Came for drinks enjoyed sat at the bar watched the cars game against warriors and really enjoyed myself late night and surprisingly wasn’t packed but I’m not complaining

Great food, great atmosphere, great location, great deals. $.75 cent wings on Mondays and $ 6 burgers on Tuesdays. Not to mention a great happy hour special with an electrifying environment.

We went there to drink, their cocktail was very good, strawberry sangria was very good, whiskey peach was super strong, but we liked it a lot. We also had a flatbread which was delicious

Very disappointing experience. Will not return.
Just wanted to grab a good pub burger, chill and watch the NHL playoffs on my birthday. Is that so much to ask?
Apparent, because it was not meant to be.
Let’s just talk about food…
Primebar’s signature burger was just «meh» — nothing to write home about — but, more importantly, the french fries were T-​E-​R-​R-​I-​B-​L-​E! Seriously, how do you screw up french fries?!?
At first, I thought that the kitchen just got way too carried away with the salt on the fries. The waitress offered to replace them. Quite some time passed, and I finished my mediocre burger only through the aid of ketchup while someone at the bar inexplicably decided to switch off the game I was watching in favor of old re-​runs. WTF?
Turns out the replacement fries went to another table. I should have thanked my lucky stars.
When they finally brought the second (third?) attempt at the french fries, they were still too gross to eat. I don’t know if they are just over-​seasoning them, or using bad cooking oil, or what’s going on, but I’m pretty tolerant of even so-​so fries, but these were inedible.
I just settled the check and left. Should have just gone to Five Guys instead. :-(

In all my years of visiting Wiregrass, this was my first visit to the Primebar. I met some friends here for brunch/​lunch over Memorial Day weekend and was pleasantly surprised by the ambiance and vibe of this restaurant/​bar. The drink selections were plentiful and even though I didn’t partake in an adult beverage, I did try a friend’s peach sangria and it was amazing. I just ordered a run of the mill quesadilla for a light lunch and it was pretty good. There were no complaints from any of the group on their food, and our server Jean Claude made our visit that much more memorable with his personal rapport that he built with our group.

Good drinks and eats. A little pricey for the quality and the wait staff will sometimes disappear on you once you get your food, but a really fun late night scene on nights where they have the DJ.

This use to be one of my fav places… Does this look like a full serving of Calamari to you?

Good place for a GNO or a double date.
I would never frequent here. I’m not a huge drinker and even with their $ 6 burgers, it’s not my favorite place.
However, happy hour has great appetizer specials and drink specials. Again, wouldn’t be my first choice. I have to be reminded of this place, or I would not go.
The staff is nice. The restaurant is clean. The food is tasty. The drinks are decent.

This is a great bar! They have so many beer options on tap! The bartenders are so friendly, especially Ilona and Alan! Love the vibe here and the outside patio! I would definitely recommend coming here for a drink!

This is my husband’s favorite place to hang out, especially on tuesday during the burger deal. It is hard to beat. There are good variety of drink and many TVs with different sports around. My husband’s sister accidentally told me that my husband took his ex here too and I gave him side eyes because this is the second time (he took us to the same beach).
Anyway, the burger is very good, I tried different ones but my fav is the fried egg burger, close second is the primebar burger. It is quite bright with a chilled and divey atmosphere to it.

This place was all around FANTASTIC! Food… service…ambiance…ALL of it! Had the hummus and mac n cheese. Deeeelicious! Highly recommend. This will be a «regular» on my list :)

3 stars is based on what I had as far as food, service and ambience. So yesterday while shopping my wife wanted to go here to eat. I’m always up to any place anytime [we’ve been here before for after hours] So to experience it during the day time [why not!!].
Wasn’t crowded yet! But you can tell as the sun was leaving us the people were coming in. We were seated right away. Which the AC unit wasn’t on so it was a bit warmer the usual [no biggie]. Happy Hour was still in effect so the Mrs. had a mixed drink and myself a beer. For food she had wings [lemon & jalapeño] our lil guy had Mac and cheese [Amazingly yummy] and myself pulled pork sliders [Yesssss!!] Our server was around and no problems with her nor with this establishment. But I can’t just give it 4 stars without trying their main entrées. So will revisit so I can revisit this review. Overall our experience during the day was great.

Wife: «So what do you feel like doing tonight?»
Hubby: «The Lightning are playing.»
W: «So you want to go to the game?»
H: «Nah. Drinks sound good though.»
W: «So you want to open that bottle of wine?»
H: «Nah. People watching sounds fun.»

H: «Yeaahhh!»
This place is always a great time – two bars to choose from depending on the weather. On a nice evening, it’s perfect to sit at the outside bar where the live band plays and you can people watch as Wiregrass customers walk by. The bartenders have all been great except one time when we were there pretty late at the indoor bar. We were on the left side while the guy bartender stayed around the corner on the right side cleaning and chatting. He didn’t pay attention to any of the people sitting at the bar – so it wasn’t just us. Sometimes you just get crappy service, but after all the times we’ve been there and had an ideal night, it’s not going to affect my rating. I love their happy hour deals and $ 5 appetizer options. The calamari and flatbreads are so good. Hubby enjoys the huge tap list, and they’re rarely out of anything. The tall dark haired guy bartender has hand stirred a couple Old Fashioneds for me, and they’re delicious! Definitely my drink of choice, otherwise if he isn’t there I get a random wine.
I like how they’ll switch up the channels for you to enjoy the game, and they have plenty of TV’s at different angles to watch. There is a large amount and variety of seating, from the bar, to high tops, booths, leather seating, community tables. If you’re single, this seems like a place where you would potentially meet a young professional or meet up with a date for happy hour. It’s a relaxed vibe with a classy appeal. Cheers!

