The best sushi in town. Eat in or take out. Consistently good. Busy on Fri day and Sat night. Servings are generous. TNT roll recommended. Sashimi huge.

We went here on Valentine’s Day, and loved it. The waitstaff were friendly and quick. The food was delicious. All pieces of fish were humongous. It was the priciest sushi we’ve ever paid for, but it was worth it!

The salmon and albacore sashimi were seriously steaks! So fresh and tasty. Also ordered the protein roll to stay light on the carbs. Lots of different fish that blended well together. Finished off with the ceviche roll loaded with fresh avocado and tomatoes. So delish! Couldn’t have been better!

My prior claim still stands! This is the best place for Sushi in Temecula! We dined in and had a pretty basic meal! Miso soup, edemame, hot saki and the Golden Hana Roll! Service here is on point, the sushi is super fresh, the sushi bar is always clean and decorated nicely! We always get greeted right away and unless it’s packed they seat you just as quick! We enjoyed our meal and highly recommend Jakes Hana! Oh and try the Golden Hana roll it’s sooooooooo good!

This place seriously has the best Japanese/Sushi around. My whole family loves this place. We take-out all the time and we also dine in. I recommend the Mexican Roll and Miso Baked Lobster Roll.

This is the most delicious Japanese food in town. The service was great and the atmosphere was really good. The food was amazing! All the details were taken care of with the radish in the tempura sauce to the salad dressing and the miso soup. All the flavors were so good. I got the chicken teriyaki with tempura veggies and my husband got the spicy pork with a yellow tail roll with spicy tuna. I can’t wait to go back!

On my second visit things were alleviated. Grumpy lady nowhere to be seen. Service was great, Sushi delicious, and beer on is on tap. Better than One Sushi in my books.

I used to love this place, and my family still does. Their food is great, and the service is exceptional. But what’s taken away the two stars for me is more personal. I was recently diagnosed with Celiacs Disease. Typically, sushi/Japanese restaurants are understanding of gluten and I can have a lot of items still. And when I ask for gluten free options, the staff typically have a great knowledge of their gluten free ingredients. However, this place does not have any knowledge at all about gluten, and what menu items and sushi had gluten in it. It was a constant battle of going back and forth with the waitresses and chefs. And when I asked, they didn’t have anything specifically for gluten free options. So it was a bit more stressful than I was used to for this establishment. They did have gf soy sauce… but that was it. However if you don’t need to be gluten free, then you have no worries and should go :) but if you like me, have Celiacs, I’d reconsider…

The décor is better than most other sushi restaurants in Temecula, though still not at par with a typical sushi restaurant elsewhere. The miso soup was pretty good, and a deal at $ 2 a bowl. The prices for the sushi rolls are pretty decent, considering how much you get for the price. Average price of special hand rolls is about $ 11. I ordered the Las Vegas roll and it was okay; didn’t know what to expect with the green addition to the roll, turned out to be a pretty strange consistency. My boyfriend and sister both ordered the crazy boy roll, which has crab, jalapeño, and is deep fried. It looked like a lot to eat at once, but they both said they enjoyed it. I will probably come back, seeing as my favorite sushi place in Temecula recently went out of business :(

Every time we come, we have a great time! The food is amazing and the staff is super nice. The sushi here is a little pricey compared to some restaurants but they serve quality food! The sushi has little rice compared to other places and they are always offering deals as well as a reward card at the restaurant so it’s hard to stay away. The first time my boyfriend and I came was because we «liked» Jake’s Hana Sushi page on Facebook which will offer deals from time to time. They were having a deal which stated that if you liked them on Facebook you get a free tempura appetizer. We love sushi so we were a little scared to try a new place, especially one that did not have unlimited sushi. The tempura was awesome! Crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. It’s like a party in your mouth. Than we got scallop hand rolls. Holy crap! They cooked the scallops to perfection! It’s like this little personal hand roll of goodness. We also got their Nigiri(raw fish over rice). One set was salmon and the other was yellow tail. Normally, Nigiri comes as a small piece of fish over a lot good size piece of rice. Well, Jake’s Hana Sushi changes up the game. They put a good portion of the raw fish over a tiny bit of rice so you can fully enjoy the texture and flavor of their sushi grade raw fish. Let’s just say, we feel like regulars at this sushi restaurant now. We especially love the Dream Roll. If you want a roll that is jam packed with sushi and little rice, this is the way to go! It has all types of fish(kind of like a rainbow roll) but also has seafood inside it. Than to top it off, it’s served with a small portion of seaweed salad. A definite must on the splurge side. Their miso soup and hot green tea are both also really good. The food is absolutely amazing and we continue to go here for date night as well as bring friends and family with us from time to time. You should come give this place a try too.

Great service. Good lunch specials. Chicken teriyaki was on the dry side, but the sashimi combo was delicious. I forget what we ordered, but the specialty rolls were solid.

My friend kept raving about Hana Sushi in Temecula, so my girlfriend and I went there and we both think it’s pretty good. Soon we find out that there are two Hana Sushi joints in Temecula that seem to be part of a small chain with only a few links. Apparently, Jake’s Hana Sushi is the better of the two. He decided to take us there, along with his girlfriend, so we did some wine tasting before we ate lunch. I’m sure that had something to do with our great moods when we entered the sushi joint, but eating sushi also always puts me in a good mood. Anyway, we went there around 2pm on a Sunday, so the restaurant was only around half full. My friend insisted that we order the basic Sashimi platter because he says the pieces are abnormally large. When it came out, we discovered that he wasn’t exaggerating in the slightest! Each piece of Sashimi was double or triple the width of any piece of Sashimi I’d had at other places. If we had a knife, we could have easily turned this 9-piece platter into 18 or more pieces! At under $ 20, i’s definitely a great bargain. We also had two large rolls and a plate of garlic edamame. The Hawaiian roll was very tasty, featuring fresh tuna on top and real crab inside. This game is a richness that krab just can’t match, and it wasn’t overly sweet. We also had a roll of the daily special menu that had fresh salmon on the outside with spicy tuna and fried shrimp on the inside. It was fantastic! The garlic edamame came with a generous portion of caramelized garlic that made it very tasty! This restaurant also has an extensive sake list, and I appreciate how they have unfiltered cold sake because it’s my favorite! They also have a nice selection of Asian beers. The décor is nothing special, but the food and service at Jake’s Hana Sushi is top notch!

Went w family to celebrate Father’s Day. This was a great meal. We tried several rolls and I was the only one brave enough to try the nigiri. In order of my favorite I liked the Golden Hana roll, Lobster roll, Ichiban roll and Cowboy roll. The salmon nigiri was a generous sized high quality piece of fish. Delicious. You’ve got to enjoy it with their ponzu sauce and green onions. Chicken gyoza was good also. Just crispy enough to have a nice texture without being over cooked. The service was great. We never had to ask for waters to be refilled. Our waitress checked in on us from time to time without getting annoying. They were confident enough to just us eat and enjoy the food. This was also my first time trying Asahi Black. I liked it. It was different than the regular light lagers that are often paired with seafood and poultry. It’s a black lager that tastes similar to Guinness but not nearly as heavy.
