This is a well managed hotel! The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are laid out better than Hyatts. We had a king room. The bed was very comfortable and away from the quiet air conditioner. The bathroom was separate and large with plenty of counter space. The wifi worked well. The breakfast was good. It was clean. The staff was busy cleaning and maintaining this nice hotel. We will definitely stay here again when we’re in the area. It is convenient to lots of restaurants, Walmart, pharmacies etc

Pulling in from our 2nd day of driving, having accomplished the 816 miles across Texas, we checked in at 2:30am. What a relief to walk in and be quickly and kindly greeted by the front desk clerk. Loaded up a trolley and 3 kids and headed up to our room. Probably one of the best hotels we’ve experienced. Very clean, very quiet. It was definitely a place to relax and crash. Went down to breakfast about 10 minutes before it closed and we found a wonderful lady tending the area. The food was nothing to write about but her customer service was fantastic. We didn’t feel rushed and she ensured we had everything we needed plus more.

Stayed 1 night. Nice modern hotel, nice room, quiet and clean. Heat worked but blew in a smell like a dead animal, so couldn’t use it but it was not too cold out. Breakfast was the usual, biscuits and gravy good, cold sausage patty, egg omlet with Velveeta inside, not so good.

This is a nice clean hotel, but they are in need of a few improvements. The bed was so uncomfortable, I considered sleeping on the floor. It was very hard and sank to the middle. They attempted to salvage it with a lumpy mattress pad. The pillows were so lumpy and wee equivalent to sleeping on a sack of rocks. The TV keep coming on as soon as we would doze off. We couldn’t get to the plug to unplug it, so we ended up leaving it on a blank channel. The staff was warm, welcoming, and very helpful. The breakfast was generous for a continental type breakfast, but it was not very appetizing. I did leave with a full belly. The girl working the kitchen was right behind everyone constantly cleaning up their messes and she did make sure there was plenty of what they had for breakfast. I stay in a hotel for sleep and appreciate the little extras. If it weren’t for the bed and TV, this place could have been one of the best.

One of the best Best Western I’ve stayed in. Our trip to Texarkana was a spontaneous one. We went to do a ghost walk, visited some bars and drank a few that’s why we decided to stay. Best Western is our preferred place to stay and luckily this have an available room(parking lot was full) and it was a great choice. This one smells new and really clean. It was a great treat for the price. Anybody who will be stopping by this town, stay at this Best Western. You will not regret it.

Stayed there early May during a very bad storm. Could see the weather, but not hear it. Everything in the room worked well. Mattress very comfortable — most hotels have tolerable mattresses or worse. Chair in room comfortable — again not always the case. Location seemed perfect, lots of restaurants in the area — but not right next door. Very close to the convention center but not a part of it. Lots of up front parking — again rare. For the price, a great deal.

This place was pretty awesome. We travel to southern Texas a few times a year and always stop in Texarkana. This may just have to be our regular resting place going forward. We arrived shortly after 8 in the evening and were warmly greeted by the gentleman at the desk. He had us set up in less than 5 minutes. The lobby is very nice. The room itself was really nice. There is a counter, complete with upper cabinets, that has the usual fridge, coffee pot, and microwave. The bed was super nice. There were 6 pillows plus a body pillow. Which is nice because my wife is a pillow hog. The mattress was really nice. Our room had a small chair and ottoman as well as a desk and chair. Breakfast the next morning was nice. The room itself is nicely done. There are standard tables, a bar height counter, and small sofas with tables between them. As far as food goes, it’s standard free breakfast fare. Carbs, eggs, and bacon. The attendant did bring fresh biscuits out just as we arrived. Overall this place was well worth it for the price of the room. And the staff are all super nice, which is a huge deal for me. We will be staying here again next time we come through Texarkana.

BW+ is our favorite brand of hotel chains. Always comfy beds and clean lobbies. Free wifi, coffee and breakfast is standard. The décor is upscale and the rooms spacious.

I wish I could give 3.5. I almost gave a 4 but I reserve those for only exceptional. This is a very solid best western. Extremely clean. Very comfortable beds and linens. Good standard breakfast. Not great breakfast but good enough. Convenient location to the Texarkana area and highways. Very high standard for the price. We paid $ 67 with no coupons or discounts.
