Great Winery, a bit deeper Into the vineyards of Temecula. Although if you love all that entails wine country as much as I do, well worth the semi-short travel. Great part is the scenic views and the several Indian motorcycles placed on display like an old country yard. It has the feel of a comfy winery, and an old garage. my flavor! The selections are great, very attentive employees and the patrons are a blast! I purchased a few bottles and can’t wait to enjoy them with some Temecula Cheese/Cigars!

I tend to go to Temecula twice a year for a long weekend. It is nice that it is only an hour drive, get to taste some wines(some consistently good), play some tennis and dine in the country area. Getting away from the hustle and bustle of OC. This was the first time visiting the Doffo winery and I have to say it is in top 3 wineries(as far as quality of wine and the quality of people who are working there, their knowledge, friendliness and just great customer service overall). It also helps that it is not that crowded and much more pleasant than dealing with buses full of loud and obnoxious bimbos attending bachelorette parties. Picked up special edition of wine made for the owner’s grandfather who turned 100 as well as another great bottle who the owner signed for me right then, with a special message to my dear friend who just retired. We will definitly be back here on our next trip! P. S.: If you are into bikes, they have very cool museum of bikes form all over the world, really somethign interesting.

What a treat starting off our Temecula winery tour at Doffo! We were in a group of 9 to celebrate a friend’s birthday. My boyfriend and I split one of the regular tastings and one of the premium tastings. Our favorites were the Cabernet Sauvignon, the Fiori, and the Paulina Sparkling. The Chimichurri seasoned oil was so delicious that we also bought a container for our evening meal.

This is a great little winery to check out if you’ve got some time to hang out. I like that they allow you to walk through their vineyards and peek around, and there’s a great picnic area at the top of a hill with a beautiful view. Gorgeous place to sit! I also noticed that they put in an area for weddings that’s adorable. Service here has always been personal and wonderful, but I’m sad to say I haven’t fallen in love with any of their wines. They aren’t bad, just not my favorite. They’re also on the pricier side so I have little incentive to grab a bottle. But the motorcycle collection is adorable and the ambiance for sitting outside with a glass is quite nice.

Andrea–(cutie with the cute man bun) absolutely fabulous!!! We can not say enough positive things about this winery. By far one of the best in Temecula. The late harvest Zinfandel is worth every single penny.

We were told that Doffo was the best red wines in the valley. We got there early and wandered a little — looking at some of the 150 motorcycles on the property. The attendants in the room were friendly and accommodating. The tastings seemed like they were smaller pours than most wineries. The wines were pretty good, but a different style that I am used to. We bought a bottle of a very interesting wine — the 2015 Rosario — a Cabernet Sauvignon Rose. It is a nice — fresh — fruity rose that we can’t wait to relax on the patio with a snack. It was okay.

This place was a wonderful experience because of the wonderful red wines that they serve here. I thoroughly enjoyed their Zinfandel and their Port. The owner was cordial and helped us out and we certainly had a great time. It’s beautiful here and they have a wonderful assortment of vintage motorcycles and scooters.

I am going to give them 4 stars versus 3 because we were there on the busiest day! We visited on the Saturday before Valentine’s Day-everyone had the same plans for the weekend. Our tasting experience was pretty poor because of how crowded it was. My friend loved all their wines but I was not as impressed. It could have been because it was our 3rd winery of the day and because of the less than stellar experience. They were selling Empanadas outside which we had with the Malbec. They were excellent and well paired! I would give them another visit in the future.

Zulma Doffo, Marcelo’s wife, is a true Doffo Brand Ambassador, handles most of the«behind-the-scenes» operation, and is known locally as the Chimchurri Queen. She is also a great tour guide; showing off the winery grounds from the vineyard, event spaces, and you might be able to see some winemaking in action(depending on the time of year you visit). There are some amazing spaces here for company parties or retreats, weddings, family picnics and reunions. On the weekends, food trucks make a stop here where you can enjoy gourmet food while enjoying your favorite glass of wine on the terrace. One of Orange County’s food trucks, Piaggio Gaucho on Wheels, can be found here on occasion. Here are tasting notes on some of the Doffo wines: * 2014 Viognier: dry; peach aroma; mild grapefruit notes. * 2012 Motodoffo Red Table Wine: dry; cherry aroma; berry and peppery notes; would pair well with pork. * 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon: cherry aroma; rich and robust with peppery and oak notes. * 2012 Cabernet Sauvignon Private Reserve: smooth, rich, and robust; easy drinking. * 2012 Malbec: high flavor notes which work well with Doffo’s Chimichurri on toast or even smothered on a marbled steak. * 2013 Petite Sirah: dry; fruity with blueberry and blackberry notes; color is beautiful with a fluorescence. * Syrah Reserve: bright, delicate flavors that tease the palate and dissipate quickly. * 2011 Zinfandel Vintner Selection: jam-like aroma; jam and plum notes; dry finish; would pair well with lamb. * Paulina Cuvee: Muscat adds sweetness; reminiscent of a spritzer.

