Great drinks, awesome food. What more could you want? Tried the hamburger sliders and they were cooked to perfection. Asked for them medium rare and they did it(so hard to find a place that does that). Also had the the beer cheese dip– it makes your mouth water it’s so good. Sort of a whipped texture. Delicious! Atmosphere was great, waitress was friendly. Will definitely be back!

This place is usually packed with people, specially the bar. They have a good beer selection, good service and decent food. The atmosphere is really good here. This is probably one of the only places where it seems easier to get a table than it is to get a spot at the bar. Go ahead try it out. Ask for some samples and try a different beer. You’ll feel like coming back.

Went here for lunch. Sides were lukewarm. Didn’t really care for the Mac n cheese but the buttermilk fried chicken was outstanding. Fish great, chips eh. Obviously had been sitting there. I believe if the sides were as hot as the entrée, the meal would have been all around delicious.

I love this place, every time I walk in I get greeted like a regular even though I don’t go that often. Best place for relaxing with friends, watching a game or just drinking beer, oh and their food is awesome too! Friendly staff and a great range of beers. Sometimes it can take a while to pick what you want to drink but the staff can help, tell them what you feel like and they recommend the perfect tipple. They have heaps of events like trivia and pumpkin carving at Halloween, the only downfall is its sometimes hard to find what’s happening unless you go regularly, or dig around their website(which does not always show them) Would be great to have a social media presence that was updated so I could follow, but that is a minor personal gripe. I’m off for a pint!

I got pointed to this place by a contractor who raved about the pour your own upstairs bar. I never made it that far and had a great experience. Showed up on a busy Friday with a line out the front door but the bar was open seating and i found an open bar stool. Greeted quickly by the bartender who showed up with a book for a beer menu but took 10 minutes to come back and get my order. Then told me «oh we’re out of that». Not a good start. So I had a Fullers and ordered a scotch egg. The egg came quickly and was delicious although pricey at 7.95 for one egg. Next was a Breckenridge Vanilla Porter on nitro! If you haven’t, you should. Then I had a Gouda Bowl. Right, a bowl of creamy Gouda Mac and cheese with pot roast and onion strings. The portion was perfect. I was satisfied but not miserable and I would have eaten every bite in the bowl. Finished the meal off with a youngs double chocolate stout. When I went to pay the bill I noticed no Fullers and got the«my bad» wink from the barkeep. The setting was a awesome, music was loud enough to drown out the conversations next to you but you didn’t have to yell, and if I lived here I’d be a regular.

Food was great, service was nice. The setting itself is worth the visit to The Pub. Had the Fish, shrimp and chips. While the meal was good, I did expect just a little more on the plate. The selection of brews is off the charts. Overall, I’ll be back next time in Tampa. I like to draw and kick back… this was a perfect setting after a long day.

Oh my the goat cheese is DELICIOUS. The first refill of pita is free and after that you have to pay for it. Their happy hour runs from 3pm-7pm with select appetizers for $ 3 and drafts for the same price. The Belhaven burger is my go-to order and it has yet to disappoint me. It comes with your choice of meat for the patty, onion strings, a pretzel bun, fries, and a fried pickle; that’s all you need to be satisfied. There are more than enough drinks to choose from along with their tempting menu. In addition to the goat cheese and burger, I highly recommend trying their bread pudding to end your night here. The Pub is a great casual pub to visit in the International Plaza. There are two floors for all customers along with a few tables outside facing the mall and putting those at the food court to shame. I have never had a problem with the service here as it has always been friendly and quick. If I ever have out of town friends visiting I would take them here after leaving the airport.

DH and I stumbled onto this pub while we were exploring the mall in our new city… We were seated right away and our waiter was awesome. Funny story… I was looking over the beer menu, as I usually do, and came across a new locally brewed IPA with a decent ABV so I ordered the Jai Alai and pronounced it as JIEALLIE. Our waiter didn’t skip a beat and courteously corrected my pronunciation and then gave DH and I the history of the game. DOH! As it turned out Jai Alai is now my favorite FL brew! The goat cheese app was super good, I had the fish and chips(which I am usually super hesitant to order due to the fry factor) and DH got a sandwich. As I recall both were good. What I do remember is how to pronounce Jai Alai and that food was good! This place is definitely worth a repeat performance.

Last night, I ventured out to The Pub, Tampa Bay because my friends in the Black Velvet Band were playing. The last time I’d been here, was at a Unilocal Event. I’m glad I came back! The service was excellent and the food was good. Their Scotch Eggs and the goat cheese dip were both tasty as hell, and of course the Cider was cold and refreshing. But it was the music that really had me happy. The Irish bodhran drummers and fiddlers all kept perfect time and of course the bawdy toasts were both amusing and sometimes almost blush worthy… ALMOST. They made me crave Ren Faire. Spring is coming, I know.

