I’ve been to this place a few times for lunch since I work really close to it & while I’m not a huge fan of fast pizza, I truly enjoy the offerings here. We also order here for work every once in a while. They have a lunch special where you can get a drink with 2 slices of pizza. The last time I went there, I tried their Grandma Pie, which is to die for. The crust is perfectly crispy and the pizza has basil which I absolutely love! I’ve also tried their Buffalo Chicken, Philly Cheesesteak & Margherita pizzas & once again, they have the perfect amount of crispness on the crust and great flavor and toppings, especially with the addition of red pepper flakes & Parmesan cheese. They do also have a location in Ybor which is perfect after a night out. Only thing I wish was different was if they had an indoor seating area for this location and it was a little cleaner. Otherwise, must try pizza!

I was born and raised in Brooklyn, Gravesend, NY. Came to Tampa for work. I have eaten all sorts of pizza from the unreal good to the gross. I have tried to steer away from the gross. Unfortunately, I didn’t do a good enough job. My coworkers raved about this place. That was the first clue. This joint is no better than Pizza/Fried Chicken/Gyro joint’s that litter the hood in NYC. The first and foremost clue is the abundance of salt and oil. Cheap mozzarella cheese is load with salt and oil. I felt like I was licking a salt block, and just got finished changing the oil in my car. No amount of napkins could absorb all that oil. We ordered a meat-lovers pie, and a margarita. Meat-lovers had about three slices of pepperoni, half a meatball, and a couple of pink-nail size pieces of bacon. The margarita was a total joke. A real margarita has but slices of fresh-mozzeralla, slices of plum tomato or sauce, and basil. This was a regular pizza with about 10 little pieces of chopped tomato(same pink nail size as the bacon pieces), and maybe a leaf of basil chopped up. Do not believe the reviews of this joint. If you have no idea what good pizza is, or you’re drunk and need food then go here. Otherwise go to Eddy & Sam’s NY Pizza, because that joint is legit.

Visited for late night pizza. The pizza was bland flour and cheese — good enough for after hour snack

Delicious pizza, fast delivery, good prices and customer service. Wish I would’ve found this place sooner! I had the Margherita Pizza, def recommend! The garlic knots had a bit of a bite to them so I won’t get those again but the pizza was excellent.

I heard this was a really good pizza spot but apparently that’s NOT the case!!! Extremely Prejudice… a worker became irate once he discovered I was recording him! He over charged me for a pepperoni! Also like usual when I asked for his name there was a bogus name. He snatched my phone out of my hand. I informed him that it has Find my iPhone… I later discovered it in a police officer’s hand! What a shocker… NOT! I will never spend my money here again! I was informed by the officer that he was a Romanian and could refuse the right to anyone he chose!.. maybe because I had dark brown skin.,.I’m highly disappointed in the TampaPD AS well as his establishment! I urge anyone of color not to frequent!

I was visiting Tampa from Miami and after a long day at Busch Gardens we decided to order in. We ordered an xtra large pizza, half cheese and half pepperoni. We also ordered a dozen garlic knots. We devoured the whole pie and mind you, the slices we pretty big. It was very delicious. The perfect amount of sauce and it also tasted homemade. The garlic knots were amazing as well. I wish they had one in Miami, I’d order from here a lot. Lol. The only negative, I’d have to say is, the food come a little cold even though that didn’t stop us at all. It would’ve been even better if it arrived at least warm.

Perfect. Spot on New York style pasta dinner with side salad and bread. The meatballs were perfect, sauce was delicious, and the spaghetti reminded me of New York street food. They are affordable, detail oriented, and a great place to get Italian food.

If you’re craving some New York, street slice pizza — here ya go! They are friendly over the phone, delivery is always pretty fast(30 – 45 minutes) and the prices are cheap! The pizza is exactly like they say… the foldable, New York style thinner crust that is still very soft. This is not the fancy thin crust that’s wood fired nor is it deep dish. Go elsewhere for that! They’ve never messed up an order and my husband and I usually do half and half.

I like coming here and getting a large slice of pizza for about $ 3. I usually get the white pizza with spinach, garlic, fresh tomato, mozzarella and ricotta and one piece fills me up just fine. The slice is nice and foldable like it should be and perfectly crisp. There’s not much room to dine in except for a small table or two outside, so I just get mine to go usually. The staff are very friendly. Excellent pizza for the price.