First of all they get 1 star for being a small business, & I support small businesses! But I do want to recommend making guest feel more welcome, even if you’re busy! I don’t believe for one second that this place did that for us at all. The second star is for their Chimichurri, it is to die for! But other than those two points I’ve made, that about sums up the best of it… We did the $ 10 wine tasting and got about a teaspoon!!! of each wine to try, not really enough to fully fall in love or even really enjoy it. From what I do remember their Zin was good. Our friends from a larger group bought a bottle and that’s the only one we really got to taste and enjoy. Oh well, at least I feel better about my membership at another winery near by.

I visited Doffo for the first time and I definitely won’t be back. They have a very small tasting room and a very small wine tasting menu. One thing I loved about the winery is the motorbike theme throughout the space which displayed several bikes and scooters.

Excellent wine(bought a bottle of cab), great chill spot to enjoy your wine and cheese, & make sure to go explore! They have a beautiful patio area where you can see their vineyard and it’s decorated with barrels, mopeds, little bikes, and a windmill. They also gave out sample of their homemade sauce. It’s delicious, but it’s fully packed with loads of garlic, so beware of stinky breath! Don’t forget to some photos by their mopeds! It’s extremely cute!

Our party of 6 had polar reactions to just about every wine. You either love it or you feel nothing at all. Which, I suppose, is not the polar opposite, but I’ve always had the impression that one cannot truly hate a wine. It’s either a great wine or your just sipping grape juice. For the afternoon, for me, it was the latter. There’s a $ 10 and $ 20 tasting with the latter offering a couple extra tastes, some of which are ‘special edition’ versions of those on the normal tasting. Take a look at the bikes. It’s at the very least something for the guys to do while our better halves sniff and splash wine in the garage. Which is where the tastings are. I would stick to some of the larger operations if you don’t go to Temecula often. You’ll have a more consistent experience with more tried and true offerings.

The wines were really interesting and tasty for a pretty reasonably priced tasting. The server was also very knowledgeable about the wines and very friendly. I know that this is a small mom-and-pop operation, but when you are serving liquor of any sort you should make sure that you have water available and not just water for sale. Out of principle I did not want to have to pay for bottled water when according to California law you are required to have water available by tap for your customers. Still happy we came, but I hope they change this policy soon

I am going to start by saying I REALLY liked the wines here. They were pretty tasty. The staff behind the bar was also pretty awesome. Independently owned empanadas stand outside. WOOHOO. So why 3 stars instead of 4 or 5? There is really 2 reasons for it. The first is the décor and ambiance, not really my scene. Didn’t like the motorcycles or the style of the tasting room. The second and more important reason, I did not like that they charge you for your tasting the second you walk in the door like you may run away at any second, before you have a chance to potentially pick out some wines, OR join the wine club. I also do not like that they do not comp your first set of tastings even if you do join. Especially since they request you take your first shipment with you. If this was not the case I would have become a member but instead I moved on and joined across the street.

u I fell in love with this place. I love to wine taste and when I get a chance I drive up to Temecula and try different wineries. We were referred through another winery to come and check this winery out so we decided to stop by. The first thing I noticed were the awesome motorcycle museum that they have all around the winery. The atmosphere was so nice and relaxing perfect to come with your family and friends. If you’re looking for great views this place is pretty amazing. The staff is also super friendly and are willing to help you out. Diana helped us out when we came and she was super nice and helpfull. They offer amazing wines, mostly red but great choices for a great price. I will for sure be back.

Got buzzed. I couldn’t tell the difference with the different wines by the end of the night. Had empenadas from this place while wine tasting. I am not big on wine but this was a good experience. So cheap too in price.

Every wine I tried here was fantastic. Probably some of the best wines I had on this trip to four wineries. Their reds were the best of this trip to Temecula. We had our choice of two tastings, a $ 10 tasting and a $ 20 tasting. The wine in my $ 10 tasting was just as good as the wine in my friend’s $ 20 tasting, so you can’t go wrong with either. What I liked about this winery besides the great wine was the gorgeous outside patio. The property is beautiful too. What I didn’t like about this place is how small and cramped their tasting room is. You are bumping elbows with everyone and that doesn’t make for a comfortable experience. The staff was nice, but not as friendly as I’ve experienced at other wineries. Another con is that this was the first winery that wanted to charge $ 5.00 to keep the glass! Not my favorite winery, but it was great. I would come back here when they’re not so busy, perhaps a weekday.

Beautiful winery with an awesome motorcycle museum. There are some great areas that were quite picturesque. This is a great place for groups to just relax, taste wine, and nibble on some cheese/fruit. I didn’t find a wine that I was crazy over(neither red or white) but the company made it great. I sort of felt that the entire time the son of the winery was trying to sell us stuff whether it was empanadas or the chimichurri– granted a good amount of people in my group purchased the chimichurri because it was delicious, but I’d rather be in an environment where I wasn’t bothered with that. I was hoping I’d find a bottle of wine that captured me enough to take and share back home, but didn’t end up making a purchase.