I’ve visited this location several times now, I suppose it’s time for a review. I’ve been here just for drinks, I’ve been here for trivia, I’ve been here for dinner a couple times and I attended an event upstairs with the wall of beer recently. The food is pretty good, the selection of beer is actually really nice, the upstairs for an event is cool. I especially like the section to the left when you get to the top of the stairs. The chairs on that side look like thrones and the outdoor balcony goes all across Bay Street… that’s kind of cool. I think I’d consider renting the space out on that side if I had a need to. The last time I visited for the social event on the right side of the top of the stairs, we had a wall of beer and a smaller balcony and regular pub height tables and chairs. We were offered a few different appetizers; a flatbread, which looked good but I didn’t taste that, the pita chips with artichoke/spinach dip… the dip looked and tasted extra greasy but the pita chips were very very good, and then there’s the pretzel bread with cheese dip. The pretzel bread is awesome! But the cheese was just ok. I do like the atmosphere. I am certain I’ll be back at some point, if for nothing else but the beer selection and pretzel bread!

The Pub is a nice location for a casual dinner at the International Mall/Bay street area. They have a good selection of British grub, but I always go with the fish and chips, which is a huge piece of fish perfectly fried on top of chips. There are different seating options, bar area, upstairs, downstairs, outside. We ended up upstairs next to the tap wall this time. The tap wall sounds like a good idea in theory– pour your own beer, don’t wait on a server, not have to drink an entire 16 oz glass and try different brews. Unfortunately for me, I had a hard time getting a good pour without miles of foam. A bartender might keep pouring while the excess foam runs over the side, but it’s not a smart option when paying by the ounce. I tried this once and quickly decided it wasn’t for me. Let the pros pour my beer, thanks. Service was a bit slow last night, but we were happily drinking and catching up, so we didn’t mind too much. Would come back!

Me and 3 of my friends went out here last night and had such a good time. There were so many different options for beer, and they were categorized by country! The 2 I chose were so smooth and delicious, and different than other beers I have had before. There was a live acoustic singer who had a wonderful voice and our server was energetic and cordial. I would come back here and try some of there food next time!

We love The Pub! The atmosphere is always upbeat and bright, the service is super and the food is just outstanding! We had lunch there last week, and it was another excellent event. Our Server, Alex, was the best. He was personable, friendly, gave us great suggestions, and made sure our table was stocked and we were satisfied. We certainly were, from start to finish. We ordered two appetizers. The Cheese Bollocks are lightly battered balls of mozzarella and provolone that are crunchy on the outside and creamy on the inside, and are habit-forming. We could have killed a bucket of those at a record-setting pace. We also enjoyed the Fried Pickles, which were sliced in quarter lengths, instead of slivers we’ve had elsewhere. They were really tasty and set the pace nicely. My wife tried a relatively new addition to the menu, the Mac ‘N’ Cheese with BBQ Pork. The gouda cheese was thick, creamy and the pork was excellent. A hefty portion that was very filling and delicious. I ordered the Corned Beef Reuben, and it was the best. I normally steer clear of corned beef because it is either too dry, fatty or has gristle, no matter how much I ask for a trimmed portion. The corned beef at The Pub was moist and top quality served with the perfect amount of sauerkraut, 1000 island dressing, and swiss cheese loaded onto great marble rye bread. It was just delicious! We finished off the meal with a slice of Jamaican Cheesecake, which included fresh bananas, banana liqueur, caramel and a chocolate oreo crust. It was knee-dropping good. I am a real Guinness fan, but also tried a seasonal pumpkin-spiced beer that was very good. There are plenty of choices of beer, scotches and whatever suits your palate. The Pub is a wonderful spot for a relaxing weekend brunch, hearty lunch or wonderful dinner. Try it once, and you’ll be hooked!

Fantastic happy hour and beer selection! This place has a top notch beer selection. I’m not a huge beer drinker, but just looking at the choices made me decide to try one. I went with the seasonal pumpkin beer they were promoting. It is absolutely delicious. I give it two thumbs up and, again, I usually don’t like beer. They have $ 3.95 appetizers during happy hour(ends at 7). Be warned, these are small appetizers(like they advertise). This isn’t oh let’s share two at a table of seven and be full. We ended up getting the nachos and spicy cheese dip to start. Both good, but not enough. And the spicy cheese dip came with like five chips. We had to ask for more chips. Then we got two buffalo chicken appetizers and two pretzel appetizers. That was enough. My favorite was the pretzel appetizers. It came with two mustards and a beer cheese dip. We ended up sitting outside. Once the sun goes down it isn’t that bad. They do have fans, but the one fan above us was not spinning that fast. They got pretty full and it was a Thursday night. This is a good place to go for happy hour.

