This place still blows. Poor service, shitty attitudes and the food was meh — why oh why did I agree to be dragged back here. Wine list, why bother? They were out of every bottle we wanted. Salad? Brown leaves and soggy it sat so long. Just do us all a favor and close down already.

Very dirty bathrooms I’d say that’s indicative of how they run things here Very nice bartender guy that doubles as security on the weekends though ;)

This review is for the«club» it turns into at night. Ok first… what is the deal with serving everything in plastic? Are you kidding me this is supposed to be a classy restaurant and EVERYTHING is served in plastic, even when you get a shot they have little plastic shot cups, holy crap I can go to a dive bar and they are still serving their drinks in glass. tacky much? Thinking that by putting up some rainbow strobe light you bought from spencers is going to attract more people is amusing. Their drinks are quite expensive, this isn’t downtown san diego, no wonder your bar is completely empty. at least have some drink specials. The music is ok… far too much hip hop for my liking and the dance floor is situated poorly, a couch protrudes halfway into the entrance of it, so awkward.

This place could really use some TLC and a deep cleaning. At night, it looks decent(and like a pretty happening place), but look closely and you will see it’s pretty filthy. Also, every time I walk by there’s a fight going on either inside or outside. As for the food, I haven’t eaten there and I wouldn’t either.

We came for lunch on a Friday. It wasn’t crowded, so the service was very attentive. We had the monte cristo sandwich, onion rings and stuffed mushrooms. The sandwich was delicious, but the onion rings were the best I have ever had! The staff is friendly and prices are very good. Try and see past poor previous reviews and give this place a shot, you won’t be sorry!

Arrived on a Thursday at 11 or so. Out service was quite friendly. I ordered a pesto Caesar salad, it was delicious. A hearty portion with only the freshest lettuce. My order was a little slow coming out, but from what the server implied the pesto dressing was just made. Well, it was worth the wait in my book. I would definitely return for a 2ns visit. This place seems like a less trendy spot on the Old Town main strip and I’m ok with that, less crowds and perhaps more attentive service.

Karaōke Wednesday’s are the only time I would go here. Lillian does a great job with the singers. Food is over priced though. Go there to drink and sing.

We went to The Edge for our anniversary on a Monday evening. The décor is very nice. Menu was small and not very creative for the prices. Waitress was very nice, but not very experienced in the menu or stylish service. My husband ordered a wedge salad and I ordered the shrimp cocktail as starters, we also ordered our main courses. You would think since they want folks to feel this is a high end eatery, and as such the appetizers & salads would be served properly, separate from the main course, with chilled forks. Instead everything arrived at once and my main course looked more like the appetizer version served on a tiny plate. Food was seasoned well, but by the time we finished the salad and shrimp the main course needed a warm up. We then ordered dessert, they only had 3 items to choose from, and of course the one we picked they were out of! LOL They did do a decent job on the cocktail. Just didn’t feel like the dining experience matched the décor. As someone who is a local foodie and has traveled and eaten at some crazy amazing places at all price points on this planet. I would suggest they get a couple more outstanding creative or seasonal menu items oor even chefs special signature dishes, that have a bit more variety. Maybe some New Orleans influence,(they could be doing more farm to plate around here with so many local sources), and fuller flavors, and spend a bit more time schooling the staff on how to wow the diners, After all Great service and food can translate into great tips and word of mouth. If they would up their game a bit, I’d be back!

Went there for dinner on Friday night. Food and service was great, didn’t have to wait in line, but we were there at 5:30. Little pricy but good quality food.

First time going to this place. The music was pretty good. They do have a cover charge of $ 5 after 10pm. The drinks are inconsistent. Some mixed drinks are pure soda and others are too strong and gross. The outside is ok but they have not replaced the outside heaters. Since they were ruined by the snow 5 months ago! They are there taking up room and completely useless. The woman’s bathroom was a mess. Over flowing stall and the cold water broke. so if wanted to wash your hands it was so hot you could barely stand to splash little at a time. From what I heard the men’s bathroom didn’t have water at all. Small dance area. I just didn’t find many positives to this dump. Will never go back.

AFTERHOURSREVIEW was meeting a group of friends and me and the fiancé arrived early, before they started enforcing the cover charge. oh, i dont even know where to begin with this place. its ok. not my type of crowd. music is good(after a few drinks). prices are… average $ 7 – 8 per drink. gets really crowded, the later it gets, but honestly i would prefer a place thats more chill. if you like to dance and get a little crazy on the small little dance floor with a bunch of drunks, then i suppose this place is for you.

