar staff was excellent. A great place to watch the game and grab a bite or even a relied date night.

Great for when you’re wanting a unique or rare beer that you can’t find just anywhere in the Tampa area. The pretzel and beer cheese is a MUST!

Great, huge selection of beers. They also sell liquor. I’d go with the big pretzel if you need a snack, it was so delicious. The staff was friendly, and mostly knowledgeable. I guess that would be the only down fall, when your staff is so young their drink knowledge could be better.

I ate here the other night and I was greatly disappointed. I’m giving the second star for beer selection but service and food rank as one star. I ordered the bratwurst and when I bit into it it was mush! I then looked and it was really obvious the bratwurst was very under cooked! I was pretty disgusted so I sent it back and ate a hummus plate instead. When I got the bill I saw the server left the bratwurst on it and didn’t want to take it off! Based on this I will not go back to this location!

Here with a group a couple of times over the weekend. They have a good menu selection of apps and a good selection of beer. We stayed around for several hours on both a Friday and Saturday night after our events, and had great service and were not bothered by anyone. Good experience. Next time in the area we will be back.

Overall, not horrible. Not great. The service was average and the food was the same. I sat at the bar, so there was no wait. I didn’t even order a drink before one bartender asked for a card to «start a tab.» She walked away before I could pull my wallet out and another bartender collected it from me. I got my order in and everything went pretty smooth from there. The only time someone checked on me was when I was clearly on the phone with a client, annoying, but not horrible. The chili was amazing. The burger, average and not cooked correctly. The Tator tots were crispy and delicious, although I was never offered ketchup or anything to dip them in, come to think of it, I was never given silver wear either. I’ll come back to drink, but probably not to eat.

This is a really nice WOB location. It has huge inside and outside areas with fire pits. They have a solid rotating draft and bottle beer list plus liquor. This location also has food but it looks like standard bar fare and I didn’t order anything. I would definitely come back for drinks when going out with a large group.

Oh man this world of beers location is huge. It might the biggest location around. Very conveniently located in the heart of the University of South Florida area almost right across the street from the University mall. According to the waitress, WOB carries 522 bottled craft beers and 40 draft beers. That’s a lot of beer. Atmosphere for a Monday was pretty chilled and relaxed and busy at all. Pretty good deal during happy hour for both drinks which runs until 7PM. I had two tuna tacos with a side kale salad with extra avocados and yummy taco sauce. So really I’m giving this world of beer location 3.5 stars because service was below average and not very good. Everything took too long to come and my table and I was constantly requesting for the basics, such as napkin, utensils, and water. Our waitress was more pre-occupied with friends in other table then to serve us. With it being a Monday and very slow night, our service shouldn’t of been so slow. Workers focus more doing there job than hanging out with friends. I would love to come here on another livelier day.

Looking for a later night spot in town to have a beer & some food while on business trip, thought I would try this large attractive place. Walked into & location which had a decent amount of people, walked towards a spot that look to be l some type of hostess stand, a round barrel w/menu etc, but no hostess? Saw the staff & manager huddled around waiter station 20ft in front of me, but no one ever came over to seat me? I walked over towards them to try to make eye contact or acknowledgement of new customer present, but nothing, so I did a quick lap around the place, & left onward to their competition across the street. If World of Beers, investors doesn’t look into the staffing & management inattentive ways, they will become World of Tears.

I’m happy to have a new lunch/happy hour option so near to my office. This World of Beer has a large, attractive setting with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating(and very nice, clean bathrooms, I might add!). I’ve eaten lunch here twice, and both times I found the service to be excellent(our servers were attentive and very personable) and the food to be very good. On our first visit I ordered the WOB Wedge Salad, which was very good(not my favorite, but still pretty good), and my second visit I had the Beer-Battered Shrimp Tacos with Sriracha Lime Aioli, which were fantastic(I am partial to tacos, I have a particular fondness for seasoned meat/seafood, veggies and fantastic sauces wrapped in a corn tortilla). My companion had the french onion soup and the Spring Greens and Kale Salad, which he said were both very good. We shared steak fries, which also really good. The lunch menu prices are very reasonable, and of course, there is a large selection of beer and mixed drinks as well. Looking forward to returning with coworkers for happy hour!

