Strawberry lychee slush + spicy maple chicken danwich. The slush was really good as the proportion of strawberry taste to lychee taste was perfect. The food was mediocre since it seemed to be teriyaki chicken on Danish bread with some cucumbers. The salad dressing was some sort of fruit vinegar that was pretty good. Although the food tasted great however it seemed a bit over priced. The total of these two items came out to be $ 25. Would recommend but wouldn’t come here casually.(8⁄10)

Writing this review as we actually wait for our food. –1 star for lack of service –1 star for food coming out slow(slow enough for me to write this) –1 star for uni pasta which is supposed to have«grade A» uni but the uni had this bitter aftertaste and it didn’t have that ocean freshness taste in your mouth you get when you order it at a Japanese sushi place. Returned the uni pasta and now waiting for a smoked salmon sandwich… and we’re taking it home just cause we don’t want to be here anymore. Why does it take 35 mins to put smoked salmon on a Danish and but some fresh greens with it? Don’t get it. –1 star.

Had the uni pasta. Disgustingly old and bitter uni on it. Decided to switch my order to something else… Ordered their salmon sandwich(they call it the danwich). It’s taken them 30 mins this far to give me my new sandwich. It’s cold salmon; pre packaged and pre made. I don’t know what is up with these people. So incompetent.

The food is just okay. The drinks and outdoor ambience are really the draw to coming here.

Décor is very trendy and modern — makes for a pleasant ambience to chat with friends. Food and drinks, however, look better than they taste. Everything is presented nicely but comes out slowly and tastes mediocre. Also overpriced in my opinion. Makes for a good insta post and that’s about it.

Very classy… hip… chill… and tasty place. I read the other Unilocaler’s review and wary of going at first. But, GF convinced me to give it a try and im sold! Ambiance– Hard to find the place from the signs, but inside is a true oasis. There is an indoor and outdoor seating. Out door seating is the middle of the restaurant with a thick carpet cover and natural light. For the V day special, there are roses and nice cutlery on the tables. This is a great day for classy date. Food– NOt very oily… surprisingly. It taste quite refreshing… Cheese bacon tater tots– Must have. not oily, tasty and delicious. Avocado Shrimp Salad– Name speaks for itself… delicious! Honey Latte– Abit smaller, but taste quite delicious. Crispy chicken roll– Eh… its alright. Its crispy chicken with mashed potatoes and rice. This is prolly the underwhelming dish we had. We spent about roughly $ 60 for all that… yeah, its a little pricey and portions are fine. But, this is a nice asian fusion place with non greasy food, great ambiance and tasty dishes. Its well worth it. For bang for the buck, try other places on Las tunas ave. Guarantee its oily, heavy, and msg ladened. This place… i quite like, and the set up, ambiance and service are well worth it!

First time here I only had a tiramisu milk tea and i thought it was quite delicious! with the cute décor, I totally wanted to come back for the yummy food others have posted. This time for drink, I had the apple peach white tea half sweeten, it had apple slices! Light and refreshing, just what I wanted. Rose milk tea was very rosy, a bit too sweet for my taste, but it was good for the 2 sip i had. The bee hive latte is very cute and yummy. Appetizers are probably my favorite part of this meal. Let me just say the sweet potato fries are ONPOINT! The brown sugar really brought out the sweetness of the sweet potato, and they are very crispy! YUMMM! Cheesy Tater tots are good as well but it’s nothing surprising. Other than it’s cheesy and crispy It had about 2 pieces of apple and bacon, and the cheese are stuck on the cute little iron basket and cannot get to it. Now onto their special danwich, name is very cute for sure. It’s pretty much an open danish sandwich with your choice of meat. We had the smoke salmon one and the pull pork one, both of them are really good. Surprisingly the salad is also really good! For rice dishes, we had braised red wine beef rice it’s not the best, taste is great but the beef is on the dry side. Same with the crispy chicken roll it’so also on the dry side. Rice is good, salad and the mash is also good, but the main meat dish is not my favorite. Overall I enjoy the drinks, and the appetizers. Danwiches are good but main food dishes aren’t my favorite. I would come back for drinks and appetizers though!

Been here on multiple occasions and still feel the same. Effort can be noticed in their décor but the overpriced, mediocre food was not palatable nor was their service. My table did not receive bad service. However I did observe a walk in customer waiting a noticeable amount of time with no one attending the floor. It wasn’t until another patron, most likely a regular, got up and asked the customer to have a seat while he went in grab a waitress before the poor guy finally was seated. Of course this did not play a role in their scoring, but inexperience in restauranting is unfavorable nonetheless. Their melted cheese with bacon bits tater tots are always enjoyable and are reasonably priced at $ 6. However, their $ 28 Uni pasta makes me question why we did not just head to LA for ******** *******‘s pasta that was just $ 40 and way better. On my most recent visit, I tried the burger patty and drunken chicken salad. Other than saying the the burger patty with rice was decent, nothing really worth mentioning for the drunken chicken salad. On the rare occasions that I find myself here, the mushroom bowtie pasta is always a constant. All in all, I really wanted to like this place, so TC can have something worth making a trip for. But for now, I will continue to live my life without feeling like I’m missing out.

