My husband has been wanting to try this place for awhile and we finally did a few days ago. The service was slow despite not being very busy. The chips went unfilled. The drinks went empty. The salsa was absolutely inedibly bad. The food took so long to arrive that our conversation ended and I just played on my phone. Needless to say I was not expecting good things from our meal. In fact, I had pretty much already planned out my «well, can we consider your curiosity satisfied?» good-natured in-your-face to my husband for after lunch. Yet notice my 4 star review. It overcame. This is HANDSDOWN the most amazing Mexican food I’ve eaten in years. RIDICULOUSLY good. The sauces and seasonings were flavorful and spot on. The rice and beans were perfect. The meats… oh my. They must have a charcoal grill out back, because they tasted like heaven. No really– I was a vegetarian for the better part of a decade and usually don’t care about meat whatsoever. Not the case this time. INSANELY good! I had the Spicy Enchilada Duo and it was perfection. Perfectly spiced and seasoned. My husband and children also enjoyed their meals, but I was honestly too busy enjoying my food to pay much attention! I’m impressed– and I’m sure we’ll return. Often. Despite the lousy service and bad salsa. I’m pretty picky when it comes to Mexican, and this place just takes the cake– I don’t think I’ve eaten better Mexican food in *at least* a decade!

Food is pretty good most of the time but the service really sucks. Shouldn’t have to chase the server down for straws, silverware, napkins, drink refills, chip and salsa refills all in the same visit.

I’ve been working in the Taylor area this week and have eaten here twice. Had the Enchiladas Verde and the sauce was great! Good and fresh chips and salsa. Tonight had their nachos – lots of meat, beans, guacamole and queso on top. Delicious! Very extensive menu and staff was very attentive. I would recommend it.

I brought my wife here for Mother’s Day. We were meeting someone to pick up a playhouse for our grandson. We at lunch here. We ordered our food and waited a good while, about 35 minutes, before we received our plates. I ordered the shrimp enchiladas and my wife the chicken avocado enchiladas. I started eating my shrimp enchiladas after about 4 bites i removed a piece of steel from my mouth. It was from a steel kitchen scrubber. I contacted a waitress and told them about it. She took it back and the a manager returned. He said he was sorry and did I want another plate. I told him yes on another plate. My wife’s chicken enchiladas had no avocado in side only on top. Plus the chicken was very dry. After we were done eating we had to wait a good while before we received our check. I looked at the check and paid it. There was no discount or free entrée or even an apology from the waitress. We drove all the way from North Austin to eat here. This was one of the worst experiences we have had. I am sorry but I cannot recommend this place at all. Even to those that live in the Taylor area.

Not great mexican food in my opinion. Ordered the fajitas and they tasted burnt. Rice and beans are not impressive either. Tortillas are ok at best. Margaritas are good. Service was horrible as our waiter was constantly rushing us I won’t be back.

We like coming here. The food is pretty good and the potions are generous. The staff is very friendly. They have karaōke on the weekends which can be fun. Their fajitas are really good and so is pretty much everything else on the menu. Their drinks are pretty good, I don’t drink much so I haven’t had anything really besides the Mexican Martini. This is a good place foe the family or to get together with friends.

I love this place. We’ve never had a bad meal here. The food is unexpectedly delicious, and they have vegetarian options unlike most places in Taylor. The staff and service are great. It’s clean. There are TVs if you want to watch sports, and beer and margaritas. I will be a regular here on my weekly trips to Taylor for a long time.

Looks like we found a winner here… Great location right of the Hwy 79 Loop. Place was clean, everyone was really friendly and kept the teas full. staff had each others back when it came to service… great concept… Salsa had a kick that lingered in the back of your throat, Queso was a little runny, not watery, due to how hot it was, still had«Clingage» to the Chips… Yet flavorful… As for the Chips, not a fan, either old or were fried in old grease. Not sure if they are in house made, but that was a small flaw. Wife went with the beef enchiladas(2), double rice… And I quote«some of the best beef I have had»…trust me Unilocalers, this is a statement… Rice was fluffy and fresh with a great flavor compared to some we have spooned thru… Myself…tore into the Enchilada Verdes… What is this… Moist chicken. and the Verde sauce was awesome… Same love for the rice and the beans were tasty, once again a little runny. Both of our plates were served«HOT».“HOT”…not to often do you have to blow on almost every bite. But hey, keeps your food warm while you eat… All Around great trip and close to home.
