Chris welcomed me the moment I came through the door. I ended up sitting at the bar and he was quick to inform me what special and deals they had. Chris, the bartender, was quick with whatever drink I ordered and can make some pretty delicious mixed drinks. This was actually my first time here but I’ll definitely come back thanks to Chris.

Great grilled chicken focaccia sandwich and good selection of beers. I’ve also had dinner there and it was delicious. The tomato basil soup was excellent.

Tldr service was nice, but the mac and cheese wasn’t. I am not a fan of penne pasta as it doesn’t ever hold the sauce. I said that to the waitress and she told me I wouldn’t have a problem. I added chicken and when I received my first try the top Half had no sauce at all. I could pick them up with my fingers. My fingers were dry. They were nice enough to give me a second bowl with more sauce… the sauce ran through the noodles like water. Which was why I asked what the sauce was like. If u wanted cheese soup with penne I would have ordered soup… I gave up after that.

I went in today, i forgot my shades in the restroom and right after me was an employee, i went to cash out and went back to the restroom to find my ray bans and no employee could careless. I would never come back. Their silver ray bans.

I’ll be honest I’ve never eaten here, but I’ve definitely had plenty to drink. They have a flat out amazing selection of beer and wine. I’m not sure you could try them all. The ambiance is also spot on, casual but still very nice. The patio seating is right out of a movie. Sometimes they have live music, and you can come here to watch a game.

Everything was BOMB! We had a party of 7 and all tried eachother a food because we all were raving about how great our food was! I had The Brew Burger and it was juicing and exploding with flavor… my mom and husband had Chicken and waffles… BESTDAMNCHICKENANDWAFFLES any of us have ever had! Kids had sliders and dad said the fish and chips were awesome! Besides the food, our waiter was amazing as well. Very attentive, kind, quick to get anything we needed. We will definitely be coming back and can’t wait!

Absolute horrible service. I’ve been waiting for over 80 minutes for a table the only table they have available is right in front of the band asked speak to management nowhere to be found would not recommend whatsoever. Management feel free to contact me. ****Update 5÷20÷2016 I was contacted by the manager of Crush and Brew, Trinidad, and he offered my wife and I a complimentary meal. We were seated immediately, our server Lauren was so nice and attentive, the food was excellent(we had a salad as an appetizer and the Greek and Meat Lovers flat bread) and our entire meal was comped to make up for the previous weekend. We are so happy with the customer service we will definitely be back.

Waited 2 hours, never received my salad. That’s the only thing we ordered. It doesn’t take 2 hours to throw some lettuce leaves together. The drinks were good but you have to sit at the bar or else you won’t get your drink as well and have to go thirsty. The artistic architecture and design was cool. The band was good. Only go here if you are on a starvation diet.

Serve only local breweries and wineries — awesome! Everything is made from scratch! Craft beer selection was great. Burgers were very tasty — can’t beat their meat selection! Fries were perfectly crunchy and seasoned! Wine selection was impressive! This place is worth spending a little more money … Especially since they make their own ketchup ANDRANCH!

It can get crowded and loud on a Saturday night(not great for a quiet romantic evening) but makes a night out with friends fun. The live music made it hard to talk some of the time, but was still pretty good. The food was good and the server was great.

One of my friends took us here after a long morning/afternoon of wineries… And it was not disappointing. As you could probably already tell, I’m a huge fries person… And their fries here so we’re so good! We had to order three batches of them. Along with the amazing fries, I had a grilled cheese, which was super buttery and delicious as well. My whole meal was superb! On the other hand, one of my friend had gotten a burger, which was too much on the dry side. I took a bite of it, nothing to special. It tasted like a regular burger.(In my option in n out tasted better) lol. I decided to get this watermelon taquila drink, which was more on the sweet side. I could hardly taste that wonderful flavor of taquila in it!!! But, it did come with a ball of watermelon, which was a great add to the drink.

Here in Temecula — eat at LOCAL restaurants. Walked in, not busy, seated immediately. Server was friendly(Alex). brought our wine and took our order. She was friendly and cheerful. The local Sauvignon Blanc was good. We moved inside because it was cold outside. The food was rather disappointing. I had the Caesar Salad with chicken. The lettuce was good but the dressing was very bland and the chicken was kind of dry. As for the BLT Wrap, it should be called the LBT because it was mostly L, with a little B, and barely any T. But I have to say that the soup was AWESOME. While the service started off good it went downhill quite quickly. After the first small glass of wine I had to pour the rest of the bottle. And after the food was delivered she never checked back until we were done. Then she had someone else drop the check and take it back to run the card. The place was not busy at all. I only saw like three tables being served. There were more employees in the restaurant than guests. There are too many restaurants around to come back here again. Too bad, because the soup was really good.

Great food selection! Wine flights are available at $ 12 a piece(great price). They have craft beers on draft. Eclectic spot with live music. Perfect location. Can’t wait to go back.

On a day out and about with my mom we decided to try something new here in Old Town. The exterior of Crush and Brew caught our attention so we headed in! The overall vibe of the place is great and the bar is definitely unique. We made it in before the dinner crowds so it wasn’t too crowded. Our server brought us the lunch and drink menus and it was nice to see how they support their local vendors by selling their beers, wines, etc. I stuck with a seasonal Hangar 24(a go to of mine). For lunch we decided to each get a half order of each of the flatbread pizzas they offer, bacon and apple and Brussels sprout and pork belly. I wasn’t disappointed! The crust was great on both pizzas and the combo of flavors was great. Ended with an empty plate for sure. Besides the great food, the service was great as well. I didn’t get our waitresses name but she was speedy and efficient and really upbeat without being too pushy. Overall, it was an awesome experience I’d recommend to others.