It’s always a fun time at a WOB. I liked the inside and outside. A variety of tables to choose from, booths, high tops and regular tables. The outside had a fire place which is perfect for those rare chilly(but always loved) nights in the sunshine state! All WOB will let you try any beer on their list. I went a different route and tried one of the liquor drinks due to it being happy hour(after 10pm). It was a strawberry something and woo was it strong!

Visited on Friday 11⁄20 for the release of Dogfish 120(and to have several other Dogfish and Funky Buddha beers during a collaboration week). The parking was rather tight, but the bar wasn’t unreasonably packed. The China Buffett is closed next door and my friend jokingly said she had to park in «China». Wait staff handled volume well and I was served almost immediately. Prices were higher than expected, but the bartenders were very willing to allow samples before committing to a pricey draft selection. Food was good and served pretty quickly. Bathrooms were clean, seating was plentiful and the crowd was diverse. I will be back to this location! It is located on the corner of Bruce B Downs and Fowler(next to CVS and across from the mall). Good selection of beer so far!

This my favorite WoB I’ve been to yet! The best part? The place! It’s so much bigger and more open than any of the other WoBs in the area. Another awesome aspect? They serve food! Not just typical pub fare just used for soaking up alcohol, either, but actual, palatable edibles. Of course, as always, their beer selection is fairly extensive. I was actually expecting a bit more from the drafts, but I guess it’s my fault that I’ve tried most of them already. However, once I started going through the bottle list? Man oh man! So many new beers to try. Here’s a fun tidbit. You can also take bottles home from WoB at a discount. I don’t quite remember how much % off it is, but it’s definitely worth it as a lot of these I haven’t even seen in the stores around here.

WOB was recommended to me by a friend and after seeing reviews and pictures on Unilocal,I had to come experience it for myself. Let me say this, any place that has a «Flight of beer» as an option on the drink menu usually has the best wide and awesome selection of non-typical beers. That’s usually what I start off with to see what I feel like having for the night. On this visit I had a variety of IPA beers. Each one was good in its on light but I ended ordering the Sensi IPA as the choice of drink for the night. I wasn’t really hungry but me and my friend ordered the nachos. It didn’t take long for them to come out. I was happy to see the chips weren’t soggy and it wasn’t overly loaded. The one thing that got me about them was the fresh, let me say it again, fresh jalapeños that lite my mouth on fire. Lol! I had to scrape some off to the side of the chips. But I was happy and enjoyed the nachos. The atmosphere of the indoor and outdoor area were nice. I opted to sit outside since the weather was nice. Seats in the outside area were comfortable and the sitting areas were clean. I’m definitely going to visit WOB when I come back in town. There is so much more I think I need to try/experience of this place.

WOB has fair happy hour deals for both drinks and food throughout the week. Great for spontaneous get togethers with friends to hang out, inside or outside. Be prepared for long waits and servers missing you to take your order if you come with a large party, which is understandable. Otherwise, food and drink come pretty timely according to how busy the night is. The food is decent and the drinks I’ve gotten have not disappointed me.

THEGOOD: Decent tap list with at least a smattering of local(Cigar City, Angry Chair) with good happy hour pricing. Very nice interior and patio since everything is new. Enthusiastic service(which may be good or bad depending). Large menu so lots to choose from, music, lighting, noise levels were all on-point. THEBAD: Wine was very limited and mostly undrinkable stuff in the $ 6 – 7 grocery store range. «Craft» cocktails were just cocktails with some misleading descriptions(welcome to almost everywhere that claims craft cocktails). At $ 13 bucks, burger meat was average, bun was run-of-the-mill Sysco-type and fries were pre-cut frozen & re-heated. Very little flavor involved but once-again over-inflated and misleading descriptions on most of the food. Beef-O-Bradys type food quality and I was hoping for better considering all of the co-opted menu terminology.
