OMG — absolutely the worst arcade I’ve been to. Makes Chuck-e-Cheese look like Disneyland. Horrible service at the bar — waited while two others were served who came after me. Watched as people brought their drinks back because they«tasted like dishwater ». Very limited selection of games for the kids. Laser tag sucked, manager was clueless. Save your money — go to main event in Austin. This place is not ready for prime time.

Very fun place to take the kidos and adults have fun too. They have two Bowling areas a private sometimes booked are and open area that is pretty much full go all the times you want to bowl. The arcade area is pretty good size but could be bigger but has all the games type you want at a place like this. The laser tag is great and really fun. The area is compact but has two stories and tons of fun. There is a lot of private rooms to rent out which is great but also a downfall as some of that space could be used to expand the other areas. The customer service is good and it has dress codes and rules posted that they do enforce. One the best things about the place is the food. I was pleasantly surprised with the taste and selection for a place like this. Great place and very comparable to a place called Main Event down in San Antonio but without the overhead climbing. Take the kidos and expect to spend some money.

Bowling is expensive here unless you can score on a day with specials. You can’t even finish a game if your time runs out. Most places we’ve been to will let you do so if no one is waiting for your lane. We decided not to play in the arcade because many of the machines were down. Pizza tastes like a frozen product. It was lukewarm and dry like a cracker. HOW does a real pizza come out of an oven lukewarm? My Dr. Pepper tasted like carbonated water with a splash of syrup. I asked the waitress if she could get me a new drink from a different machine. She did and it tasted the same. My daughter ordered iced tea. Ok, this is Texas and pretty much everyone can make iced tea, so why did this tea taste old and look cloudy? It was strange and my daughter returned it. They get their two stars because the beers were alright, the service was good, and the couches were comfy! We still had fun because we are a fun family, but it would have been a much better experience with good food and better pricing.

This place is so much fun even for adults. I went with a couple friends and my husband and we wanted to try out laser tagging for the first time so we came here. It was $ 7.50 for 15 minutes and it was so much fun the first time we went back again and decided to do teams. I would highly recommend this place. The staff is very friendly. The only thing is it’s kinda far from where we are(Killeen). But would def go again.

Spare time is a decent entertainment center offering a full bar, food area, game room, laser tag, conference rooms, private bowling room, and general bowling. Being an avid bowler Spare Time is a double edge sword for me. The lanes are new, decently maintained, with a consistent oil pattern on the lanes. However, the lack of variety in leagues, and the complete lack of tournaments and pro shop drags the score down from 5 to 3 stars. Spare Time has the ability to drag in a lot of amateur and semi-pro bowlers if they’d cater to them, however the lack of the latter shows they’re only concerned with being a «fun center» which is fine, but they’re missing a lot of potential earnings. The prices for the general activities are in line with other places, not great, not bad. Bowling prices are also fair. Overall, not a bad place for the family, however if you’re looking for competitive bowling, be prepared to drive to Killeen or Waco for better offerings.

Fun place. Pricey– that’s why I gave it four stars. Sofia went above and beyond to help us out. She even brought our shoes over to us. Great service by all employees. Just wish it didn’t cost so much to have some family fun.

Love this place and my grandkids loved this place! 4 of us for under $ 50! unlimited bowling, lazer tag(had the most fun ever!) and a $ 10 game card per person! We had a blast and will definitely be back! I do wish they would have a cheat sheet on how the lazer tag works for those of us who are clueless. The direction given inside was not really clear and mostly because all of those who are playing have played a million times and know what they are doing. Snacks and Beverages were great and server was very friendly. All in all a super great time! recommendation: turn up the air conditioning, it was a bit uncomfortable temp

When we walked in the front desk lady was clearly high on some sort of drug. We did unlimited play until 3pm. They gave us cards to swipe at the games to play. But the cards worked for only a couple of swipes, then didn’t work at all. I went up to ask the lady at the front and she gave me a different card that also didn’t work. We took my 5 year old daughter with us so we asked for a ramp for her to bowl with and they said that they don’t have those. I’m sorry but how are you going to have a «family fun center» with no ramps for kids to bowl on?! These factors mixed with the fact that it felt like we were in the desert, we decided to leave. We basically threw away $ 50 and when we complained about it, the manager checked the cards and said that there was still time on it. My daughter is special needs and the fact that you need a tutorial on how to work a swipe card for games is ridiculous. And forget about your small child bowling. The only good thing about this place was the food and our lane server, Byron. They were amazing. But we WILLNOT be going back. We will drive to Waco and bowl at AMF.

