I’ve been here 3 times now. Won’t come back. Shame because we were exited to have another option than vallartas, but the service was lackluster and the food sent back on 2 of the 3 visits. I spoke to the manager and all he did was apologize and took the chips off my bill. I wasn’t even going to post comments on here but after reading the comments from Dewayne in response to some of the other customers bad experiences, I had to say my piece.

My husband and I tried out lunch here. He got beef chimichanga and I got the pick 2 taco-enchilada. Our food was fresh, wait staff was pleasant and despite early on reviewers found the overall experience pretty good. They must have gotten the kinks worked out. We will definitely come back. Only negative was he street corn my husband got was messy and they gave now cob holders.

Came here on a weekday evening with the family and had an awful experience. We have been here a few times before and had decent service. Today we experienced extremely slow service and orders that were made incorrectly and had a waitress that was not well informed about the dishes the restaurant serves. Many of the vegetarian diners in our group received meat in their meals. We also ordered tableside fresh guacamole and the guac was bland and nothing but mashed avocado. We ended up ordering a second one and asked the waitress to add jalapeños and other ingredients, even then all mediocre. The most absurd part was that our server left making the guacamole midway to go get the drinks that she had forgotten about. As a last resort this has potential to be a decent hang out spot, head for the bar and grab drinks and apps. Beyond that, you’re in for terrible food and even more terrible service.

Just updating as someone involved in this business thought it was a good idea to comment on my review. The only thing he had to say was that apparently they dont charge for chips and salsa any more. Other than that he didnt dispute the rest of my review… so your standard Mexi-app will be free but the entrees still wont be good. Like I said before, have some margaritas and then fill your belly.

We were reluctant to order food after reading the reviews. However I have to say it wasn’t a bad experience but not overwhelmingly great either. This would be a fun, well priced happy hour spot. We found the service to be exceptional and our waiter was extremely attentive and accommodating. We ordered the chicken/beef fajitas which were very good and carnitas which were okay, the pork was bland. The waiter was kinda enough to bring me a side of Verde and sour cream(up charge but worth it!). The carnitas came with a half of an avocado sliced — fantastic! Good chips and salsa.

I am one of those folks who loves to eat out. Spicy food is my favorite. I really enjoy a well prepared Mexican meal, and Señor Ts failed completely. The food that came out was room temperature and that was after a 50 minute wait. Worse yet, the food was as bland as bland could be. I don’t know how they did it but they even managed to extract the natural flavors the food has. The refried beans were completely flavorless. To top it all of, despite the crazy wait, we were given glasses slightly larger than shot glasses for our water. It is not like they provide you with chips or anything at the table to whet your appetite(you have to pay for them here), but to provide such small water glasses too… simply terrible. One thing I can be sure of, is I will never, ever return to this place again. Especially with so many other good options in the area.

The best thing about this place was their house margarita. We ate dinner there last night at 8 pm. The first thing I noticed was how empty it was for a Friday night. Now I know why. Our waiter was nice enough but REALLY slow. He mentioned how there is usually a Mariachi band but he doesn’t know why they weren’t there that night. The food service was slow and the food was ok not good. On the menu they show a jalapeño ranch, a cilantro ranch and an avocado ranch, none of which they could seem to find initially because someone came to our table to tell us this. They eventually found the jalapeño ranch. I asked for avocado on my salad and they told me they couldn’t find one that wasn’t hard so they gave me that. That made me question what they’re using for tableside guac… We went at least 25 minutes between placing our order and seeing our server again, despite the fact the restaurant was about 1⁄3 full. Overall not a great experience. The manager did give us Señor T bucks which I might consider using for another margarita since our server was so slow I never got a chance to order another one.

I think the large amount of negative reviews on here stem from this place just opening; I noticed that the majority of the reviews were written in the first few weeks of Señor T’s opening their doors. They were still working out the kinks. Now that they have been around for a few months, they appeared to be a well-oiled machine! The service was decent and we were seated immediately upon arrival. The food was delicious and it was served 15 minutes after our placing our orders! The margaritas were amazing for the price. We will absolutely be going back!