Does anyone else remember when this space was an Asian restaurant called The Bamboo Club? That shows you how long I’ve been a regular at the bars and restaurants at International Mall and The Pub has really been going strong here for quite awhile since taking over the location. While I’m still not a fan of guys having to go up those damn stairs to visit the restroom(Ladies, you have your own bonus bathroom on the ground floor), there’s nothing really not to like about The Pub overall. Atmosphere is good and I’m generally very comfortable whether I sit outside, indoors at a table, at the bar or the tasting room upstairs where I can pour my own beer and walk ten steps to the men’s room. Beer and liquor selection is very representative of the theme and the menu also fits the profile of the British inspiration, while having some basic American staples as well. While I don’t necessarily find good value in the food itself, the quality and taste is just fine. I was fortunately to have some wonderful company for lunch there this week and our service was attentive while not intrusive. It does seem to me that guys work the bar during the day and women work it at night. The Pub’s happy hour in the late afternoon is always a good deal and they currently are doing trivia on Monday nights hosted by a very friendly gentleman who has plenty of prizes to give away. Of note, they were not showing the Monday Night NFL game this week. They were showing futbol, not NFL… which I totally understand, although it is the reason we left to go to Bar Louie to see the Chiefs-Packers.

Pleasantly surprised at The Pub! Came in for dinner not expecting much because 1) it’s in a mall, and 2) usually«pubs» are pretty hokey. I thought this was the case when I saw all the servers wearing kilts, but I admit I was wrong! Our server was great and let us sample beers before committing to an entire pint. He had great suggestions for appetizers(buffalo chicken with blue cheese crumbles). He kept our drinks refilled at all times. He also had great suggestions for dinner. I thoroughly enjoyed my welsh dip pub pretzel, which can be described as a Philly cheese steak literally served on a pretzel with a side of au jus. Absolutely amazing! My fiancé had the shepherd’s pie and thought it was great although a little lacking in the meat department. The patio is covered and it’s a nice place to enjoy even if it’s raining!

Cool atmosphere. Very British décor ! Came in on Friday afternoon and the fun and helpful waiter informed us about the happy hour specials. Drinks were good and at great prices from 3pm to 7pm. Pretzels were warm and delicious. It was a nice happy hour experience so this review is entirely based on that.

Our friend choose this place because he is craving for fish and chips. It was raining at that period and there were atlas 6 of us in our group. The hostess asked us if its okay for us to sit outside and my friend said no coz it was raining. The pub was not that crowded/busy and it took them a while to find a table for us, after waiting for atlas 10 minutes or more they decided to sit us upstairs. And at this point my friend is already mad. She can’t believe that we waited that long while they are not that busy and they have some table open upstairs. We got settled and ordered our drinks. And I ordered Sheperd’s Pie that comes with Onion Rings. The Sheperd’s Pie was great, I can’t believe that I finished it. The onion rings were okay. All I can say is that out server were good made us comfortable and welcome.

Great place if you are in the mood for pub food, such as Bangers & Mash and Fish & Chips. They also have these great gouda mac-n-cheese bowls. I got the one with pulled pork with Maker’s Mark bar-b-q and cole slaw. It was really good, and I couldn’t stop eating it. The only downside is, upstair there is this place where you get to pour your own beer. I know what you are saying, «What’s wrong with that? That sound great.» Normally I would agree with you, but no matter what you do it is impossible to get a good pour. You alway get more than half the cup filled with head. I think the taps have too much pressure. I would definetly go again but I would just get some beer from the bar.

Ok I had to take the time to wright a bigger and better review about this place because they deserve it! Saying the pub is amazing is definitely a understatement. There’s seriously not one thing wrong with this place. The inside is absolutely beautiful. Any competitor of this restaurant hands down gets blown away. Ok on to the food seriously delicious! My first visit Here I tried the fish and chips witch was really good. This time I went with their Rueben sandwich and wow! I’m a big fan of Rueben sandwiches and I must say its the best I’ve ever had. It’s rare I give five stars to anyone but this place definitely deserves it. It’s great for anyone at anytime. Kids/night out for drinks/lunch/big groups etc… I mean anything. Now I also don’t want our waitress to go unnoticed. She was for sure on top of her game. She let me know there was more then one person working there with her name so I made sure to get her full name so that the right person gets the recognition deserved. Alex kru was very professional and sweet. She was happy to talk to us and answer all my questions witch was nice. She made sure we had everything we needed at all times. I highly recommend this place to anyone. If your ever in the area drop in I promise you won’t regret it. The pub is awesome and I’ll always continue to go back. Great job guys!
