DO NOT GET YOUR AUTOMOBILE SERVICED AT THIS LOCATION! PLEASE LEARN FROM MY MISTAKE TRUSTING THIS LOCATION OF SEARS AUTO.
After two weeks no one from Sears either the Temecula location or the Sears Corporate office has contacted me to resolve my issues with the way I was lied to and stolen from Sears Auto in Temecula. This location will lie to you, overcharge you, and create new service issues from their incompetence, or their deliberate act of poor auto repairs. I have now filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau, mailed a formal complaint to Sears Corporate asking for a refund and have opened a complaint with the District Attorneys office in Riverside county. I have an appointment with California State Senator Jeff Stone, in an attempt to help Sears Auto in Temecula to be accountable for their poor service results and unfair business practices. PLEASE message me thru the Unilocal app if you have had similar problems. Several people have reached out to share their stories of being overcharged, lied to and mistreated by the Sears Auto Center in Temecula. Thank you.

Made a Unilocal account just because this place is horrible. Went for an oil change. Took almost four hours because they ordered the wrong filter. I complained and they made it sound like it was my fault for having my type of car. Was never compensated for my time. Very displeased with the manager.

Do NOT get your vehicle serviced here. I took my SUV in for a simple alternator replacement and they cost me thousands of dollars in trouble shooting what they did to my electrical system. After many visits here and arguing with management because their record system is worthless and staff are liars, I had to take my vehicle to the dealership where they found the problem within an hour (that was believed to be caused by sears). All this after Sears said nothing was wrong. Then they wouldn’t even reimburse my losses. I will NEVER go back to this shop for anything. Not even an oil change.

Do not I repeat do not take your car here. The mall is right there. As soon as you go to the mall they will call you on your cell phone and interrupt your shopping, or movie time to suggest more repairs. Shady business. If your car needs an oil change you will be going back the next day because your drain plug will leak. Happens to me every time I go so… No more. By the way numbers do not lie. I see many one stars. I don’t like to bad mouth they do try. But the truth is the truth. My advice is when the customer comes back have the recommend repairs on an invoice instead of calling us on the phone. Get better drain plugs not the cheap ones. Keep being friendly as you are. Do the job right the first time.

Made an appointment over the phone for an oil change. When we made the appointment, we were given a higher total, but we mentioned that we had seen a sign outside advertising a $ 19.99 oil change, and the girl on the phone (reluctantly) changed it. When I arrived for my appointment at 9:00 am, I was informed that it would be at least an hour wait because there was another car ahead of me! What was the point of even making an appointment? Well, I was already there and decided to just get it done. I then showed the guy a coupon that I saw on their website for a $ 15 oil change, and he told me that I couldn’t use it because that was only for appointments made online. I told him that it did not state that anywhere on the coupon, and he said, «yeah, it says it on our end». Again, I figured I would just get it done! I walked around the unopened mall for an hour. I later called my husband and told him what had happened, and he happened to be nearby. He checked on my car, which was ready, although I had not gotten a call to notify me of it, like they said they would do. He also told them that the coupon did not say anything about it only being valid online, and after going back and forth with them, they agreed to give him the $ 15 price! Yeah, this was a cheap price for an oil change, but they are unprofessional and dishonest! I would rather spend a few dollars more anywhere else than go back to Sears!

I took my car in for a 9am appointment and was told it would take about an hour and half. 2 ½ hours later I ask what’s taking so long and they say the part just came in 15 minutes ago. I don’t plan on coming back. Also, there was no apology from the staff for the long wait or an explanation why they didn’t tell me they did not have the part when I came in.

The were completely understaffed and the management was rude. Please don’t take your car here. I they had my car all day for a check engine light which i already had the code for. Basically had my car all day and did nothing with but pop the hood. Please don’t waste your time with this sears or their employees.

TO ALL THE HUSBANDS OUT THERE… If you want to send your wife to a place that makes her wait THREE FRIGGIN HOURS before they even look at the nail in her tire, then by all means send your wife to Sears in Temecula. And then two days later when you realize that they didn’t properly inflate her tire, feel free to send her back to waste MORE of her time filling out MORE paperwork and being told it will be an hour before they can look at it again!
I don’t know how they do it in other places, but this was ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS! I realize there were other cars in front of her, but a 10-​minute tire patch shouldn’t be something a busy wife/​mother/​repeat customer should have to wait THREE HOURS for. Not sure who’s running this place, but they need to re-​take customer service 101. And unfortunately, this isn’t the first time we’ve taken our car here, told it would be ready in 1 – 2 hours, and ended up wasting half the day. This is the LAST time we take our cars to Sears…

