Does anyone know if it’s still open or if it’s forever closed? I used to go here many years ago, good music, many rooms and outside bar.

Waste! of money! it’s $ 10 to get in, which is reasonable for a club, but then the drinks are crazy prices. the cheapest drink you can get $ 10. Don’t even think about coming here without at least $ 50 in cash! You can buy a drink with a card unless you spend $ 20, and if you don’t they will charge you $ 20 anyways. The cups are extremely small! and you need about 4 drinks to even get tipsy. This place might as well be a scam! Don’t go here!

This club thinks it’s in Miami. Its drinks are overpriced. They don’t provide tap water, but instead charge you $ 5 for bottled water. They put you on a guest list then charge you to get in anyway. Then, THEN the skanky wait staff rudely kicks you out of a place that was supposedly reserved, but there were no signs saying«reserved.» while spilling your drink, not even apologizing, and getting in your face when you ask for her to replace it with a new one from the bar, saying: It was only half full ANYWAY.” Not to mention the inattentive bar tenders who sit on their phone and don’t look up to see you standing there waiting for them to make you another drink … that you are paying top dollar for in Teaneck, NJ. REALLY? I will never waste my money here again.

Great LOCAL spot. Prices are a little cheaper than NYC –bottle service wise. Be sure to get there early if you require bottle service– it gets jam packed by 11:30pm in the main club/lounge/bar area. Music rotation is good depending on the DJ –hiphop, r&b, latin, reggae and Top 40. The sound system was horrible when it came time to spin the Top 40. On the flipside, the dancers keep the crowd hype and the bottle service girls wear little to nothing, a plus for the fellas ;). I LOVE the patio lounge– especially in the summer!

Just horrible, smelly and low class — Never, ever again. Smelled like a wet, moldy mop. Not my cup of tea.

Oh Ultra why do you exist? Charging 12US dollars for a mixed drink served in a cup you rinse your mouth with at the dentist is not funny. Forcing to use a coat check that’s 4 dollars is just mean. I see the game your playing and im not bying it, see you in Nevuary

I’m not really a club person. With that being said. I was here for my friends birthday celebration last weekend. Thankfully she got bottles and we were in the VIP section. The place is nothing special. It’s advertised as this nyc style club but in reality joeys in clifton was bigger and more lavish lol. My friend had a birthday package and was given $ 5 drinks til 11. I got there at about 1045 and went for my 5 $ drink. Was on line forever and when I finally got served it must have been after 11. well after I ordered, expecting a $ 10 bill I ended up paying $ 18 for a whisky and coke and a glass of white wine. The bathroom only has 2 stalls and the lines are longgg! The bottle service is ok and there are some entertaining dancers etc. It’s basically what I’d expect out of a club in Teaneck.

Its a poppin party ! Feels like your in a diddy video w all the lights n shit . We got bottle service which is why i liked it. You get escorted in and the bottle girls are cool(semi ratchet). If your group is going to drink then spend a little more on bottles and avoid having to push your way around and wrestle for the bartender who are prolly taking pics for likes at any given moment By midnight the place was packed ! Even VIP smh. You guys need to invest in better ventilation ! It was so fucking hot ! And it wasnt just me everybody was melting ! Poor girl came in w straight hair and left looking like Don King ! Its a good time the only thing is they close at 2:30 ish … Thatd why i rather drive another 15 min to NYC

Ultra bar is a very cool place.(Saturday Night; No Cover was on a guest List)) Very diverse crowd. The venue itself was very nice and maintained. I can not comment on the bar b/c we had bottle service which was well taken care of by our barely dressed yet very nice servers. Some key things to know, there’s more than one room. I only noticed the second room when I went to the restroom yet I didn’t bother to go b/c the main area was so active. There was a mix of music and people that reminded me of a high school dance… Spanish music, then club, then reggae, then hip hop and that circle kept going. I would go back under the same conditions. Lastly and likely most important the address is not what’s listed ! The club is actually around the corner from the address listed which had we not been able to call someone who was already there would have been annoying enough to go somewhere else !

Whatever you do please make sure your bartenders are not overcharging you for your drinks. I’ve been there 3 times and I’ve noticed almost every time I get my change after ordering a drink, its always short or they charge extra. Im sure its a way for them to make extra money by hoping you dont notice or are drunk so keep track. Especially at the front bar.

First you park a mile away then get to the door for overpriced admission. This place used to be okay but it’s been downhill since then. Really a disappointment. Stopped going there because of weird crowds and nothing special about it. Recently reopened as LifeUltraBar but. Who cares?

This review is for the club not the food. VERY expensive. Drinks are $ 8.00 — $ 12.00 for a small plastic cup. Cover is $ 10-$ 15. Paid 10 bucks to get in and there were only 8 people inside. Saturday(Latin) nights have more people if the DJ is good, but still better clubs. Drive a few extra minutes up Roure 4 for Studio 4.

