I cannot say enough about this place. What a wonderful experience. Dined alone but they never treated me like a party of one. Had a gorgeous table right by the window so I got to see the sunset and then the boats at night. Started with a bottle of Masi Amarone(love this wine) and they brought out some bread and breadsticks. For an appetizer they had an antipasto but for two. I asked if I could get it just for one, of course, no problem! Good stuff too, nicely done assortment of meats cheeses and olives. Dinner, I could not decide between the lemon basil tagliatalle Bolognese or the scallops with pork belly and pancetta polenta. When I told that to the waiter he stated” ahh. hold I’ve got you covered” and left with the menu. Hmmm. Said wonderful waiter ED opted to bring me a half portion of each! NEVER have I had such a terrific server make such a brilliant decision and please all sides of my palates. For dessert, torn again, the torte or the pistachio gelato, again handled, torte with a scoop of gelato. Total price with my expensive wine, $ 205. I like! OMG, I was in absolute heaven. This place doesn’t have a lot of reviews but wow, what a hidden gem. The décor is old school, thing grandmothers formal dining room enlarged, but hey, I like old school, LOVE old school. Great wine list, delicious food, wonderful service and lovely views. Mañana the chef was brought to my table because I was raving about the good, she’s a gem! Create little girl she is. This establishment is lucky to have both Ed and her onstaff. I’m already planning a tri pback.

We came here for Valentine’s Day. They had a «special» prix fixe menu. It was $ 75 for five courses. We started with a diver scallop poached in prosecco. It was good. Then there was an excellent lobster bisque with a lemon chive crema. Phenomenal. Salads were blah. My husband had the lobster fra diavolo, and it was fine. I had the osso bucco, and it tasted like soap. The saffron risotto was sticky, not creamy. I couldn’t eat ¼ of it. Dessert was a trio of a cannelloni, panna cotta and a little chocolate dessert. I liked the panna cotta, my husband liked the chocolate, and we both felt the cannelloni had too much burnt orange taste to it. The setting is dated, although the view is lovely. Staff is nice but nothing like a top restaurant. The wine list was good, we enjoyed a lovely red from Château St. Michele. I probably wouldn’t return.

If you want classic northern Italian food with a high end up scale atmosphere, this is your place! I dined there a few nights ago and had a wonderful experience. They have an impressive wine list. The appetizers were tasty, I recommend the calimari. ours was cooked perfectly! Our main course was delicious also. I had the fennel dusted scallops while my friend had a HOMEMADE pasta dish. The service was impeccable. Staff was warm and timely. The lighting and ambiance is intimate, leaving a bit of space from table to table. While it is a little pricey,(overall) it is well worth it!

Gorgeous atmosphere, really good service. The bread is excellent, but my pizza was bland-actually had to put some salt on it. My husband has clams and homemade pasta, which was much better.

When I was a kid, I thought all dogs were male and all cats were female. I know, it was stupid, but that is just what I thought. I now think the same about vegetarians. I just can’t take a male vegetarian seriously. Anyways, I digress. I loved my steak at this place and the calamari appetizers were damned delicious. Not sure why you would go to Tampa, but if you do, try to eat here. Penne.
