This place is very cool! I love coffee and love to try it all over and this place was pretty good. The decoration is probably my favorite part then the coffee. Very artistic. Coffee is good, not a lot of options for pastries though. Would go a again! Definitely try it out! People are nice there as well.

This is such a unique, wonderful coffee shop! I love the art on the walls and the unique retail area. Not to mention that the coffee is delicious and the food is fantastic! The service is also top notch and best of all, friendly. Can’t say enough about this place. Do yourself a favor and check it out!

small coffee bar on cedar lane… pretty underestimated. i wish i had a chance to sip an iced latte in one of their signature flutes, but i just grabbed a hot cappuccino to go. nice robust flavor, and they use fair trade beans! they also have sandwiches and baked goods from balthazar. best coffee near work, will be back.

One of my favorite places on earth! The food is good and the coffee is fantastic. The ambiance is great with art hanging on all the walls. They have board games to play with buddies while sipping on your café latte or coffee table books, mostly about music, and even doodle pads strewn about. The owners are super chill and have no problem with you lounging around for hours. My friends and I love to hang out here. Some days they play your vinyl if you bring it in and they have in store concerts. They also sell kitschy items on the side that are super cool. Honestly, this place is heaven

Have I seriously possibly found that illusive fabulous local coffee shop that I’ve been trying to find forEVER??? Have now been here twice and love the place. Walked in for the first time to get some work done after reading the rave reviews here. Very cute place, smaller than what I had envisioned for some reason, and a lot brighter but totally ok with that. Would love to see what this place looks like at night. Adding that to the To Do List. Few small tables against the wall, ‘bar’ with stools against the front window, and a coffee table with some comfier chairs in the middle of the room. Owner(pretty sure he’s the owner) was behind the counter and helped me navigate the coffee offerings. After smelling the 3 specialty beans they had for the day, I chose one and he quickly started working on my order. Also ordered a cranberry scone which was delicious! The coffee was even better and I had to force myself to drink it slowly so I could savor it. Refills are only a little over $ 1. Plus they serve all coffee in real mugs, unless you want it to go. While I was working, one of the baristas came over and offered me a sample of their Mexican Hot Chocolate. It was freakin amazing and was tempted to order one but I normally try to stay away from all the sugar. Food is limited to mainly pastries/sweets. They have one(or two?) soups of the day. When I went the first time it was mushroom and I’m not a fan of the shrooms so I didn’t try it. The second time I had some tomato soup and it was delicious! Tasted ‘healthy’ and wasn’t to heavy. Just what I was looking for. I also tried the cheese and fruit plate. You get a choice of one of the cheeses they have for the day(they had special brie and gouda when I ordered) and then it comes out with a nice portion of a french baguette and fruit. I had blackberries and a bosc pear. I was seriously INHEAVEN! Free wifi is available, just ask someone at the counter what the password is. So yes, I will be back to Blast… ASAP!

Praise God there is finally a quality coffee shop in this area! I have had a number of their espresso drinks and have been very pleased with all of them. When making their mochas they don’t use icky syrups for their chocolate, but actual chocolate shavings that melt into the drink when the milk is steamed. The result: a smooth taste that blends well with the espresso. So far everything I have had there has been wonderful! — My only negative comment would be that one time I found a bit of grounds in the bottom of my cold-brew, but I’m willing to overlook it as long as I don’t find that again. The atmosphere is awesome. You can bring work to do, just chill with friends, or admire the ever-changing artwork. Its on the smaller side, but everyone is very friendly.

Wow, an espresso bar in Teaneck?! Fantastic, if you ask this espresso snob. They pulled a perfect espresso and delighted me with a little cookie on the side. The baristas were well trained and it showed. The atmosphere was pleasant. I can say this is probably the best espresso in Bergen County!

LOCALGEMALERT!!! I am all kinds of in love with this place, I just don’t know what to do with myself. Cedar Lane has many types of businesses, ranging from traditional to trendy. Despite the eclectic mix, this business row has been in dire need of something hip and energetic. Enter Blast Art Gallery and Coffee Bar. Locals swarm here for their java fix and quick nibbles. They know what’s up, because the coffee here is LIQUIDGOLD! I think about their fragrant yet smooth latte every time I drink my janky(but necessary) morning cup o’ joe. The space is small but cozy and as a result seating is limited. The owners, Scott and Sarah, are delightful and very involved in the business operations. Scott skillfully worked the coffee bar, while Sarah worked the pastry station and cash register(a Macbook btw). Blasts stocks up on goodies from the crème de la crème of local vendors, like Zoe’s for pastries and artisanal bread from Balthazar. There is nothing better on this earth than pairing your liquid gold with a decadent brownie from Zoe’s. NOTHING! 1 med latte + 1 regular coffee + 1 chocolate croissant + 1 brownie =$ 12.20. Pricey but WORTHIT, obviously! Be sure to grab a Blast Challenge drink card. Buy 10 drinks get 1 free. TRUST you’ll want it because this place is all kinds of wonderful.
