For Middle Eastern food there is no comparison. These guys rock and I could eat there every day.

The shish tawook was really good. Hummus phenomenal. Very clean restaurant and staff is very friendly. Restaurant was packed on a Friday night(ultimate sign of a good restaurant). Even though it was crowded we were seated quickly and got fast service.

Hands down best middle eastern food ever. Such big portions that taste extremely good! Always willing to drive 30 minutes just to have their food! Highly recommend the mixed platter, has everything you would want off the menu at such a great price!

I’ve had this restaurant on my radar for a while now, well today me and my best girls finally tried it. I am going with three stars but it was almost a four, unfortunately service was the deciding factor. I met a couple of friends for lunch. I arrived first the server who greeted me was wonderful. I explained it was my first visit and she went out of her way to make suggestions and even bring a sample of the lentil soup for me as well as that yummy hot pita bread with oh so good garlic paste. When my friends arrived however the staffs sections changed and we then got a new server. The service wasn’t awful, he was just slow, forgetful and lacking personality; especially compared to the original server, however are order was correct. The restaurant has a nice ambiance, clean and comfortable. It is a very large place and was busy. For the food we ordered a fatoush salad with grilled chicken which was wonderful. The chicken shwarma which was good but a bit oily as well as the chicken vegetable soup which was okay. The star of the meal was the pita bread and garlic paste. I would probaly give it another shot. The food was fresh and tasty, although not my favorite type of cuisine.

Mediocre. I was just there and ordered their chicken shwarma and it was dripping with oil. I had the crushed lentil soup and it was salty… then my friend tried their sauteed shrimp entrée and yes they brought a plate full, but the shrimp and mushrooms had a lot of water at the bottom of the dish and it was way too sour. I tried one of their milkshakes and it was so bland and for $ 3.99 you get a medium cup that’s finished in like four sips. The only thing I liked was the hot bread they give at the beginning.

Tonight a group of friends, 17 of them, met at Malek Al Kabob’s for dinner. The food was wonderful but the thing that impressed me more was our waiter, Nabil. He was so good!!! Nothing bothered him, he handled all 17 of us and not one mistake, he was so nice to us. He made our dinner even more wonderful! Great food, great service with great friends, what more could I ask for! Thank you Malek Al Kabob’s and Nabil.

WOW, this place was great and the plates really did have a lot of food on them. We enjoyed the fatoush salad with grilled chicken, the falafel wrap and iced mint tea(with this, we just poured the hot tea over ice since they don’t make it iced.) Everything was great. That garlic sauce that goes on the pita was yummy. I hope I can return soon.

Really great food. Delicious and large menu. Highlights for me are the boneless grilled chicken, and lamb kabob. Hummus and fresh hot pita. Clean, casual and slightly noisy. Only drawback is no liquor license but the food is the star.

Favorite Middle Eastern downriver. Everything there is always great. Everything is fresh, pleasant wait staff. Nice big dining room that is very family friendly. All of their food is so good. There is a lot of Middle Eastern options around here, this one is the best in my opinion!

If you’re downriver and have a craving for Mediterranean cuisine. Make sure you make your way over to this reataurant. It’s been good back then when the shop was just a fraction of its size. Now that it’s expanded like crazy, It’s still the best middle eastern restaurant here downriver. Actutually, lemme scratch that, the best middle eastern restaurant in MICHIGAN as far as I’m concerned. Every time I enter the premises to eat, they seems to never miss a beat. The bread is fresh, the garlic paste is extra potent and the tea is on point. The main events are also destructive. My main focus in a Middle Eastern joint is their Kibbe Nayee. It’s how I put the restaurant to the test. Plus it defines the level of authenticity for me. Whenever I’m here, I always get their kibbe Nayee, It’s yummy, it’s fresh and it’s delish. IF you’re not the adventurous type, Deboned chicken is where it’s at. Please order this dish with the rice pilaf. Fries is an American thing. It’s highly embarrassing when you’re eating with someone who’s passionate about their food. Their Lamb Kabob is very good as well. Lamb always has great flavor and the way they execute it is sublime. I been coming here for the last 10 years and will continue to come here til the end of time. This restaurant to me is the best of the best. The measuring stick for anything Middle Eastern. Life is short, stop eating boring food. Follow me on instagram and snapchat: rodtorres3 Weeeeeeeeeeee!

Food was fresh and delicious. Wait staff is friendly and very helpful. They were pretty busy as you would expect for a Saturday night but did not compromise service. I will definitely return and reccomend for lunch and dinner.

So much food! Entrees are good for two people with leftovers as well. The lemon chicken is good, the two kebabs and Kafta is good. Nothing can go wrong here. Been here 10+ times and it’s always consistently good. Service is good, quick, friendly. They do a good amount of carry out also, but then you lose out on the unlimited pita bread. Show your triple AAA card for a discount, I think…

I absolutely love this place. Great food, great vibe from the patrons. The service is pretty good. The platter for 2 is big enough for 3. I get it with my wife and friend every time,

One of the best middle eastern restaurants in the Downriver area. I stopped in for lunch recently, and they were packed, despite that service was still quick. Not as speedy as it could have been, but good enough to not detract. I’ve been in here more than a dozen times and never had bad food. Prices are a bit higher than at some of the other area places, but for the most part the food here is better, so you get what you pay for. They use a soda machine for iced tea, it’s not fresh brewed. That’s my biggest and only real complaint. I’m particular about my tea. My only other small complaint is that I personally don’t care for the hummos. It comes displayed beautifully, but it’s a bit more bland than I would like. Others I’ve dined with have raved over it though, so that’s more my taste profile than an actual complaint. The fresh made bread is fantastic and the garlic sauce is among the best I’ve ever had. Food portions are huge. The place is large, but the décor allows it to still feel a bit homey and it’s in a great easy to access location. Bathrooms are always clean and there is plenty of parking in the front and rear of the building.

I ordered over the phone just before close. Pick up. They missed my order for grape leaves but once I noticed they offered me a beverage while I waited and gave me the grape leaves with no charge. The lamb Kabobs were so delicious and tender, ordered medium rare, just perfect. Lentil soup, hummus, garlic sauce and lamb grape leaves are all great. Definitely coming back next time I am in Michigan! The staff is friendly and keeps you coming back! Yum! Portions are large.

This place is outstanding! The toum(garlic sauce) is incredibly delicious and served with the fluffy, warm pita bread makes for a great start to any of their wonderful entrees. I’ve been here numerous times, and have NEVER had a bad meal and/or service. You will not be disappointed with this middle eastern restaurant. It’s the best place Downriver for this type of cuisine. I love the shawarma and fattoush. Yummy!

I love this restaurant I always get the Power juice and a sandwich and I get that for about 7 bucks(not including the tip) and I get good service. I highly recommend this place with its good food friendly service and great juices and smoothies.

Pros: very good food, authentic, convenient location, reasonable price Cons: my gallayah was a little bit too oily, still good, but I thought it could use less oil