I give props to the owners of Urspace for taking a risk and opening up such a unique spot in Temple City. If you’re up for eating something other than Chinese food when you’re in the area I suggest trying this place out. I don’t think you can find another restaurant in sgv that serves Taiwanese fusion food and that’s also the reason why I support this place. The cute interior and overall ambience makes it family-friendly but also good for a casual date or get together with gfs. I’d come here just for their bbq wings, basil calamari, and waffles. The waffle we ordered had mochi in the middle which made it texturally interesting but also added that slight sweetness to the waffle. I ate it by itself without any toppings and it was delicious. Crispy on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside. I don’t mind carbs when it’s mochi-filled carbs… I mean good carbs! The drinks are also quite yummy. I tried the guava green tea and tiramisu milk tea. Both were tasty and not too sweet. The uni pasta is on the bland side but I was pretty surprised that they are generous with the uni. I’ll definitely be back for the waffles!

Alcohol, check. Dessert, check. Tea drinks, check. Tatter Tots, check! A bunch of other Asian/American Fusion items like plum infused sweet potato fries, oreo crusted chicken wings, braised short ribs, drunken chicken salad, or a dammich, which is a sandwich on top of a crusty flakey danish, check check check and check. This place is flavor town and great for parties. I can’t say I had anything that wasn’t unique or bad.

I think the food here is pretty okay, but it’s overpriced for what they give you. I got the truffle mushroom risotto. There’s so little food on that plate. It was just a line of risotto piled onto a long plate. It tasted a bit bland, and I was disappointed with my meal. I think the uni pasta was pretty good and flavorful though. Overall, food is okay and service is nice.

Super overpriced for the type of quality! We ordered: Uni Cream Tater Tots(8) — with one piece of fresh uni on top. The cream was under all the tater tots rather than poured over. So most of the tater tots was not enough for the little amount of uni cream given. Black Truffle Lobster Risotto(26) — super disappointing. The risotto was so bland, the lobster was half a lobster’s tail with little meat inside, and there was not enough truffle in the risotto because if there was it wouldn’t be so bland. Truffle is very flavorful. Smoked Salmon Benedict(15) — usually eggs benedict comes with 2 halves of bread with 2 egg poaches. This one only had 1! A little generous with the smoked salmon though. This entrée was probably better than the other 2 we ordered just because it came with a variety of things. It was served with a small side salad, steamed broccoli, and kettle chips with salsa. The bill racked up to be $ 50 for two people. This place has potential but the pricing is too much for a restaurant like this to be in the area. The restaurant’s décor is modern, chic, and simple. When we came on a Saturday afternoon it was empty. About 3 other tables were filled. It was super quiet in there that I felt like I couldn’t have a conversation in private. They should play some music in there or get a tv for some background noise. The waiter basically just stands in the corner and watches you eat… awkward. There is a back lot for more parking.

First time here. Really big spacious place with cute atmosphere and decorations. Service wise, not as good. Big place with only 2 people working?! The place was not filled either. It seemed pretty empty. We had to wave our hands up for couple of seconds for them to noticed us. The things we ordered: –tiramisu milk tea: really creamy with tiramisu flavor. Not too sweet. Served in a short cute wine cup. –fresh rose milk tea: served in a tall cup. Smells so nice with the rose flavor. Not too sweet. I really liked it. –drunken chicken salad: it’s a decent enough portion but there was not enough dressing almost to the point where I was just eating plain lettuce. The cucumber were cut into big pieces, had some fresh cherry tomatoes, decent amount of chicken pieces and almond slices for that extra crunch. Will not order again. –japanese hamburger steak: the steak itself was cooked perfect but I felt the sauce was too saucy as it was too tangy. Fried egg is served on top of steak. Served under white rice, side of veggies and small portion of mashed potatoes. –tater tots with apple and bacon bites: I say this is my only favorite dish from here. I would only come back here for their cute drinks and appetizers. Will not really get their entrees. But. this is good and crunchy and the cheese sauce that goes on top of it makes the perfect taste. Not too overly cheesy. –mushroom flat bread: not too fan of the mushroom on pizza. I like mushrooms but not that kind of pizza. The flat bread was cheesy and edges were crispy. Overall, experience it’s ok. If you want a place to catch up and talk for hours this would be the place since they won’t bother you. You try to get their attention would be hard. Service ain’t the best. Their prices are expensive.

