What a won wonderful place! Larry knew his wines with wit and love, though they had food for sale they allowed us to picnic. Wonderful flavorful reds.

Wow! What truly awesome wine experience! Not just a tasting, but a comfy friendly atmosphere where you had a chance to enjoy your wine and get to know your surroundings. This was the first winery where we were offered table side wine tasting service. Tami our waitress was amazing! Not only did she juggle several tables with table side wine tastings, her passion for the wine was contagious! 7 tastings later, a brief encounter with the owner, Steve Chapin, my husband and I left with an amazing wine experience and a fab bottle of wine! A big thank you to the Chapin family for making this a true memory! Can’t wait to get back for another round!

Good wines, good service, one of the newer vineyards so it’s not crowded and relaxing to visit. They are also open to picnicking.

I hate to open the reviews for anyone with just a star but after spending a little while at Chapin’s it was clear that it is not a friendly atmosphere. I took friends from out of town to the wineries in Temecula last Saturday. They have a small little girl 18 months old, she is actually pretty well behaved(trust me, I am not that fond of kids). We sat at an outdoor table and asked for 3 glasses of Merlot and two Sauvignon. We let the kid walk among the vineyards with her mothers supervision and when she came back to the table she walked around the wood deck back and forth. There were not that many people there anyway(I should have known) and she did not appear to be bothering anyone. The owner came out and told the mother that the child was not allowed to walk around, but was kind of mean about it! Actually, the wine was not that good so we left the unfinished glasses on the table and went elsewhere. Thank God we ended up at Wilson Creek and Weins, plenty of people sitting on blankets and kids running around. Great wine at both those places, great time! Avoid Chapin, for the wine and the attitude! Juan