My rating rolls from a 4 to a two based upon recent experience. Took my vehicle in to get the vibration looked at then it hits 65mph+. Specifically told the attendant about the vibration and that the one tire specifically showing wear vice the others. Common sense says to recheck the balance of all tires (which I gave them the rim key for). After inspection, they state that the alignment was off (reasonable since it had been 2 years elapsed) and recommended to perform it. Welp, $ 85 bucks later and a short 15 minute drive up to Menifee, I still had vibrations in the vehicle at speeds of 65 – 70 mph. Called them back and asked if they rechecked the balance of the tires. Response was no. Now I feel like they swindled me out of money and didn’t fixed the problem. Let’s not discuss the fact that I was the second person there when it opened, only to sit there for almost two hours before they were done. Best they could do was tell me was to bring the vehicle back in to get everything rebalanced, which would take at least another hour. The only reason I will go back is because I purchased the tires from the company and still have 16,000 miles left on the warranty. Their approach to this IMO was a lazy worker approach to the situation. Not a happy customer…

The prices are great but the customer service sucks talk about slow walking (milking a job out) it’s to bad they don’t take pride in there work A little hustle would go along way with this place they would probably have a lot more business I’m done coming here

It’s new battery time. It’s a DIEHARD and I’m a bit old school. No one else can beat Sears battery warranty program. Tip, get there early. I’ve been coming here since the mall opened. Never a battery issue or problem with store or personnel.
If you’re pressed for time you can call ahead and make an appointment.
It’s a car battery. Get in, inevitable wait, you’ll get out.
Now as for oil changes, tires, etc… I have no comment…

Just Ann update, the differential on my car which they said would be in the thousands, turned out to be the U joints. $ 240.00 parts and labor. STEAMED I TELL YOU, AND STILL NO WORD FROM DM OR ANYONE. They don’t care about their business or they would have called. Go elsewhere but first CHECK THEIR REVIEWS. I think one star is too many still

Do not take your car here for an oil change unless you don’t mind waiting 5 hours! They promise you your car will be done by a certain time and it’s still not done until 1 ½ hours past their commit time. And because they’re in a hurry due to so many upset customers, they don’t check everything they’re suppose to on the vehicle. Knowing your upset, they still don’t give a discount or anything. They just say sorry, we’re short staffed. There were some things I knew for a fact were wrong with my car and they marked on their checklist that everything was fine with the vehicle.

Did not put air filter back on! Not even part of requested service!
This is the second time we’ve had a problem with Sears. Won’t be back. Would like to give no star.

Made the mistake of allowing my female friend to take her car here instead of talking her out of it. Sears Auto not only used the wrong types of spark plugs in her car, but they used the cheapest ones possible. Had to take vehicle to another auto place where they fixed the problem. The gap on the spark plugs was too large and caused it to break, idle, and accelerate rough. Total Amateur hour here. Horrible customer experience would never take a car here or recommend to anyone.

Steven was so helpful and friendly. The time for the oil change was quick as I wandered around the mall as I was waiting. He explained how to check the oil once a month and was very knowledgable. I will be back as the service was outstanding! :)

Simply the worst (non) customer service I have seen maybe ever. Their whole front desk should be fired. They ignored customer after customer for over 30 minutes while they shuffled papers never looking up or making any contact.
Will never step foot in this business ever again.

UPDATE
My wife took our Silverado back yesterday, there was another person in front of her in line who was returning his car for the same reason, alignment problems after having his car aligned. My wife was told that it would be a ½ hour. After an hour and a half she goes up to the front desk and asks Ron the original service provider if the car was done.
Ron goes in the back and does not return… she finds someone else and she gives her name asks again is the car done but he could not find it in the computer. Ron never returns… finally two and a half hours later a new person comes out and advised the car is done…
Once when Temecula was a small town with little of no choices we had to put up with what was available now there are choices, this is our LAST TIME going to Sears even though we made the mistake of buying a year service agreement for the alignment…
BADDDD to WORSE…
This place is absolutely the worst. No pride in their workmanship, no oversight, no checking…
We have always purchased our tires at this location for the last 5 plus years. We have a Chevy Silverado. About 8 months ago we took it in for alignment, we live in Lake Elsinore so its a drive to get there.
We got home and noticed that the steering wheel was not positioned properly and the car pulled hard to the left all the way home. Had to bring it back again…
My wife took the truck in for alignment yesterday, on the way home the truck pulled worse then when we brought it in and again the steering wheel was not positioned correctly (not horizontal when the tires were aligned straight.
It was obvious no one checked the work because it would have been obvious to anyone that the truck was not aligned. So another trip back, more gas and more time wasted.
One in a while people make mistakes but Sears Auto is consistent in their lack of attention and poor workmanship. Steering is one of the most important components in the vehicle…
This is the last time we buy tires at Sears… and the last time we take it in for alignment.
DONT TAKE A CHANCE ON THIS PLACE…
