Yesterday on 5÷31÷16 I had come to the Drunken Donkey and had amazing service and I even left a nice tip for my server Jennifer however tonight this is not the case. So tonight I sat at the bar to watch the hockey game and ordered a Dogfish Head dark beer which was great. However after my first beer I was not asked for a refill or even addressed as I sat at the bar while both gentlemen on each side of me were. Allie the bartender was nice overall however her overall service made sure I would not order another beer if I came again and she was my server and or bartender. I hope next time I come I can get the awesome service I had received on Tuesday evening 5÷31÷16.

Lots of excellent craft beer options! Food is very good and the menu items are interesting. The whiskey cake is better than what you can get at the actual Whisky Cake! It is a 2 story«bar» and can be chaotic as it is usually packed. But thats a good thing. Waitresses are friendly and attentive. The interior looks like it was designed by the Riddler, which is cool. I wish the dog area did’nt allow smoking. All of the televisions everywhere playing sports is the only thing that makes this place generic.

The problem with this place is that managers believe they are in control of everything, regardless of customer belief or request. You can ask for things, but don’t expect staff or management to accommodate what you request. No song skipping, no food, no customer appreciation. You can ask for managers or managers’ bosses, to no avail. They also tell you that«investors» have no say, and that a certain«Nick» has operational control. Won’t be back, even though we’re extremely close. I’d rather drive across across the street to Rock and Brews that is 100x more accommodating. I only wish RnB stayed open til 0200.

Too many beers on tap to count! Food is incredible, definitely not your typical bar quality. Jalapeño thingies, pretzel dog, and pulled pork nachos are my faves. Bartenders and servers are very friendly and attentive. Juke box is fun to play using a phone app. Lots of TVs. This place is always crowded on the weekends despite the competition it gets from Top Golf across the street. If you have a group, head upstairs where they have larger tables and couches.

This is a cool place! Plenty of great craft beer and the food is original, creative, and delicious. It’s a bit loud I here(to be fair, it’s hockey playoffs and Cinco de Mayo). Our server was knowledgeable about the whole menu and enthusiastic about the food. She recommended the«jalapeño thingies» and said they were her fave app. She was right, they were great. Hubby had a monster BLT and I had a French Dip, both were great. We will be back over and over!

I went to the Drunken Donkey today for lunch. I had crab balls for a starter, chicken fried chicken and mashed potatoes for an entrée, and cheesecake for dessert. They were all superb and better than most restaurants serve. The kitchen and menu are amazing. A+ NOW… No matter how good your food is if I have to finish my meal by wiping my butt with my own damn sock because you can’t be bothered to maintain your restrooms we have a problem. The place was empty. I was the only one there. No one was doing anything other than playing with their smartphones and still there wasn’t any toilet paper?! WTF guys. I know doing a cursory sweep and wipe of the counter was done because it was clean but where do you guys go? Some VIP staff only room? There weren’t even any cardboard rolls where the paper would have been. Is that because you are maximizing profits or because the last sorry soul tore the cardboard into strips and dipped it into his own sorry bung in the hopes of scraping himself clean? Had I not been a Soldier and used to sacrificing bits of clothing in the field or at war I may have been at a loss, but don’t rely on every customer to disrobe or donate bits of clothing to preserve basic sanitation because you can’t be bothered to stock a restroom properly. Hell, trade in one of your 110+ bigscreen telies if you have to but put some sodding paper in the loo! Shameful. Enough of that. You owe me a sock. Next time I am around, and unbelievably enough I will be around because the food is that good, you can provide me with a new pair and an apology. If anyone cares to know about the beer, they’ve got tons, and all fancy microbrews. If you have a mate who made a batch of bitter in the basement of your dormitory in Newfoundland, it’s likely they carry it. Look for the Newfoundland mates dirty sock dorm brew. Wait, scratch that, avoid any drink with dirty sock in it for quite awhile to be safe. Regards!

Beer, beer and more beer! Wow this place is awesome. They have several beers on nitro which is a plus for me. I always do a flight since I can never decide because there are so many. The managers and servers are all great but Carrie is super nice and we always try and sit with her.