The mixed drinks are good, but not very strong. The food is excellent though. I had a burger with a fried egg on top. I was surprised to see it arrive with two patties instead of just one. I had to take one out in order to get my mouth around this big bite burger. I couldn’t finish it, but I loved it.
Our server lacked experience but he tried hard and was friendly.
The atmosphere is very attractive and somewhat upscale, but still a sports bar with lots of TV’s. Big comfy chairs and wide open spaces made it a nice place to watch a game in a crowd without feeling crowded. And they are open late, which is a plus when you want dinner at 10pm.

I love coming here during the day and eating outside. It’s quite enough that if you need to do some work you won’t get bothered. It’s even nice when you just want to relax on the patio.

Unilocal says it best: «Meh. I’ve experienced better.» This is indeed the case. Wesley Chapel is a nice outdoor mall area in Tampa, Florida. I went to Primebar to catch a little basketball while eating some food and enjoying drinks on the patio.
The actual building is great. They have a lovely patio and there’s lots of space indoors. There’s also plenty of parking in the area. Our server was decent albeit a little slow but the niceties really end there. I ordered a glass of wine and was pretty grossed out when it had multiple lipstick stains on the glass. When I brought it to the attention of our server, it was quite a while before my glass was replaced. My friends were nearly done with their drinks by the time my new glass arrived.
I also ordered the banh mi and it was the worst I have ever had. The cucumbers on it were okay so I ate those but the shrimp were overfried and there was barely any sauce on it. The menu advertised that it had lobster but I did not see any on there. I left the restaurant pretty hungry.

The food here is so mediocre and over priced for the horrible quality. I came here once for dinner and will never be going back. My meal was not served hot and lacked flavor. I was really disappointed in this place.

Been back a few more times. And it’s just ok.
I have had a few great servers (like Brandi) who really go above and beyond to make sure we enjoy our time there.
The patio rocks during the times of the day that the sun isn’t directly on it.
Food is a hit or miss. We did the chix and waffles for brunch one day… the chicken was so overcooked and dry. BUT the mimosas were great and our server did a FANTASTIC job at making sure our glasses were never empty!
Their boneless chix tenders are really good.
The tomato soup is one of the best I’ve had.
The chix noodle was so salty it was inedible.
The fries are too salty (and I’ve tried them on a few different occasions and forget to say no or light salt and then get them and don’t ever get to eat them b/​c I don’t want to send them back).
The spicy chix sandwich is my favorite from here.
Overall, we continue to come here b/​c it’s so close and we enjoy the patio setting.

This is a hot local hangout for New Tampa/​Wesley Chapel peeps. Pretty much because we don’t have many other late night bars in the area. It’s located in Wiregrass Mall across from Grillsmith and Brass Tap. In my opinion, the outdoor bar is best unless it’s winter and too cold to sit outside. Parking can be rough on the weekends or if the mall is having an event, but there is always a spot available in the parking garage in the back of the mall. It’s not a far walk and it’s free. If you’re fancy, you can valet in the parking circle on the same street. There is table service at Primebar as well, but I’ve almost always just sat at the bar or a hightop close by.
Food: Pretty tasty. Appetizers are good (I’ve had calamari, buffalo chicken crisps, red pepper hummus, spinach & queso dip, steak quesadilla and pretzel sticks). All good. The sliders are also very tasty. If you can make it to happy hour M-​F 4−7pm this is all $ 5 a piece! Off beat tip: try the Mac and Cheese… it’s fantastic!
Drinks: Strong but expensive. Wine is $ 7+, most beers are $ 5.50 for 14oz and cocktails are around $ 10. Again, happy hour is where it’s at. $ 3.50 beers, $ 5 wine and $ 6 cocktails.
There is a Unilocal deal for 50% off of an appetizer if you check in! Overall, I like Primebar because it is a classier and trendy venue than other bars in New Tampa. There’s usually a large crowd on Friday and Saturday nights and it can be hard to find a seat. Music is live on the patio on the weekend and there’s a DJ inside if you like to dance. I’d say worth a night out, if you don’t mind spending money and having to drive to your final destination.

I have been back to Primebar a ton of times but wanted to update my review to include that they do have specials/​update menus from time-​to-​time and the grilled wings they added to the app menu are great!
Also, we had Ricky as a server today… Servers here are ok. I haven’t had anyone wait on us here that was memorable though. I will say — Ricky was GREAT! He interacted with the kids, ran his butt off to attend to his tables that were just all over the place, was friendly, smiling the whole time and just perfectly attentive.
I will request his section for as long as he works here. Hubby and I eat out often and just haven’t had a server that has done this nice of a job. Kudos!
