Best Mexican Food EVER! I absolutely Adore the chicken & bean Flautas with the queso!!! The customer service is always on point & the staff is very attentive to my needs. A+ :)

It’s Tijuana Flats! If you enjoy hot sauce, well than duh you will love this place. I personally enjoy hot sauce. The norrito bowl is delicious.

Cool hot bar souse with 10+ varieties. Come here for Taco Tuesdays or Throwback Thursdays ($ 5.99 meal deals). Nice wall art decorations. Food is good quality for the price, reminds a lot of Qdoba. Beer served on draft for a very reasonable price. I keep coming back here since college days which was many years ago :)

Good little new age mex food place here, they have several locations around the bay area. When you first walk in your eyes are flooded with bright brilliant colors and neon lights. Not much of a food smell in the air but a good vibe that you’re going to be treated well. The hot sauce bar is a cool touch but most of them had that vinegary aftertaste.
I have been once or twice before and even used them once to cater a work event. Catering went well but they forgot the taco salad shells and it took almost towards the end of our lunch-​inn to get them there. Other than that very freindly and had order ready for pick-​up when promised.
The food is tasty and fresh with a bit of kick on new style mexican food. They also serve alcohol which they have some local stuff on tap surprisingly.
Not much to go into detail here about other than the prices are somewhat fair and food is portioned to the price.

If looking for a small vegetarian salad on a soft shell (even though you’ve ordered steak) you’ve found the right place. But when I order steak tacos I expect steak and not a tablespoons worth. Tacos only half full, mostly with vegetables, just doesn’t cut it. Bland taste to boot. No wonder they have all those hot sauces — to give the food taste. Rice was blah. Refried beans even worse. Like placed in the microwave on high for too many minutes. Not a good experience — especially considering the price they charge for simple tex-​mex. If you’re going to use those large soft taco shells then fill them up! Like the old saying goes, «Where’s the Beef?» Not here…

I really like Tijuana Flats because they serve fast food that is always fast, friendly, inexpensive, and it tastes great. This particular location is very busy –especially on Taco Tuesday, as others have noted– but the line moves faster than any other in the plaza where it’s located. They service is efficient and the staff are very welcoming and pleasant.
My son loves their ginormous tacos, and I love their taco salads. They put the salad together from scratch, so it varies in content from time to time, but it is always delicious. When I visited yesterday and ordered my normal salad take-​out, I noticed after I returned to my office that they neglected to add the (most important part) ground beef, so naturally I called them to complain (you can forget the onions, but not the beef!). The manager immediately and genuinely apologized, took my name, and offered several remedies, any one of which were more than acceptable. This is the kind of reaction that goes above and beyond and is so rare these days… it keeps you wanting to return!

Went here for lunch and was not disappointed! The food was delicious and fresh. The service was amazing and they make you feel as if your the most important person in the restaurant. I highly recommend this place.

First of all they don’t have tequila. Can you call yourself Tijuana Flats without tequila. Second the food is ok. The salsa bar comes out of bulk hand pumps, makes you wonder about the freshness. Thirdly I wonder if the have anything to heat food. We ordered tacos on a Tuesday, which is the special and both orders would not past a health inspection. The tortillas were not even warmed for assembly and the meat was slightly warmer than air temperature. We were outside so that put it in the 90 degrees range. We sent one of the tacos back and it’s replacement the same. So of you want warm average food with great service this is the place for cheap eats.

Obviously it’s chain reasturant food but the staff here is above par. The managers are very pleasent, always walking the floor, and asking about your experience. The staff is attentive as well, always adhering to the ‘have you been here before’ policy. I’ve only had one problem with the food, lettuce was soggy, and the GM readily took care of it.

Out of control nice servers – thanks to Marisa and others! Food was excellent – and super reasonably priced too! Great guac, great tortilla chips, great chimichanga and burrito. Sangria was not the best – but I had two! Still really good! Will have to return!

Food: The food isn’t bad. If you like quick tex-​mex-​ish food, this is the place to go. The portions are decent and there is a large variety of hot sauces available. If I was just rating based on the sauces, I would give this place 5 stars. However, I have had a hit-​and-​miss type of experience pertaining to the actual meals. Some days, the food is absolutely delicious and sometimes, the meat I order can be a little dry (chicken, usually). Again, hot sauce can fix that but I don’t like to drown my food too much.
Vibe: Honestly, this depends on when you go. I’ve come here when it was almost empty and there was no wait. I’ve also come when it was packed wall-​to-​wall and seating is impossible. There is outdoor seating available but on some days, even this space is packed. Timing is key.
Also, two words: Taco Tuesday. Be warned, this place gets packed at around 12 pm on this day so if you want to avoid the wait, I suggest you come earlier. I recommend soft flour tacos with the blackened chicken. They also have wheat tacos if you are on a bit of a «health kick.»

Taco Tuesday… Hurray for that! 5.95 for two tacos and chips with salsa and a drink! Hell yes!
There throwback Thursday is also excellent. Burritos with chips salsa and a drink! I also get my burrito WET. With queso!
They have good beers and a bad ass sauce bar… «Smack my sweet ass and call me sally» is the house favorite. Its DELICIOUS!

Not a burrito to brag about. A plain wrap around a bit of meat. Pricey for sure. The sauces that they supposedly specialize in where nothing to write home about.

Today I revisited the Restaurant (2÷21÷15). I ordered the Atom Bombers. Excellent. They were so fresh, a light crunch from the ingredients but soft from the torilla. Came with sour cream and a sweet, garlic, hot sauce. Very Good.
I also ordered a beef and chicken taco. One & ½ the size of a regular taco and good. I tried several of the hot sauces: garlic, jalapeño, georgia peach, habanero and a sweet/​hot.
Total thumbs up!

This place is decent but not great. However, the place is fast, and the staff is friendly. I love that they offer people who are waiting on their order a free drink.
I showed up for a casual lunch. They saw me lurking in the doorway and gestured for me to come up, offered me a menu, and told me not to rush to order. That was awesome.
I had the carnitas norrito bowl (basically a naked burrito if you’re at Qdoba or Chipotle). I really like that guacamole comes standard with it. The pork was okay, and overall everything was fine. Playing around with hot sauces from the hot sauce bar helped. The black beans were mushy, so everything sort of felt like the same texture. :/​
The servers deliver the food to you, and they circulate around the room offering drink refills. That is nice. However, as the food falls short of Qdoba or Chipotle, I think I’ll trade in the service for better food quality if I’m just eating a fast lunch.