Waitstaff kills this place. Bartenders have no idea what they’re doing, complain about their personal life, their job, and to top it? The fried cheese, yes FRIED cheese was awful. Only redeeming thing is the beer selection.

I was so excited when we moved to The Colony that there was a bar near us less than a mile away. I was less excited when I actually went here. Crappy service, crappy atmosphere, over priced for what it is, crappy food, beer was warm(gross!). Went a total of 3 times because we really wanted to give it a chance and every time we were disappointed.

Our first time to the colony. We checked in at top golf and needed to kill the 3 hours til our turn. we were starving so we walked across the street to the Drunken Donkey. We immediately sat at a table. Our server was pretty quick to set us up with menus and take our drink orders. She was very friendly. But that’s pretty much the last we saw her. She came back about 30 – 45 minutes later to take away our drink menus. She said she would be right back. She came back about 15 – 20 minutes later to take our food menus and gave them to the table behind us. When the table behind us got their food and we still hadn’t gotten a chance to order food or additional beverages we just asked for our check. Maybe ours was just bad luck but it was very irritating. So we wasted all that time there and still left starving!

When we walked in, the music was pretty loud, so don’t expect to have a great conversation with your partner. Overall, great sports bar, decent selection of craft beers. They don’t brew their own, but have a large selection on draft and bottle. The wait staff is fantastic and very attentive. Allowed us to sample many of their craft beers. Food was better than we expected, not just your normal bar food. We had the wings and they were probably some of the best we have had. All the other food around us looked great. We will be coming back for sure. If you don’t mind some loud music,(and some louder patrons) this is a nice neighborhood bar!

I was blown away by the quality of the staff. I ate at the bar and both bartenders introduced themselves and made me feel welcome. I was in a bit of a hurry and asked about the speed of the kitchen and the bartender said they were quick and the food was fresh. I ordered a burger and fries and was pleased with the speed and quality of the food. Nice job guys and keep up the good work.

Great place! Walked in with friends and the place was packed. Justin and Nate quickly found us a place to sit in the corner. They had honest reviews of the beer. One of our friends even spilled their drink and received a free refill. This place is awesome. I hear the good is great and cannot wait to try.

The place has a heated outside patio which is dog friendly. They even bought my dog a few bacon strips and water. The waitress Jennifer, was great tonight. I got what I ordered without any issues. The manager JJ came over to say hi and to see if there was a problem and to see if everything was to my satisfaction. The food was good at a reasonable price. The music was not blaring out which was a nice change from other places. I ordered an imported beer which tasted good. Sit out on the patio and ring your dog. Ask Jennifer for some bacon for the pup and she will go get it:)

This place was amazing. My husband and I went there on a whim and ended up staying a couple hours. We sat upstairs on comfy couches and ate the most amazing wings and buffalo fries. My husband loved the beer variety. I think there was around 120. It was during the week of Christmas and they had several Christmas special beers as well. Final thought: Amazing food-drinks-service. Will definitely go again. Will recommend to friends.

Came here for a night of fun with a book club. The waitress and owners were attentive. The tvs could be a bit overwhelming for some people. The drink selection was fantastic and the food menu was amazing! We ordered the pretzels and they were amazing! We ended up coming back after a few hours of top golf and it was busier than before! This will be a new go to place for us especially during game night!

I had this place bookmarked and I had some time to check it out. Walking in, first impression… wow, holy beer wall. There is every kind beer almost known to man in this place and TVs covered almost all part of the walls. I was greeted a few minutes after walking in, and was seat at a table, in the center of the place, on the first floor. Place was not as pack, as I thought it would be. I sampled a couple of beers, however paid full price for them. Let me explain… The beer size was about 5 to 6 oz… misleading, since the place has«drunken» in its name, maybe I was the«ass»…I mean donkey… for paying full price, for half the size of a full beer in other bars. I order hot wings, which where very good, this help even out the experience. My server was very helpful and attentive. If your looking for a place to have a small drink and catch up on your sports, this is the place.