Urspace was hyped up by some of my closest friends, so I came with high expectations. The décor is modern, and it’s very spacey. The middle part of the restaurant is outdoors, which is the best because we’re in CALIFORNIA! Tiramisu Milk Tea($ 4.95) Weird when you first think about it, but Unilocalers were praising it. I just had to get it for myself. Mine was half sweet and ALLGOOD. I’m usually not a fan of Tiramisu but this drink is so good! Ribeye Steak($ 28) A little expensive, especially for a place like this. The steak was okay. I probably won’t get it again. Urspace is really good for appetizers that I didn’t take pictures of or review. But next time I’m coming, I’m getting all apps.

Sigghh… this place use to be a solid 4 stars when they first opened, now, it went completely downhill. First off, when my friend and I came in, we didn’t get told the specials for the day. We were just handed the menus and the server just left. It didn’t bother me so much until a white young couple(no offense) came in and sat next to our table. They were offered the specials right away with special treatment afterwards. Second, our food took forever. It took about 25 minutes for our appetizer to come out. Then another 15 minutes for our entrees. For the couple next to us, they got their food within 15 minutes… and they pretty much order the same thing as us. I have to say this, their food portion got ALOTSMALLER, from what I remember. They give less tater tots for the appetizer and for the mushroom pasta, it doesn’t come with a salad and garlic bread anymore. I mean if I’m paying over 12 bucks for an entrée, it should be $ 12 worth. Lastly, the service was just as bad as I remembered. It sucks, but they try, even though they give special treatment to others. They only have 2 servers, I really think they should get another server because 2 isn’t enough to handle the place. **If you sit in the outside patio, they play music videos on a projector. I don’t know if they still do that, but they did when I first went there. Overall, I don’t think I would be coming back anytime soon.

This is such a cute little hole in the wall! Environment: There’s three sections to this restaurant. The first section you see when you walk in is the usually indoor seating. Then the next section is the outdoor seating which is decorated as if you’re out for a nice lunch at a café in France. At night they turn on their lights so it’s a very romantic night in Paris setting. Then the last section of the restaurant is a tea bar area, which I didn’t get to venture off to. Service: Everyone there were all so friendly and fairly tentative. They were easy to flag down if needed. The chef/owner also stopped by to say hi to us and told us about how they had just changed the menu. She loves to change up the menu and experiment according to the feedback she gets! Food: In general, all of the food here is very unique. The chef likes to try different things and all of which that I have tried come out deliciously! The food is also very well presented which is just icing on the cake! –Cheesy Tater Tots: Very cheesy and very addicting! These are so good! And it comes in a cute little metal basket. –Plum-Infused Sweet Potato Fries: This sounds interesting right?! They’re fried with a nice crisp and have a sweet plum powder sprinkled on top. This was very different from the typical sweet potato fries but definitely different in a good way. I would definitely get these again. –Truffle Mushroom Risotto: Beautifully presented and tasted delicious! The rice has a sticky thick texture and has a nice mushroom taste, kind of like cream of mushroom. There are even mushroom bits! –White Peach Apple Green Tea: What a mouthful to say. But you’ll definitely want to keep a mouthful of this tea once you taste it. This is a very refreshing tea with a kick of sweetness. Perfect level of sweetness! I will most definitely be coming back to try more new things! Keep up the good work Chef!

The first time I dined here, I didn’t think too much of the place because I didn’t quite particularly enjoy what I ordered. I believe I got the Japanese Hamburger, which I found out was actually one of their topsellers. To each their own. I gave this place another chance and it certainly redeemed itself. I wanted to try their uni pasta and uni tator tots but they were out for the day. I ended up ordering the Truffle Mushroom Risotto. I am a fan of risotto so I enjoyed this dish a lot. I wish there was a bit more of a truffle-y flavor in it though. Aside from that, I also tried the cheese tator tots(got that last time as well), tiramisu milk tea(awesome!), and the tiramisu crispy waffles(not bad and great presentation). Cute food. Cute ambiance. Worth a try!

This is a really cute and modern café-restaurant. You have the option of eating inside or «outside,» which is really a middle section that separates the café and bar and they fashion it as if you are eating outside, but there’s a roof over your head and they have a TV projection of some music videos. Pretty neat. So what did we order? 1. Uni cream tator tots: the tator tots were delicious! However, I wish they had more uni. For the price that you’re paying, I felt that we were better off with the melting cheese tots(4⁄5). 2. Melting cheese tator tots with apple and bacon: you can request to have the melting cheese on the side, especially since they can get soggy over time. Overall, these were absolutely yummy!(5⁄5) 3. Wine braised beef with rice: it comes with a refreshing salad and sauteed broccoli. The broccoli was flavorful and so good! The wine-braised beef was decent and went well with the rice. I wasn’t over the moon about it, but it was a good one(4⁄5). 4. Mushroom veal bow tie pasta: my friends ordered this one and I wish I had ordered it myself! The veal bow tie pasta was super delicious! The sauce was creamy and went well with the pasta. Portions are big and can be shared between 2 people. Overall, this place is great for dates and hangouts. The food is delicious, albeit can be a bit pricey. Next time, I want to try their specialty drinks! =)
