Sonic, oh Sonic, why are you the devil? I love your cherry limeaid and the inconsistent way you deliver it to tease me. Sometimes I get more cherry sometimes it’s more lime. It’s a surprise to see if you gave me that perfect maraschino cherry or that slice of lime in the bottom. Even if you don’t, the next time, I may get two. It’s all perfection and I crave you. Everyday, I try and avoid you but that cherry limeaid keeps bringing me back in.

Stopped by for a refreshing treat. Had a turtle pecan blast which was delicious and creamy. I love soft serve ice cream and this treat did not disappoint me. We had the pleasure of having Donny serve us and I was intrigued by his skates. He was kind enough to pose for a pic and he never dropped any orders. Kudos!

They advertised on TV for two years before one actually opened up in my area. The hot dogs are pretty good. What surprised me was the steak n cheese, which was actually better than most places. Plenty of different drinks.

I have heard about Sonic for years and even see their commercials, but there were none in the Buffalo area so I was excited to try this location. It is a fun concept to pull up as you would have in old school drive throughs and have the individual menu and order button. The down side is that if the driver can read the menu, the passenger had difficulty and vice versa. The menu is typical fast food(burgers, dogs, chicken) but I did enjoy that there were a variety of hot dog options. They serve tater tots instead of french friens. I ordered the chili cheese tots and they were fantastic. My favorite part of the meal was the milkshake. Apparently they are doing a summer special with about 20 different shake flavors. I tried the peanut butter and jelly shake and it was amazing. A perfect combination of both flavors and pieces of actual strawberries. That alone was worth the trip. It was a fun experience and the food was decent for fast food. I wouldn’t make a special trip, but if I’m up at Pittsburgh Mills again, I’d visit again.

T. O. T. S. Need I say more? Ok, will add a little more. This location was closed for a few months renovating. They’re open with a full staff. Alot of students who can skate work here. Highly recommend the breakfast burrito with tots. Tot’s are in the burrito! Hot dogs are a good meal deal also. Sonic has happy hour drinks and occasionally has the holiday drink specials. Although they don’t compare to the drive-in restaurants from the 60’s, it is still a fun treat for the kids. You can order and pay on the menu station right in front of you. Might I recommend signing up for their mobile texts? They let you know what their specials are or the happy hour item of the day is.

Person taking the orders hadn’t done this much before, and the service was slow. Burger was on-par with McDonald’s. Chili on the tater tots was far better than the burger, but a full portion of the tater tots seems to have made my friend who ate them pretty darn sick. Limeaid was carbonated — 7-UP? — which I wasn’t quite expecting. Probably won’t go back here, as Five Guys(200 feet away?) has a much, much, much better burger, with about the same speed.

I love sonic’s, just pull up and park. Press a button, order, and get your food. All the food and drinks I had hear I loved. The only problem is that the Sonic’s is far away from monroeville.

I ate at the Sonic Drive-In at Pittsburgh Mills on Saturday afternoon. I was so excited … Until my food arrived. My order was wrong — not one item wrong; the entire contents of the bag was wrong despite having my receipt stapled to the bag. I then pushed the button again, waited, told them, and waited for my order again. When she brought out the second bag, I thought I could now enjoy my lunch. Wrong. My order was still wrong! This time it was my bag of food but there was nothing on my hamburger. Push the button again, wait, wait, move my car back to look for a bell hop, wait, wait… Finally hear the voice in the box and hear they’ll send condiments out. By the time they arrived, my burger was cold.(the meat was already overcooked and hard). You’d think my Sonic experience would be over but I «enjoyed» an upset stomach the rest of the day. I will never eat here again.

I have been here 5 times and only one time have they gotten my order correct. Hot dogs are very inconsistent. Sometimes barely cooked and other times practically petrified. They do have a pretty good coney sauce though. A few other people I have talked to agree with my experiences. You can’t expect consistency in product at this location and you have a 50% chance of getting what you ordered.

Good food. This is the first Sonic in the Pittsburgh area. It is a carhop meaning you eat in your car or on the patio when the weather is nice. They offer breakfast, burgers, salads, wraps, hot dogs, fruit smoothies, floats, milkshakes, malts, ice cream and sundaes. The food is good and fast. My only complaint is that evertime we go they mess up our order but, they are always quick to fix it.