Top reasons not go here on a Saturday night: 1.Music is outdated and multiple rooms does not mean multiple dj’s: There are 2 choices of music. There is a lounging area to the left, a dance floor to the right and a backyard that all play 90’s music up to 2003. To make matters worse certain songs are played more than once within the hour. The«Latin Room» is cramped. Imagine two and a half parking spots and 40 people packed in tightly trying to twirl at the same time. 2. Promoters are liars: My friend called up to organize a birthday list. They told her her lady friends would be free and her guy friends would pay a discounted $ 10 cover if they all arrived there before 11. She made it clear she was not interested in bottle service but wanted to make sure her party would be able to get through the door without much hassle. When the party arrived the first thing the promoter did was try to take her credit card for($ 150) bottle service in order to let her guests in. She refused to pay and demanded to speak to management but the promoter decided to drop the subject and let us in. 3. Cover: It is my understanding that cover should be paid when a) a good(as in current and relevant) dj /band is playing for the night b) you are in a highly trendy chic nyc club c) the club is phenomenal. there are fountains and lights and waterfalls with flames all around. The music played here is not worth the 15 bucks they ask for. If you want to listen to «If i was a rich girl» or «No scrubs» twice within the hour be my guest but i honestly think the place should advertise itself as such. If it wants to be known as the last place in NJ where you can listen to music you danced to at your high school prom eight years ago than it should say that in bold letters so the rest of us don’t go. Teaneck is a but nice little town but it’s not nyc. Enough said. And as for the club it’s decent but i didn’t even see a fish tank or a fake plant for that matter. It’s not a classy place. Therefore, there is no reason one should have to pay a cover.

This is a perfect spot if you’re from the area and do not want to go too far. The place is pretty big and has different rooms including an outside area that is surprisingly cute! The music depends on what night it is. Saturday is typically a «Latin Night» but also includes popular songs(top 40 and Hip-hop) and other kind of music. I have always had a good time when I have gone and have stayed dancing till the lights come on cause the music is so good. They also have a Spanish room where they play Salsa, Bachata, Merengue and Reggaeton.

My friend had suggested this spot to go to for dancing n drinks and I’d figured it wasn’t so far so why not since we didn’t want to hit the city based on our budget! Well where do I start… First they charge you about $ 15 to get in. Luckily we were on a guest list so it was free before 11. Secondly they make you wait on a long line to get in. But we just walked to the front since we were on a list. As we walk in it’s empty … So why the long line? And I realized they want u to wait til it’s after a certain time so you have to pay to get in! So were in … Pretty nice place main room have a big dance floor and VIP section and big bar. Walk thru and and find a small Latin area with tables and a small bar in the walkway area. Then it has a nice big outdoor patio with tables and some couches with a bar. So no complaints about the space and décor. My biggest complaint is for this big club they have ONE bathroom with TWO(yes two) Stalls… WTF! Needless to say I spent most of my time in line for the bathroom! HORRIBLE AND one last thing the cost of a drink was a little pricey. For a ciroc coconut and jack and coke it was $ 25 … Although the solo cups they gave you were a decent size … for this i could have gone to the city! And the DJ could have been better … He was playing alot of old school music but still entertaining So I hope my review help and I hope it helps this club by building another bathroom with more then two stalls Overall we had fun and enjoyed ourselves because we have fun wherever we go… Except for the time wasted on line for the bathroom.

You have to wait on line to get into this place whether it is full or not, unless you are multiple hot(or not hot but trollopey). I think the cover was a little high either 15 per person or 15 for the lady and 20 for myself. Really cool inside, alot of space to hang out, the outside is really nice, you don’t have to wait to long to get a drink. The drinks were a little pricey, NYC prices, but the atmosphere was pretty relaxed, clubby inside and loungy outside. The DJ played a really weird mix of music, switching from song to song every 45 seconds, I don’t get it. I would go back only if I new someone or was on a guest list.

My biggest pet peeve with Ultra Bar is that it’s Super. Expensive… If you’ve been searching for a place where you can spend NYC money minus the NYC fun try Teaneck’s Ultra Bar! Seriously bring a ton of money because your G&T will cost you and arm and a leg and come with a straw the size of a garden hose so you can suck it down extra fast! That was pretty harsh — besides that it’s an OK spot. The outside area is really nice, there are outdoor couches to chill around and usually an array of different neat things depending on season hanging above your head in the courtyard… The crowd is mostly pretty young. The inside is very clubby. If you love fist pumping dance music you will be right at home! Personally I try and stay away from this place unless it’s summertime and I can hang out outside. PS bring extra money for cover!

Been here twice… This place is not the place to go if you like anything other than really bad house music. I’m a girl who likes most types of music, but the DJ here is horrible. I went with some girlfriends hoping to be able to dance to a little top 40 and hip-hop and was thoroughly disappointed. This place was better when it was Geronimo’s. We were so bored, that my one friend actually fell asleep at the bar. I’m over 25, so getting hit on by a 22 year old kid was not fun for me. I’m not sure if there was anyone there in my age range. The sad thing is that I live TWO blocks from the place and will NEVER go here again. It was just THAT bad. I’m still looking for a nice place for young professionals to party in Jersey(seems impossible), but Ultra Bar was definitely not it. By far the crappiest lounge I’ve been to in years.

I went to Ultra Bar for the first time for«White Party»(as in white color theme clothes like P. Diddy party… you don’t have to be «white» to get in) and was pleasantly surprised to find out that there’s a pretty hip and spacious club in the middle of so-not-happening small suburban town of Teaneck! Who would’ve thought such place existed??? Considering the location, this is as trendiest as you can get on this side of Hudson River especially around this neighborhood. I give them 4 stars for the ambiance and drinks, but can’t give more than 3 at most for the music… they need a better DJ.