This review is only for the«club» that it turns into on Friday nights. Haven’t been here at any other time. Temecula is not much of a place for nightlife, but having toured through Europe, going to a club like this that isn’t 6,000 square feet of people doing anything but dancing reminds me of the good ol’ days. People of all different shapes, sizes, colors and ages just cutting loose and having fun. The DJ on Friday nights is SOLID between 10pm and 12am, when the music is predominately hip-hop. Old school and new school blend seamlessly. Unfortunately, it’s not all great. Last time we went it literally took me 30 minutes to close out because one of the bartenders was busy hooking his friend and 12 other guys with free drinks and the female bartender was so incompetent that it took her the full half hour to serve two people. Seems they have added«waitress service», but the waitresses cannot close you out! That doesn’t help, guys! Also the small cheap plastic cups are just terrible — the kind that your mom and aunt sip Chardonnay out of at a tailgate party. If I’m drinking out of tiny plastic cups, I expect to pay $ 3 a drink. Upgrade to glassware guys — good thick stuff.

I’m visiting from out of town and was referred to this place by a local. I was excited to check this place out. When I got here I asked the bar tender what was on tap he said«coors light & that’s it.» Maybe because I’m a female and he thought I wouldn’t know any other beers, I don’t know? He then proceeded to tell me the rest, after I pointed out that there were clearly more beers on tap.(I didn’t have my contacts on & couldn’t see clearly). I then ordered a White Russian, he didn’t give me a straw to stir the damn drink — but gave everyone else straws to stir their drink at the bar. My friend offered to go around to the counter to ask someone else for a straw. Mind you it was the worst White Russian I had ever had, they didn’t ask my vodka preference either. The dude seriously did not give a shit. The girls I was with would have ordered far more but the bar tenders did not pay attention to us. It wasn’t even busy. I’m so disappointed. It is sad. I truly feel I was, along with the group discriminated against because we are women. I will never come back here. As a manager, whoever manages this place should really look into the service their employees are providing. They were so discriminatory. I would not want these employees representing me & my establishment & ruining my name.

Expensive for temecula but that wouldn’t be so bad if they had good service. Ours was terrible. I literally begged for my salad. She said I’m waiting on it! The third time I asked I was angry. And I was told by the hostess«hey I just started» then off course, they finally brought out the meals«cold» and had the nerve to bring my salad even after I told them I didn’t want it. No sign of management anywhere on a Saturday night. Finally the and check comes with an 18% tip included and us being overcharged for our drinks. OMGNEVERSTOPHERE. Curt

Place is fun. The music was great, the crowed is so so the place is very dark and red, the beers I feel are very expensive considering its not vegas. Other then that the bartenders are awesome, the place is very nice and the music gets your footloose.

I should have paid better attention to the Unilocal reviews. The place is nice and could have good potential. Here is where they go wrong: Bad wine glasses Service is Denny’s level; not fine dining Good was good but not warm enough; the Osso bucco had a sweet sauce; risotto was weird; veal was hard; NY steak was ok but not worth $ 34. We waited forever for water refill when the place only had three tables. When we were finished eating the check was brought; taken and returned but our plates were still all on the table. This is far from fine dining. It could have awesome potentials but they need to manage it better I would give it 2.5 stars if I could.

Not very good. First, the wait staff left much to be desired. Our waitress couldn’t remember our order(everything directly from the menu), had 0 recommendations on wine or food, and seemed disinterested. The food was poorly prepared(under cooked rice, over cooked veggies) and very average for flavor. Not worth the money they are charging. This is a fine dining restaurant in need of a fine chef and staff. I do not plan on a return trip.

We stayed in Temecula over the weekend and decided to go out for brunch instead of cooking. Only having been to Temecula once before for a wedding reception, I wanted to see Temecula in all it’s glory and really get a feel for the city. We went down to old town and unfortunately, there weren’t many options for breakfast or brunch at 1 pm. Craig P. had been to The Edge before, so we decided to grab lunch here. The restaurant ambiance is classy, with wine glasses on every table, but attire is still casual. He went with the Kobe Beef Burger($ 15 so I doubt it’s real Kobe) and trying to choose between the Chicken Salad Sandwich or NY-style pizza made in-house($ 10), I eventually went with the latter. I wasn’t disappointed with my choice, but was it the best pizza I’ve had? No, but it was a fresh, decent pizza and very filling. The best thing about The Edge was their live big band and jazz singer, Paul Elia. He was a fantastic singer and performer, and had he had CDs on site, I would’ve purchased one. The minute he sang Nat King Cole’s «Unforgettable,» I began tearing up just from sheer happiness. That’s how awesome he was. I love restaurants that play live jazz — there definitely aren’t enough of those nowadays. I wouldn’t mind coming back to The Edge for a nice dinner(there don’t seem to be very many options in Temecula) or drinks.

I have been here several times for the evening club/lounge/bar area of the Edge. If you have come to Temecula for some wine tasting, you know those places close at 5 or 6. The Edge is open late with a full bar and some dancing and walking distance to the hotels outside of the Old Town. The sound of dancing and music and aroma of vodka, I guess, will usually have my friends asking what this place is we wander in. They have a happy hour if you get there early enough and the wells are $ 5. But really its the late night hours, music, and the dancing that draws us for a last hurrah before we retire. It can really fill up and become quite the party. And you can stumble back to your hotel room.
