ACUPUNCTURE THAT DOES MORE THAN GET TO THE POINT!
In Fort Lee it seems that there is an acupuncturist on every corner. So when we were looking for an acupuncturist and a chiropractor all in one office that also had Saturday appointments, we had more than a few options to choose from. But let’s face it, language can be a barrier. In speaking with several of the acupuncturists in Fort Lee, there definitely was a clear language barrier which stopped me from booking an appointment with any of them.
Fortunately, when looking for offices that accepted CIGNA, I came across Dr. Lavitan’s office in my search results. His receptionist was welcoming and made us aware that the doctor had early morning appointments available on Saturdays. This was just fine for my wife and I as we like to get our errands done early. So when she told us that she had appointments open at 7:00AM, we were more than happy to go.
Upon arriving, the doctor pretended to be a patient and was saying some funny things about his proprietorship. This routine of his was still funny even though the hour was so early in the day. This set the tone for our entire visit and future visits. The doctor injects humor in what can be an uncomfortable situation and is a natural at putting his patients at ease.
He also offers a wide variety of herbal remedies and is a big proponent of holistic medicine. So if you feel like you have hit a wall with your regular doctor, you might want to pay his office a visit. My wife and I have had nothing but pleasant experiences at his office and we look forward to our next regularly scheduled appointment. Perhaps he missed his calling in stand-​up comedy. But for all we know, that might be the real reason that he is away when he says that he’s attending «conferences.»