From the start… very nice staff. We were greeted at the table in a timely manner. Think the waitress was Judy. We were on the patio. 2nd…chips and salsa… chips were nice and warm and salsa had a fresh tomato taste which we loved. My guy is very picky and he loved it. 3rd…frozen passion fruit margarita. Yum. They loaded my glass up. Sugar on the rim. No alcohol taste jist the taste of fruit. 4th…one big old grande grande burrito that we split. It was ginormous! We were so pleased. The patio had a great atmosphere. We told our waitress this is going to be our new monthly stop.

Just not what we were expecting. The service was on point. Our server was knowledgeable about the menu. We had the table side fresh guacamole which was the highlight of our meal it needed more seasoning but was a hearty portion. The salsa is fresh and has plenty of flavor. The chips were average at best. I had a the tacos which had a burnt grease flavor to them. The cilantro rice was bland. My wife had a burrito which came with refried beans in it even though that wasn’t listed on the menu. $ 48 for two adults and a kids meal without alcohol was way over priced for the quality of food we received.

Good food, close to home, awesome staff. Great for lightning games!!! Wednesdays are great for fajita-rita night. Saturdays can get busy but the food has always been fast.

Went on a Saturday night and was surprised by how dead it was! We sat on the patio, which was a nice atmosphere and not too loud despite the live music. Started with chips/salsa and ordered the white queso, which had good flavor, although the flour tortillas served with it weren’t warm. We had fajitas and carnitas, both of which had good flavor. The churro beans and the refried beans were just so-so … Kind of bland. The apple dessert was good, as well, but a small size. While the food was okay, the service was sorely lacking. First the server came to our table every two minutes while we were trying to decide what to order, then she disappeared. She dropped off our queso without the tortillas and we had to track her down to ask for them. We had asked for no pico on the fajita setup, yet there it was. When she dropped off our check, she did so without saying a word and just walked away … Never asked if we wanted dessert or anything … So then it took 10 minutes for her to come back and we had to ask for the dessert menu and wait a bit more. I’d try it again, but if the service remained the same that would be the last time …

What an excellent experience we had. Our food was beyond delicious, service was exceptional and we will definitely be back! I loved my taco flatbread and my husband highly enjoyed his chicken burrito. Our waitress Deja was awesome! So friendly and knowledgeable on the menu items. If you looking for a great restaurant, this is the place!

Came here around 830pm on a Wednesday. The place was dead. Completely empty. Except for staff. When we walked in a waitress playfully swung on a handrail — this should’ve been my first indication. I ordered the Chimi de Pollo and Sangria, my boyfriend ordered the Tacos de Pollo and the house margarita. The food was mediocre. Tasted the same as a Frozen meal would have. I liked the bill — less than $ 40.