Went in here last night for dinner w/2 friends from work, one has a membership… if you live in Temecua, this sounds like a good deal. She said there’s different memberships, so I don’t know all the details, but it’s like $ 38/month and you get a discount on food and 6 free drinks a month. So that sounds like it pays for itself. If I lived out there, I would probably be a member. We had already had an appetizer and 2 drinks at 1909, so we got right to it. I had the Brew Burger, and a glass of Sauv Blanc. My burger was pretty good, there was something about it that was a weird flavor and I can’t figure out what. My complaint would be the fries… I sort of expect all those craft beer and wine places to have Gastropub menus, which this does, but the fries are so clearly frozen fries, like fries you’d get at Denny’s. The ketchup is weird, I didn’t like it. Friends had a chicken sandwich and the chopped salad, looked good. Service was friendly and prompt, I’d return, especially if my friend with the membership meets me there! What a deal! We didn’t have to pay for any of our wine with the membership. Nice!

I am reviewing the mussels because they are the absolute best! A full bowl of mussels, broth and bread. The broth is so richly flavored but not fishy at all. Dipping the garlic bread that came with it made the dish a full meal and exquisite. The mussels had a sweetness to them the elevated them beyond all others we have tried, who would think in the middle of old town Temecula that you could get such delicious mussels. The red wine flight was not the best but went well with mussels. I had an old fashion with Makers Mark and it was really good and a 2 ounce pour! I would go back for the mussel dish all the time.

I’ve been coming to crush n’ brew for a few years and this review is so over due! I’m so in love with it all! The Greek Flatbread is my absolute favorite. At most other places I’m nervous to try other things once I fall in love with one item, not here. The lunch focaccia chicken sandwich is perfect. The classic burger is so juicy. The mac n cheese is to die for. Not to mention bacon Parmesan fries. The fries are the best kind of combo of crispy and mooshy :) and they have an amazing house ketchup . But the drinks! I’ve had most of the cocktails, all so unique and fresh. My fav the da vida, it’s so refreshing. Great wine choices and tastings. Always recommend the local black market hefe. Also, the atmosphere and location are perfect. The life music is always on point as well as their play lists. And by the way I hardly write reviews, but every time we go somewhere else I wish we would have just come here!

Came here after trying numerous spots in old town. Was good but not the best on a Friday night after 9pm. I’m no old fuddy duddy but the live music was was too loud and not that good. Had the tomato basil soup and it was great. Came with a side of bread that was perfect for dipping. Lil chunks of tomato made this perfect. Also had the steak fritas and had many mixed feelings about this. Was the best steak I’ve had in Temecula. The fries were nothing special. Honestly In and Out fries are better. The ketchup was a little tangy for my taste and the salad… not much to it. Just arugula with a dressing. For $ 27 I felt this was a little over priced. It would have been a better deal if there as a little more to the sides. The beer selection was good and on point with local brews. After 9pm seems this place is not a great dining option but more of a watering spot with friends.

We came here after a day of wine tasting, 10 people in our party, and no reservations. They were actually able to accommodate us pretty quickly and gave us an awesome private room. A few people in our party are from Temecula and had been wanting to come here as it’s owned by their favorite winery, Leoness. We all enjoyed our dinner but it’s definitely more of a bar feel than a restaurant feel. They have live music and it’s LOUD. So loud you have to scream over each other to be heard. We closed the doors of the private room and that took care of that. As far as the food: Fries: GET. Amazing amazing amazing. Cooked to golden perfection. We got truffle and gorgonzola and both were a hit, although I preferred the gorgonzola. Lobster mac and cheese: GET. Especially if you’re a fan of lobster. They are generous with the lobster and the flavor perfectly seeps into the pasta. So good. Slam burger: MAYBE. 6⁄10 of our party got this and only 2⁄6 liked it. I didn’t personally try it but the general complaint was that it wasn’t seasoned enough and wasn’t cooked well. Greek salad and Greek pizza: GET. We loved both. Bursting with Mediterranean flavors, light weight, and delicious. My major complaint: they need more bathrooms!!! There are two stalls for the entire restaurant and the lines are HUGE. Puts a damper in enjoying your dinner when you spend a majority of the time waiting in line…

Four wine tastings at four different vineyards later, you know people start getting hungry, or hangry! Our group of 15 settled on Crush and Brew since the broad menu selections appealed to everyone at the table. Since we made it just in time for happy hour, we started with a round of beers. I got the Aftershock Espresso Stout and it tasted exactly like an espresso without the bitterness. However, Uncle Dave also bought bottles of wine to share with the table. On my end of the table, we had Longboard’s Sauvignon Blanc, a crisp white with a bit of acidity. It was lovely. We didn’t just come here for more drinks(it was never ending!), so we ordered up some food to share. Between two other friends, we shared a flatbread, lobster mac n cheese and creole seasoning fries while I had the battered fish tacos to myself. There was only two anyway! Oh, we also got a half dozen oysters since they were Fanny Bay, and I had to get them. Plump and creamy, they were really nice! I would say the best dish of the night was the lobster mac n cheese. Although on the heavy side and best shared, it had the largest lump lobster meat I’ve seen compared to other places. Yes! What a day! Our server was extremely patient and helpful with our selections. With large parties, they handled it without a snitch! Good job and thank you for taking care of us :)