Our go to destination for fun and good in the area. We love the bowling alley and my kiddos enjoy the laser tag and arcade. The service is always above bar. As far as corporate events are concerned they do a great job at managing the flow and making sure that things are moving along at a good pace. And for kids birthday parties they are the absolute best and the best part about having your child’s party here is that not only do they have a blast and go home very tired but you don’t have to clean up the mess!

I was here for about 4 hours and was not on my phone the whole time and could commentate on everything except laser tag. Once you enter is somewhat disorganized everyone was in front the desk not showing where the front line was making us go through, trying to bowl on a Friday night around 7 – 10 is highly busy our wait was 2 hours making us eat there food and Play games. Games are great but to get food you sit yourselves and wait maybe 5 minutes until the service notices you have nothing on your table, there pizza came somewhat quick and was great but more on the cheesy side and grease. My waitress was friendly, energetic to our own level which was great, and checked on us every so often. After pizza came there Funnel Fries which wasn’t really worth it, it was small sized okay taste. Then came our time to bowl. Lanes are thinner than usual lanes, the bowling balls are organized well but TOO specific making finding a ball for me difficult. Couches were nice but ball holders capacity was smaller, bowling next another person(s) was tedious on waiting for balls without a divider. In my overall opinion I feel to cramped and which there were more lanes, space and etc.

Just another fun time at spare time! This place is truly fun and very supportive of the local schools. Today it is supporting SBMS, and doing a great job of it! Great fun did young and old. This place is new, clean, and well maintained with a great staff.

Had my daughters 9th bday party here and purchased the Big blitz package. It covers the whole shabang! Our host was Jesse. She was awesome and on point! If u have a party here, u can request her. She made it so easy and kept it moving seamlessly. She was great with the kiddos too. Jesse even made a list of who gave my daughter what so I could make my thank you notes. Awesome! Even the adults had a fun time at this party.

Fun times! We reserved several lanes for a group event. The lanes were all ready at the time we needed them. We ended up having more people than anticipated and they gave us a few extra lanes as well. They even put a picture for our group as the background of our bowling screens. We all had plenty of time to finish our games. I ordered food and the nachos were yummy and huge! Plenty to share. The service was quick too. The only downside of the evening was the bar service speed. It seriously took over five minutes to get one drink order at the bar and they weren’t crazy busy or anything. Not sure what was up there.

How can I give ZERO stars?! I decided to take the 45 minute drive here to meet friends so our kids could bowl and play games. My friend asked for two lanes when she paid and only got one, so I got one as well.($ 45 for an hour with shoes rental, btw) We got settled into bowling(nice bowling pods) and ordered drinks and food. My drink looked nothing like the picture and tasted so bad I had it sent back and ordered something more simple. Food was bowling alley acceptable. We were able to play one game before our time expired. The biggest issue we had was the«dress code» Women can wear tank tops, but men cannot wear tank tops. So they’ll let you«borrow» a oversized t-shirt from them to cover up. Cover up what?! It’s just a male tank top. ITSSUMMERTIME. Several of the arcade games were broken and the«Claw» games are a joke. It’s like those gimmicky ones that close after its already dropped the toy. We finally were so glad to cash out and leave and the attendant couldn’t do math. Prizes were not marked correctly and it was just a nightmare. Definitely will not recommend this to anyone ever, I wish I would have looked at the«hidden review» on this fan page before coming here. That guy was spot on. Worst waste of time and money in a long time.

Went to have a beer and hang out with a friend of ours who is deploying after this weekend and we asked to get more time. Since we didn’t get to even finish a full game since our time ran out. Figure they would understand since he is serving our country and more time would have been great. But they said no even though we told them it was out last night with him for the reason already stated. Not a military friendly corporation. To all my military brother and sisters please avoid this establishment. Also it took them over 10 minutes for us to receive out beers. And for both of these reason I give it 1 little star

Just something to do in your«spare time» food ok, the wings your way are only a 9 count… who doesn’t give 10 wings. There is a dress code for guys so call ahead. No hats, no shirts without sleeves. They do have free WiFi.

This place was offering an all-you-can-bowl/laser tag/arcade for $ 15.99/person following the 4th of July. We had a blast. It definitely helps to have the separate room that is 21+ after 11PM. Keeps out the rug rats while you’re trying to have some adult fun! The VIP room had great music, big TVs with music videos, and servers that bring libations and food to your lane. One problem we did encounter is that we ordered pizza and the server never put in the order, so it never came. Way to go Temple for having this place to go to while visiting from Austin!
