I joined Fit Method after suffering back pain thanks in part to another group fitness program I’d been attending. I wanted small classes, more hands-on guidance, and exercises I could adjust to accommodate my back issues. Fit Method’s quick-paced circuit training format really appealed to me since my goals are to increase strength and change my body composition. Plus, the small class sizes(usually around 4 people) meant the trainer would be able to keep a close eye on me. My initial meeting was with the owner JT, where he walked me through a presentation on their approach to fitness, nutrition, and some results their clients have seen. I was given nutrition guidelines to follow for my first 90 days, and had my weight and BMI measured. After my first class, I was definitely a little concerned if it was too much for me(my mistake since I decided to go to leg day!). I really struggled through it and I was sore for a week afterward. But after a few more classes, my body started keeping up with the workouts. If you stick to the plan, you see results fast. I’ve seen noticeable progress in my fitness in just under a month. The work outs are tough and pack a lot into 45 minutes. You do three sets of three circuits, and typically there are 4 exercises in a circuit. I’m usually drenched in sweat after the first circuit. :) You focus on different muscle groups on certain days of the week, while other days are full body work outs. The trainers are fantastic. They don’t do boot camp style yelling, but rather positive but firm encouragement that I respond really well to. They do a good job adjusting the workouts to my ability, while still pushing me. I’ve never felt pressure to do anything beyond my fitness level. The members are great, too. A lot of the people who come here are very fit. While this may normally be intimidating to a beginner, everyone has been so welcoming to me as a new member. It’s a very supportive atmosphere, not competitive. Some other perks: — Every class is different, you aren’t doing the same circuits each week — MindBody app that lets you easily book classes — Nice, clean facility with a wide variety of equipment — Private Facebook group for members to see the weekly workouts and get support — Free stretch classes several days a week There are several different packages available at different price points. I feel like for what I pay, I’m getting a ton of value between the classes, support, and nutrition plan.

Circuit training in a very small setting at it’s best! This is my new workout, I love it. Effective, challenging, and consistent– FIT4:13 gets you were you want to be. In order to get the«full body» experience, FIT4:13’s method targets and focuses on different parts of the body– ie: Wednesday is Leg Day. The facility is really nice, they make great use of a smaller space for classes of 8 or less. No gimmicks or tricks here. I enjoy coming in, love the people(both the coaches & fellow classmates), and the support for a healthy lifestyle is incredibly helpful. I’m super awkward and not very athletic. They are constantly directing me which I desperately need and ask for. I also really love that I can use the MindBody app and register for classes easily. This is the best thing I’ve found in a long time :)

FIT Method has completely changed the way I feel about working out at a smaller gym and with a personal trainer. FIT Method offers small group, fast paced circuit training(typically 6 people max). In addition they also do other classes like hip hop yoga, HIT(high intensity training) cardio and boot camp classes. FIT Method is a small space but every inch is utilized to maximum training, there is a knotted rope hanging from the ceiling, TRX on the walls and have this fancy bar system set up for pull ups and places for olympic bars. I think they best thing I love about FIT Method are the trainer and the people I work out with, this is the reason why I have decided to stay, regardless of the fact that its more expensive than a regular gym. The trainers truly care about each person who works out at the gym, it’s never just about the workout. The trainers are invested in everyone’s overall health, nutrition and what’s going on in their lives at the moment. One day I missed class because I was stuck at work late and I got a text from one of the trainers making sure I was ok. At Christmas and my birthday I got a personal handwritten card from the trainers. These types of things make FIT Method more than just a gym to me, it really feels like a part of my family. All of the people who work out at FIT Method are super supportive, fun and friendly. When I first started working out there I was super worried that I would feel judged because I wasn’t fit as everyone and didn’t know how to do all the workouts. I have never felt that way at all. Everyone has started at the bottom and are truly cheerleaders for all the members. FIT Method also has a private group Facebook where everyone posts fun things going on, good recipes or just motivational posts. On to the results, when I first started I couldn’t do a burpe or a sit up, now I can. I feel stronger since starting at FIT Method and have seen really good results when sticking to the diet plans laid out by the trainers. This is a great place for anyone who wants a quick workout that packs a big punch, its also a great place if you are looking for a place to meet friends who enjoy an active lifestyle. I highly recommend anyone with a slight interest to contact the awesome owner JT and come try a workout for free. Let me know what you think!
