I eat here about once a week. Very good food. They def give good portions too. I recommend a classic ham and cheese omelet. The ham is thick and crispy on the ends. Perfect!

Yummy in my tummy :). I work close by and often stop in for lunch, I always leave happy and satisfied. My usual is a tuna sandwich on a croissant with all the fixings. There are a bunch of sides to choose from like, salads(potato, egg and macaroni), coleslaw, French fries and fruit I believe. I haven’t tried much else but always like the sandwiches. Service is super friendly and sweet, place is clean.

Typical low end diner, the service was ok, food was pretty bad. French toast was like cardboard served with margarine and fake syrup, sausage was dry and burned. Avoid if at all possible.

No frills, just a good diner. I came here today with a friend and was pleasantly surprised. I got the 2×2×2 which is a lot of food and she got the salad and half sand which combo with a coffee and OJ which came out to be $ 25. Pancakes soaked up the syrup which is my favorite and the bacon wasn’t overly salty. They also got my eggs right which is a plus. The service was really great and friendly. Definitely will be back!

After surviving the 405 morning commute traffic on our motorcycle, my wife and I bailed on the 101 and exited in a place called«Tarzana». A friendly security officer at Gelson’s market steered us to Greystoke Grill. After being greeted by a friendly staff member, we sat down and ordered the«California» omelet. Delicious! Great price! When I was about to use the bottled hot sauce, our server let us in on a «local secret». This secret is the fresh salsa that is amazing! If we had room on our bike we would have asked to buy a couple of quarts. You will not be disappointed! Last thing… you can tell a lot about the pride/care of a restaurant by the condition/cleanliness of its facility… Greystoke really cares and it shows.

The best breakfast burrito’s! Generous portions at a little price. Very friendly and accommodating staff as well. I’m not sure about the rest of the menu, but for a delicious breakfast burrito, this is our new go to spot.

Today was my first and last time I’ll ever go to this place. I ordered a Beef Brisket Dip, and it was the worse I’d ever had. How can you screw up a Beef Dip??? After a couple of bites, I thought about taking it home to my poodle Chloe. I decided not to. It was that horrible, so I threw it out. Money down the drain. HONESTLY, HOWCANYOURUIN A BEEFDIP and shoestring fries??? Totally disgusted and a ruined appetite. It tasted like they had it put away for a few days and gave it to us because we had a time we needed to leave by. Never again will I end up here.

This is a fixture for hospital and medical staff in the Tarzana area. I always stop by late mornings when I’m rushing to work, or lunch breaks with co-workers. We are very fortunate to have many options to eat in the area; but nothing quite like Greystoke. They always make you feel at home, and they’re very quick & accommodating. I had to dock one star for their menu, it needs some improvement – the food isn’t up to par for the price they charge.

Went for breakfast and was pretty underwhelmed. Ordered the California omelette and the avocado inside was hard as a rock. The service was also pretty bad as the waiter was not attentive. Bummer too as I had high hopes.

I will never order from this place again!!! I ordered a cheese Danish and the cheese was spoiled and smelled awful even thru the Saran Wrap it was in. My order also came with some bread. When I opened the box, there was mold on my toast. It makes me wonder what else is spoiled that they are serving people. Call in Gordon Ramsay!!!

My husband and I LOVE this place. It’s a perfect little down home neighborhood diner. Food is consistently good, Juan is there most mornings to great you with a warm smile. A great balance of chatting if you’re a morning person(like my hubby) and laid back but attentive if you prefer to ease into your morning(like myself). Don’t let the basic menu fool you, they are open to mix up the offerings upon request and always have a great variety of specials. Like in-and out, they kinda have a secret menu of which my husband loves the corned beef Benedict(not on the menu but always available) and whatever I get, I always ask for the homemade salsa!!. Seriously just like my grandma’s. If you want an economical and yummy no fuss breakfast this is your spot!

Ok this is one of those reviews where I feel like I’m in the Twilight Zone because my experience was so vastly different to everyone else on here. Stopped in today with my wife for a quick lunch. I’m giving a star for the friendly waiters and service, but that’s where the good times end unfortunately. The wife ordered the soup and half sandwich. Matzo ball soup and a chicken salad sandwich with fries. The portion size was impressive and the soup came about 10 seconds after we ordered it. However, the soup was quite literally the worst matzo ball soup I’ve ever tasted. And I’ve had a lot of them. Completely flavorless with a wet cardboard texture. She barely made a dent in it before giving up. The chicken salad sandwich was also quite bland and fell apart on the plate. I figured you couldn’t go wrong with bacon and eggs. The waiter even asked how I wanted the bacon cooked! I’d never heard that question before, so I assumed ‘this must surely be a place that knows how to cook bacon!’ Apparently they took my request of «I guess I like my bacon crispy» to mean thaw out two sad strips of freezer burnt bacon and then charbroil them into a congealed powder. I never met a bacon I didn’t like… until now. The over-easy eggs fared only slightly better. Way over-cooked with singed edges. The hashbrowns at least weren’t offensive. It’s a shame. Looks like a nice little hole in the wall diner but the food was just terrible today. :(

I’ve been coming to this place for almost ten years now. I’ve seen it change owners three times ans I’ll never stop coming. I love a place where the employees know my name the second time I come in. I love having a usual. And, more important, I love being left alone to read if I like.

I am extremely happy that they changed owners. The food is excellent and this restaurant is apart of HISTORY! It sucked that the Sugar Mill owner was destroying this popular place. Finally someone else stepped in and bought this amazing place. Breakfast is limited but its BREAKFAST! Lunch and dinner is better and worth spending. The burgers and the fries are super yummy. Best place to relax, chat with friends, and eat. The wait staff maybe older but they’re on point when it comes to giving you everything you need unlike some other places.

I’ve lived a block away and haven’t been there until today! We got a breakfast burrito and a Cobb salad. The burrito wasn’t on the menu, you can just tell them all of the ingredients you want in there. It was delicious! The prices were average. The service was AMAZING! The customers were all a lot older, but I still loved it. I’ll definitely be returning!
