Terrible service. We waited over 30 minutes for five slices of pepperoni before we asked for our money back. Will not be returning.

This is very similar to its Deck predecessor. One of the few places that offer slices. We tried meatball and sausage grinders and pepperoni knots. All were very good but took a while because the single cook did everything but look pretty… which was the main duty of the young server. Also they are offering a 50% off first order so it is a real deal if you are not in a hurry.

I’m actually really confused about some of the poorer reviews… our pizza was delicious!!! and all the employees have been super friendly! We did come at 7pm on a Thursday, so maybe the late nite pizza/service isn’t as good? The crust was thin, crispy, and yummy. We’ll definitely be back!

Ventured here after hitting up a bar in SoHo and was walking on the way home. I’m a huge fan of late night pizza with my favorite places being in DC and NY. Obviously, it’s not gonna be a close comparison. It was busy because of the exodus of people from the bars on a Friday night. I did like being able to eat on the porch/outside eating area while people watching and the fact that it was in the way home but that was about it. The service was slow and the pizza was mediocre at best. We got a pepperoni and sausage pizza to share amongst ourselves and by the time we got served, I could have walked home, showered, brushed my teeth, and watch an episode of House of Cards Netflix. Well, maybe not a full episode but the wait was unbelievably loooooongggggg. The pizza itself was average and I was completely sober. Maybe if I had more than 1 beer then I would have been impressed. I enjoy pizza with a slightly crisp crust/dough and cheese that just stretches out when you take a bite. The pizza was not as crisp as I would like(I’m probably nit-picking) and it didn’t have that«taste» I was looking for in a late night pizza. Maybe the pizza would better during lunch hours and the wait time as well. I guess my tip would be to go to Publix and buy a box of Elio’s pizza for your late night cravings rather then going here.

Hands down, best pizza in Tampa!!! Ingredients are fresh and made to order. I had the prosciutto and arugula pizza and it came out piping hot, which is the first thing I look for. Great customer service as well!!! If you are looking for fresh handmade pizza, Platts is the place for you.

Been here two times and both times we waited over an hour for slices of pizza. Told by waiter both times that they had a lot of orders. Pizza was awful and soggy. Literally could not eat it!

Two visits and on both occasion the wait for our food was absurd. An hour and thirty minutes for slices of pizza. Pizza was then soggy and sub par.

Just tried PPP for the first time, as I had a Living Social deal which saved me $ 10. Unfortunately, I wish I had spent the extra $ 10 at Gourmet Pizza Co., or Sally O’ Neals. The pizza dough was stretched so thin, there were a few holes in our pie, and they use FROZEN spinach. What??? Their slogan says«Best Pizza in SOHO»…uhhh…well, since they stay open til 3am on weekends, they should change the slogan to, «Best Pizza in SOHO after Midnight because you’re drunk or stoned and no else is open!»

The worst pizza in SOHO. Our appetizer came out 10 minutes after our pizza. Plus appetizer was not good. We won’t be going here again.

Pizza is one of those things you eat when its good and eat when its bad. My draft had a lot of head. The pizza was a soggy mess in the middle. The two cooks gloved up after the manager came in. The place needed a good cleaning behind the counter and in the dining area. A small business where there is no owner/manager until well after open is going to close. This place was mediocre. It wasn’t great, but I have had worse. The food was nothing to get excited about or makes me want to return. This was downvoted because of the danger zone.

I thought this was going to be similar to the deck’s pizza… but was wrong. This pizza tasted like it came out of a box from my freezer. Crust was dry, tasted like cardboard, sauce was on the sweet side, and cheese on top was crusty instead of melted and fresh. Awful.

Delicious food. Way better pizza than the previous owners. We had the white lightening and a Cesar salad. Both were very tasty. Not much seating but the place is open and airy and has a nice patio. Overall very nice and we will come back again. Service was great!

Poor quality of food for the price. Had the sweet chili wings and the gluten free steak and onion flatbread. Both were very cheaply made and tasted very bad. Atmosphere and location were good and would probably stop for a slice of $ 3 cheese pizza if I was walking home drunk. Otherwise would not go back for dinner.

Solid pizza, a bit heavy on the cheese but that’s an easy fix. Good, non-greasy crust. Great service. The beer was limited, but cold and reasonably priced. The patio is great and is well suited for a great winter season and watching games. We’ll be back for sure.

Neat new place right off Howard. Not just pizza and beer. The menu is much more than you would expect. Several games on flat screen TV’s. Great outdoor seating area. Perfect for families and football watching.

The worst pizza I have ever had. Worse than cafeteria pizza in third grade. Frozen pizza from Kmart would have been tastier. The flavor of the sauce was acidic and bland. The cheese was cheap. Very poor quality of ingredients and no culinary vision here. They could not pay me to eat here again. I ordered two slices of cheese pizza that they grabbed out of a cardboard box. God knows how long those slices were sitting there.

Upon walking in last night, I was greeted by 2 friendly gentlemen at the counter. No menu was available, but they said they could whip up any pizza combination. Interesting style. The counter was cluttered with dish rags, remote controls, wires, a screwdriver and a paper plate containing a half-eaten slice of pizza. Sticking out of the walls in various spots were electrical wires. The place a wreck, and just didn’t seem ready to be open. As for the food, it was alright. I got an 18″ pie with green peppers, onions and Italian sausage. I really liked the crust and sauce, but the cheap cheese and frozen Italian sausage pellets(like the kind the chains use) just lowered the pizza’s integrity. And for the hefty price tag of $ 22, I just can’t see returning.

Good pizza! I ordered 2 slices of the pepperoni… and it’s not what this calorie conscious chick is used to but I ate it; and I will eat it again. My favorite part happened to be the crispy, crunchy bottom and crust. I’m used to a thinner pizza but with this friendly crew at the helm, I’m like a moth to a flame. Checkout my picture for a peek at this warm gooey goodness– but don’t eat too much, keep it tight Tampa!