I was so excited to have this place open two lights down from my house – who doesn’t love margaritas within biking distance? Now let’s not be silly, I’m not going to bike here, but I like having the option! As much as I wanted to first go during the first month of its opening, I never did as I saw some negative reviews and wanted the place to sort its self out first. But to this day, after I’ve had officially 10 visits here and all 5 star experiences, this place continues to get negative reviews? When I first came, they only offered chips & salsa free at the bar during happy hour, but I have come in at all times and have always gotten free bottomless chips & salsa at the bar. I’ve only ever sat at the bar, as they have awesome bartenders(Celina is the best!), tvs with updated channels, fun people watching, and delicious drinks – my favorite is the house margarita hold the powdered sugar(but if you’re into a delicious, ever-so-addicting, sweet margarita – keep the sugar!). Second favorite: Jalepeno margita. Third: Pitcher of sangria, just the glass is no fun :) The chips & salsa come with a house made salsa which is mild, but I like spicy, so I’ve asked for spicy salsa and sure enough they have some«in the back» that they always willingly go grab for me. Love some fresh jalepeno! My go-to dinner is the fajitas for two(with my hubby). We’ve also had the burrito and pork tacos. The food has always come out perfect, and so much we always have to get a box. We’re usually hesitant to order steak at a Mexican restaurant because it’s usually chewey, but not here! They have a large outdoor seating area for dining with tv’s, fans, and heaters. So far, I’ve seen the bar staff wait out there. The bathroom is always clean, and some nights they have an awesome live band walking around! What I love about Señor T’s is that they have a rewards program – what better way to make your customers come back than to give them free money?! All you have to do is give them your name, phone number, and email address to sign up. I’ve never received a call or text, but yesterday I got my first email«Thank you for being a valuable customer and visiting frequently, come enjoy a free cup of queso :)». Um, okay! So visit #10 was great, and the manager visited with us to tell us she appreciated our business. Now that’s customer service! I wish we had signed up our first visit and not forgot to give our phone number another visit because we already redeemed $ 30 and it could have been more! Thanks Señor T’s for being our little local bar, our weekly cheat, and always having us leave smiling.(:

We had a great time Señor T’s tonight. It is TacoTuesday so we ordered 4 tacos each, with choice of meat, refried or Rancho beans, and choice of Mexican or cilantro rice for $ 6.99 each! It was a ton of food, even for my appetite. I wasn’t even hungry but I devoured all of it. I also ordered a Sexy Margarita which hit the spot. We sat at the bar, and Selina, the lady at the bar was on point. She had our drinks and food ready with the quickness and was very personable. She took the time to customize our orders and got me two soft and two hard tacos, with one chicken and one beef each. She also gave us a little bit of queso dip just because she loves it. Thank you nice bartender lady, we will be back next Tuesday to eat more tacos and drink more tequila!

I’m excited to finally find my favorite Mexican Food in Florida! I moved to Florida 4 years ago from the Dallas/Fort Worth area and have been spoiled when it comes to TexMex! I ordered the beef Fajitas and they were superbley-tender-tasty(is that a word?)! And. .. what made my experience even better was the AWESOME mariachi band — not only did they play traditional Mexican music, but they played current pop songs with a mariachi twist and all dressed up in native costumes! Additionally. .. I have to tell you about the TEQUILAFLIGHTS —- you get 3 shots/tastings at great prices! I finally got to try the Don Julio silver, repasado and anjos — no lime or salt needed! Lastly, I heard they are about to start Taco Tuesday Specials, FajitaRita Wednesdays(Fajitas + the house Margarita) AND Karaōke! Then on Thursdays —— Tequila Flight Night! I’m just a little excited — can you tell?

Tried Señor T’s in New Tampa the other days with some colleagues from work. I never actually heard of this place until recently. They were super slow(it was a Monday afternoon when i went) They have quite a selection of food there. I ordered buffalo shrimp tacos with cilantro rice and red beans. They also had a happy hour 2 for 1 special on a some domestic beers. Everything tasted great and the price was right for generous portions. My group had 2 different servers helping us. Both were very polite, personable and attentive. Definitely recommend Señor T’s if you’re looking for something different in a sit down restaurant.

I have take out since I am late get home and my wife is away. I have opportunity to pick any restaurant I have no been to. Señor T’s is close by so I can try their food. Over the phone I have order the DrunkenGrille Shrimp. It is 10 grilled shrimp on the skew with cilantro rice, slice avocado and a choice of bean to accompany it. The lady who take my order said is 10 minutes to pick up. When I arrive, the food is ready. It is well presented in the box. So the next thing is to taste it. The food is great. Better than I imagined with the stars they got. I have joke with the lady when I pickup. I said her face is red that she got it from my «drunken» shrimp. I need make sure she did not eat my shrimp before hand to me. She was shock in the moment and don’t know to answer. I said I got her on speechless. The overall service to pick is on target. I event got a chip and salsa to go along. The salsa is great.
