A cool little liquor store located in Austin Ranch. It’s pretty small compared to the selection that the other liquor stores off of 121 about 5 minutes away offer. I also think it’s pricier, but it’s convenient. And you pay for convenience. The gal who works there is really friendly and helpful. It’s never crowded. Easy to get in and out. A great place to stop if you are in the area and/or too lazy to drive to the other liquor stores where you’ll get more selection at cheaper prices.

Wow, our visit to The Liquor Cabinet was totally opposite of the last reviewer, so maybe the staff kinks have been worked out! :) We found this small, perfectly local location for the Austin Ranch area to be warm and friendly and to carry some very good stock. Surprisingly, they carried the«Effen» cucumber vodka I was looking for. Gotta love the name!!! Did Holland know we Americans would find the name so amusing and it was a great marketing tool or do they not have a clue??? He, he. I’ll have to ask a local next time we visit! I had a martini the other night made with Effen cucumber vodka, fresh lemon juice and mint that was awesome and so refreshing, so I will try to recreate myself. Oh, now that could be dangerous if I succeed… Glad I dropped by for many reasons — they had just what I was looking for, the staff was very pleasant and helpful, and the location was so convenient. Note: It is a one-way driveway, so be careful when entering the lot. Cheers!

I could not dislike this place more. Awful management and awful staff!!! They should be ashamed of themselves for the way the speak to people! I have never been more scared in my life when the employee YELLED at me about a misunderstanding. When I called the owner I was given a partial refund; he did not take it seriously. I can’t wait to see this place go under!

Large Selection, doesn’t look trashy, and is a very friendly place. When I went there wasn’t a lot of people there, but the person on duty took the time to help answer some questions about different liquors I was looking for. Not a long drive if you’re in the Plano area, just on the other side of the tollway right at the entrance of Austin Ranch. They just started carrying beer as well. Only downside is pulling into their parking lot, you have to basically do a u-turn.