Sometimes, pizza is just good. Not great. Not«the best.» It is simply good. This is a perfect example of that. Obviously, this local chain is doing well as they appear to be opening a sixth location on North Dale Mabry near Golfer’s Grail. I’ve only had pizza from the South Howard spot, including most recently on takeout for watching playoff football while the rest of the Unilocal Elites were at «Prom» otherwise known as The Unilocalies. Considering this pizza was picked up and endorsed by someone I know originally from New Jersey, I respect that it is considered authentic to that geographical demographic. However, as some of the reviews here will prove, drunks in South Tampa only give five stars or one to anything. There is no middle ground for them to fall in… literally. When people are hammered, have paid $ 10 to park there anyway and this store is conveniently selling pies and by the slice, it takes on a rather skewed perspective. So consider this pizza much like that girl or guy at last call who suddenly looks fantastic. Although there is one obvious difference: When you take this pizza home, it still looks pretty good the next morning.

Pizza company too busy to trust. Sometimes delivery on time and quality good, but now more than often deliver 90 minutes, pizza cold like lift out all night pizza. Manager Julian unwilling to make it right, too busy to care, no refund or reduction in price. He won’t even return your call, you must track him down. Advice, find a pizza delivery that has customer service and pride in delivering a quality fresh product. Only thing New York here is the attitude. Keep it!

Very tasty New York style pizza for delivery or in hizzouse. They do it by the slice or pie. Small place with a couple tables inside and a couple more outside. I tried the florentine and it was pretty tasty. Happy to have this place close by. The prices are quite fair, $ 2.50 or so a slice I think and $ 3 or so for the fancy stuff. I think they also do a lunch special for a slice or two and a beverage. Nothing fancy, and more a place for quick bite or takeout than a relaxed dinner, but good pizza and the people were helpful and friendly. So if you’re thinking about hitting on of those nasty chains, fughedaboutit. Go here instead and get some of the good stuff.

This place is the bomb! We had their Florentine pizza and added sausage. Got an order of garlic knots as well. Hands down in my top 3 favorite pizza places in South Tampa. Got the order«Carry Out» and it was ready in 15 minutes… The guys were very friendly and they will def be getting repeat business from me! Ignore the bad reviews on here… this place ROCKS!

Was visiting from out of town and had a craving for pizza. The service was fast and friendly. I ordered a slice of the Meat Lovers and a couple of garlic nots. The slice was good NYC style and the portion was big. The garlic nots were OK and they could have been helped with chunks of diced garlic. The only draw back was the parking. On weekends the buildng owner rents out spaces to the local bars. Dont give up looking for a spot. The food is worth the hassle

4 am. Bachelorette party. 7 drunk girls. Desperately needing something to soak up the alcohol. Enter: New York New York Pizza. I would like to officially thank the cab driver for recommending this, you’re the real MVP. When I say I don’t think I could have survived the 24 hours following our outing without these 3 pizzas, I am not exaggerating in the slightest. Not to mention the white pizza we ordered was one of the best pizzas I have had in a very long time. We ate almost all of the 3 pizzas. And a couple pieces for breakfast. The person who answered thankfully handled us very well and didn’t seem to mind the constant yelling in the background. Thank you for that. If I am in Tampa and in need of pizza, This is the place I will call. Every time.

I’ve been here many many times over the past several years and I’m a fan. I am a New Yorker myself, raised near Manhattan and I know what good pizza should be. I could not give this 4 stars because… NY pizza just can’t be replicated. Eddie and Sam’s downtown is around the same quality although they claim to use imported NY water(I’m skeptical). This New York New York is located in a strip mall on Howard across from The Lodge. As many other Unilocalers have mentioned, I too have been here after a long period of Soho drinking. I’ve also had it many sober times as well. They have a good variety of pizza toppings and other menu offerings. I’ve had the cheese, pepperoni and florentine. All tasty and pretty consistent quality. They also have garlic knots which are hard to find at most generic pizza places in the area, but they are somewhat pricey at $ 4 for 6 knots. Large specialty pies are $ 17 while regular cheese is $ 12. They do not serve alcohol and there is not really anywhere to sit(a few bistro tables outside). They are open into the AM hours every night, including Sundays. Delivery can be very slow during busy hours and they have run out of certain single slices early in the evenings on Fridays and Saturdays. But overall, I would recommend this place to friends and I know I’ll be back in the future.
