I recently moved to northern westchester and was trying to find a salon for a great cut and eventually color. I went to New Karma based on the good Unilocal reviews and was really pleased. Jona cut my hair and she, along with the other staff, were so nice and did a great job! I am going to make an appointment for highlights in the coming week and feel confident that my hair will come out just the way I want it. It is so hard to find a salon that is affordable and does great work, and that’s exactly what my experience has been at New Karma!

I met Jonna a few months ago and finally made it into the salon. I noticed Jonna’s hair cut and had to ask her where she got it cut. She told me she owns the salon and one of her hair stylists, Lyndsey, cuts her hair. After many months of having a complicated relationship with my hair, I finally made an appointment. First of all, Lyndsey is so affordable! $ 55 for a haircut! Also she had a cancelation, so she fit me in. She took her time, consulted, dried my hair, cut more. was so patient and great. I LOVE MY HAIR!!! SHE IS AMAZING! The salon is cute and I highly recommend it!

This may be called New Karma now, I can’t remember. Anyway, until this past summer, this was the hair salon I went to and I loved it! It took me a long time to find a place in Tarrytown (and surrounding areas) that I liked, and once at work, overheard a woman come in who had beautiful hair and a nice, natural looking cut (nothing edgy or modern– blech) who said she went to Jonna at New/​Good Karma. I booked my appointment and was not disappointed! Jonna was nice and enjoyable to talk to, and most of all, she is a maestro at cutting hair. Now I live on the other side of the country and can’t get my hair cut there anymore, but I’m almost tempted to fly back.
