I gave this place one more shot tonight for God knows whatever reason. I pulled in and after a few minutes of silence, I was finally asked for my order. Throughout my order, the guy seemed to not be paying attention. I had to repeat myself and after I had said my last item, he just went silent. No «Is that all? Drive around…» nothing. So, I drove to the first window. I sat there… and sat there… while this guy is RIGHT on the other side of the window, makes eye contact with me, and just keeps ignoring me. He finally goes OUT the freaking door right next to my car to continue his phone call… on his personal cell phone that he had apparently been on the entire time. There was no one at the window and no one at the counter. I sat there for a good 3 minutes before I decided to drive away because he was STILL on the phone and I had seen not one employee pass the drive thru window. What makes it even worse is that he was wearing a manager’s uniform… I thought it so bizarre that I came home to call their corporate line. I waited on hold for 6 minutes before someone answered and said that I had to call a whole other number. I couldn’t be transferred… so I called guest relations and they’re closed. LOL. Never again, BK… never again.

This is a recently-renovated Burger King but the service was painfully slow on a Sunday night. My husband and I were the only people in line when we ordered but somehow waited(literally) 10 minutes for our food — basic order, too… two Jr. Whoppers, two small fries. That’s it. We received our food 10 minutes after ordering and no one behind the counter apologized or even explained the wait. I really don’t get it. Our burgers were fresh but we got STALEFRIES. Are you kidding me? Ten minute wait for two burgs and fries and they give us stale fries. Kinda unacceptable, even by fast food standards. The location is great and the restaurant was clean, with ample seating, TVs and free WiFi. I don’t eat often at Burger King, but because the ridiculous wait on a night that they were slow as hell, I’d not return to this location.

Guess who’s got Bacon Sundaes? They do, along with a new variation of the Barbecue Bacon Tender Crisp, which used to be my favorite sandwich. They now call it the Carolina Barbecue Tendergrill. They actually have grill marks on the chicken and it tastes faintly of charcoal. It comes with tomatoes, lettuce, cheese, bacon, raw onions, and a very drippy sauce, which is good but messy! Bring Wash-Ups!
