Ruby Tuesday

This was the worst service & food I’ve had here, the fish was so salty the waitress was forgetful had to go get my own condiments after I asked her to go get us some the mgr came by after we were finished & told our waitress, service & food was not good now I truly see why it’s unusually slow the mgr did try to fix it but it wasn’t her mistake she discounted our bill but not coming back

Our waiter was so friendly and nice and so was the guy that gave us our food. Just an overall really friendly environment. So glad I found this place! A+++++++

Terrible experience! It was dirty on and under the table. After ordering the food, they told us that they had run out of French fries. This was at 8 pm on a Thursday night. Who’s responsible for the logistics? We had to change side orders, but the meat was served long before the side orders were ready, thus cold when we got the side orders to go with it. The baked potato was not cooked through when served. Quality management was totally lacking. Don’t go there!

We have eaten at several Ruby Tuesdays in TX and we have really enjoyed the food. This one is a NO GO! We should have known when at 11:30am on a Thursday there was only 1 car in the lot. The salad bar looked great until you got close. The lettuce was wilted and brown spots and it got worse as we moved down the line. Most of the things on the buffet looked like they had been in the ref overnight and not fresh. I ordered a loaded baked potato that was served cold! I sent it back and received a warm one. My husband had chicken fingers that were also warm.
So stay away from this place!

People recommended the salad bar. I didn’t enjoy it. I also ordered a burger. It was solid.

Was disappointed in my visit today. Food was slow out of kitchen. Several in party ordered the mini cheeseburgers and salad. We have ordered this many times in past. Today meat was thinner and over cooked. There was no sauce on burgers and no pickles. Burgers seemed smaller than I remembered. Server explained it was «new menu». Looked like a kids meal item. Very sad as this used to be our favorite menu item.

I’m upping my rating for this place, based upon recent experience. The people here are very nice and give great service. The food here ranges from good to great. Most significantly, I like their non-​alcoholic drink options. There are tons of them and they make for great lunchtime drinking. When the sun goes down and it’s time to relax, their cocktails are not too shabby either. I really enjoy their fruity drinks, even though they are generally not my style. Who knew?

Great salad bar (and I usually hate salad bars). The fish tacos were the best I’ve had in a restaurant since I first had them in California 15 years ago.

Unfortunately, this may have been the worst RT experience ever. It is a clean restaurant and the service was fine but a lot could have been better.
I live the salad bar at RT’s so being out of blue cheese salad dressing and having many items on the bar empty is just not a very good start. I waited and waited and they never refilled anything until I finally asked.
Wife described her soup as gelatinous, which is never good unless you are talking about Jello. I had some typhoon shrimp which in the past have been good but these were over breaded and tasteless.
Finally, no lemons. No lemons? Sounds like whomever is responsible for ordering needs an intervention.

I had Hickory bourbon salmon and it was delicious. My wife had the grilled salmon and it was cooked perfectly. We have not had a bad experience at this Ruby Tuesday’s since we started going to it. They also did a great job getting the Sunday crowd seated and served.

I ordered the ribeye steak, the baked potato and salad from the salad bar. Ruby Tuesday’s doesn’t serve gravy with their steak, so don’t come looking for gravy to eat with your steak.
As good as this steak is, you won’t need gravy. I ordered the ribeye medium rare. It was cooked just right. The baked potato was a buttery, golden potato with sour cream that tasted absolutely marvelous. Take your time and make you salad just right, because all of your ingredients come from the salad bar. You can’t go wrong with self-​serve salad with fresh, flavorful ingredients on the salad bar.
I didn’t get any bread and butter though…

We stopped in recently while visiting family and I was greatly disappointed to see that the veggie burger was removed from the menu and that the salad bar had been pared down quite a bit. Granted, it’s been a while since we’ve been in a Ruby Tuesday, since they no longer exist in the Dallas area, so I’m not sure how long ago those changes were made.
Our server was fast, efficient, & friendly and both he and the kitchen staff worked together to put together a meatless meal for me to enjoy. I would return the next time we are in town.

We had the very same meal a time ago for which I gave five stars. This time it was terrible. The biscuits were wa-​a-​y over spiced and crumbled when picked up. And I don’t have a clue what happened to the burgers. They were very greasy with an off note. The mashed potatoes were very heavy as though prepared with another starch like flour or corn starch. They were over spiced and light gray.
But the price remained the same.

Food was pretty good. Service was fast and the waiter checked on us regularly. However, before we ordered our meal, we presented a promotional coupon for a discount on the second entrée. The check did not reflect it. We asked him to apply it, which he did. There was also a charge for an item we did not order. The waiter promptly took care of it. Look closely at the check before paying out.

We came in here at around 4 pm on a weekday and there was not many people there, which was perfect for us since we had a baby with us.
The food was delicious and the portions were good sized, if a bit pricey.
The service was excellent. The wait staff were extremely attentive.
It’s hard to find a restaurant where we can feel really comfortable with a baby and this is one of then, at least at 4 pm.
We’ll definitely be back.

I gotta say I’ve never heard much about Ruby Tuesdays that was good. I’ve always heard it was just okay. I gotta say though, I went for the first time and it was pretty decent. I had a burger and it was obviously freshly made from beef (not a preformed patty) and it was cooked how I ordered it. It’s a little over priced in my opinion, but the food tastes good.

The Tuesday! !!

I was disappointed at this Ruby Tuesday location. I ordered tilapia with a zucchini side and a baked potato. I specifically asked that the baked potato exclude cheese. Also, traditionally at a Ruby Tuesday, they normally give you garlic puff concoction analogous to free bread that is offered at other restaurants. The waiter offered the puffs after my food was brought out. They should have brought it out before my main dish came out.
I have to say that they should take cues from other Ruby Tuesday locations especially in Nebraska. Of course, they brought me a baked potato with cheese. I was pretty pissed off about this and notified my waiter about this. He offered another baked potato but it was already too late. Also, one of food runners (or possibly a shrewed manager) completely lied to my face about the zucchini. He said that the tilapia and the baked potato were completed first. I honestly do not think that the zucchini was not done first. In fact, I think they just forgot it. Honestly is the best policy and I was appalled that they lied. The only redeeming quality was the food itself which was good, but the star rating is reflective of the poor service.
