This is the place to go for all everyone, but especially women. Lorenzo is extremely honest, reliable, and a highly skilled mechanic. His prices are always reasonable and fair. He will only repair what is necessary to get your car in working condition, and he will guaranty his and his employees’ work. I have been going to Glenn’s Auto Center for over ten (10) years with my 2000 Toyota Corolla. Due to Lorenzo’s expertise, I probably will be able to drive my car for another ten (10) years.

An honest mechanic! Good prices and they stand behind their work. Been bringing my old SUV here for years and it now has 320,000 miles so they must be doing something right to keep it going this long. Lorenzo is a great guy, who will always work with you.

Update to my review from 2013: Lorenzo has helped me keep my 1994 camper van running (and it gets some rough treatment). Needed a few repairs, some servicing, brakes, upgraded shocks, replaced squeaky tensioners, etc. Always fair, reliable, reasonable, honest. Will continue to bring my vehicle here for anything it needs.

I can’t say enough about these guys. Great, great mechanics. They are highly skilled and just as honest. They were able to find the problem with my car quickly and finished the work when they said they would. They communicate well and their prices are fair. The best ever!

I have not had anything major done yet at Glenn’s, but I went in for a minor fix. Lorenzo got me right in, I went and grabbed some lunch and got everything all fixed. Lorenzo was very nice. I will definitely bring my BMW back to Glenn’s Auto, it is right in the neighborhood and it has the local feel. Thanks!

Great shop and great workers here! The owner Lorenzo is a straight forward honest guy and never tries charging you for things that you don’t need like other mechanics do. I’ve been bringing all my cars to him and always walk away happy. Great prices and great service.

Some other mechanic says I need a $ 500 plus repair. Glenn says no way on a car with so little miles he checks it over states it is fine and thereby saved me $ 500 for a repair I did not need.

Finding a decent, honest mechanic can be very stressful.
Many people have horror stories about visiting the wrong shop.

I found Lorenzo by chance when my BMW needed emergency repair. He’s a great guy, very friendly and polite, and speaks good English. He will not over0charge you like most other places do. I highly recommend coming here.

Lorenzo… I have referred everybody I know and their mother to this place and I strongly urge anybody reading this review to trust your car in this place’s hands because he will not screw you over and will do what is needed to be done and not add on any BS.

I was referred to Glenn’s by another mechanic that we trust so that was a review that carried a lot of weight. I started going and am happy everytime I go. I have a nutty schedule because I’m constantly shuttling around 3 children. Lorenzo (the guy running it) always works with me to help me get in and out if there as expediently as possible. I feel pretty lucky to have found them.

I have had the worst experience with a previous auto shop on a smog. They charged me parts, labor, smog and it still didn’t pass. They said they will fix it. I had it smoged again and it still failed. I went back and demanded I get a refund on everything but the parts (Since they were in my vehicle). I got a full refund on everything reluctantly by the owner and I never looked back. The a different smog shop that I went to to try to get the smog to pass, recommended Glenn’s because they were open still and they could look at it.
So I did. He said leave it here for a few hours and well work on it. So I left and came back. Sure enough, it was a small hose that connects to the gas cap was cut. That’s all that was wrong! He said «I fixed it, and I got it smoged for you in the shop next door, no charge and it passed.» OMG! He paid for my smog! I didn’t know what to say.
On a different occasion:
I purchased a new car and went to get a routine oil change at my local oil place. They discovered oil in the radiator and water in the engine block. They said it could be a small leak in the oil cooler or a head gasket change. I was like «Holy S$^t!» A head gasket change could cost up to $ 1000 bucks to tear into the engine, only to replace a $ 10 gasket. I was freakin out. I didn’t have that kind of money to drop.
I went to Glenn’s and asked him what he would charge. He said, lets look at it first. He looked and said yeah, it could be one of those two things. He looked up my car to see if it had an oil cooler and it does. He said, «Put some head gasket sealer in the radiator and drive it around nice and good. It’s not that bad.» I was still not convince. Then he showed me a car that had the same problem and it… was… really… BAD! So I did as he suggested and the problem went away!
He could have told me it was the head gasket and try to get me to get the repair but he didn’t. He gave me a free examination of the issue, free advise, fixed my issue, and made no money from me! I don’t care what you say, I trustworthy mechanic is rare and hard to come by. I won’t go anywhere else.

I’ve had two awesome experiences so far. Glenn’s was recommended by several neighbors so I went a few months ago to get a taillight fixed. They replaced the bulb and didn’t even charge me! So, today when I needed a basic oil change I went back. For approximately $ 30 they did the job with no annoying upsell on useless services. And, they rotated my tires for no extra fee. The only reason I’m not giving them 5 stars is that I haven’t used them for any more serious services yet.

Be careful going there. They care more about making money from short term than keeping customers long term. I think they used to be good but the recent financial down turn has impacted their outlook and they just have to squeeze money from every customer to survive.

Don’t go here. Went to get my window fixed. The manager seemed like a nice guy, told me that the part I need was on back order, and that it would take 10 days. Since it wasn’t urgent, I decided to wait. Well, the next day the manager calls me up and says, «Hey! We got your part!» so I make an appointment to bring my car in there, and, since it would take half a day to fix the issue, I took the day off of work.
Well… I show up to Glenn’s Auto Center at 8AM and the manager tells me, «The parts still on back order…» Then why did you say you had it two days ago? Why did you not call me last night, when I could still call in to work and say I would be in the next day? He didn’t have answers for these questions and was entirely way too cavalier with his wasting of my time for me to ever want to do business at that place again.
Do not go here. They will waste your time.
