I believe this place is permanently closed. Stopped in the other day and the interior is gutted. See my photo.

This place is under new management. If you tried this place out and didn’t like it I suggest you give it a second chance. The food there is now out of this world. The new chefs there really turned that place around. Best soul food I’ve ever had.

I remember the old Faircrest and was a fan then. We tried the new one a couple months ago and have returned twice since. The chicken in all cases was cooked through and a tad on the browner side which is fine with me because it’s more flavorful. The potato salad and slaw are great and the barbeque baked beans are fantastic. We haven’t tried the other sides. We will be back.

Been here twice since they opened flavorless chicken. My youngest wanted the poutin that was terrible. I’m sorry I don’t usually write bad reviews but it just wasn’t worth the money we spent.

I was really disappointed in this place. I was excited that we had a new chicken place in town… but, they way over priced — beat out kfc price wise. Large chicken orders come with no sides. Everything is an add on. Chicken was cold, over cooked and tasteless. Nuggets were hard… read over cooked. Potatoes are instant and Cole slaw is passable. Major disappointment… Will not be going back.

You call yourself a chicken place but I can make better at home. And way to expensive on top of it. I would rename this place«fair at best» chicken. You know it’s not good when the chicken is all sitting under a heat lamp. For the premium price I paid and the time I waited I would expect the chicken cooked to order. Not the rubbery, dry and tasteless chicken I recieved. Even the size of the pieces were so small and meatless it was almost laughable. On top of that the coleslaw was mediocre, the potatoes tasted instant and I had to pay for a half ounce of barbecue sauce to cover up the dryness. I can’t see this place staying open for long, and as a local I will go two towns over for KFC next time.

I don’t know, I want to like this place more than I actually do, but the food is real hit and miss. The cluckers, which is sort of a popcorn chicken deal, is a safe bet and they have a nice selection of dipping sauces from which to choose from. They have a wide selection of sides that are all quite good. The fried chicken which should be their bread and butter is all over the place but I never found it to be REALLY good. I’ve see it slightly undercooked, dry as a bone making it almost unedible and just okay. I’ve tried it enough times to know it is a crapshoot on what you are going to get. Meh.

excellent takeout. Flavorful seasoning on the chicken, tasty coleslaw and potato salad and the pricing was reasonable. Will definitely be back

I went there last night to try it because I’ve heard good things about this place. My boyfriend ordered a 4PC of chicken. There were only breasts and thighs in the case ready to go, and he said just give him all thighs. Well, any other chicken place charges less for all dark meat, but in this case the girl at the counter said«I am going to have to charge you a little more for all thighs». Absurd. I ordered an 8PC of chicken to bring home to my teenagers. I waited a few minutes for it to finish frying. My 8 piece consisted of 3 wings(crazy) 1 leg(crazier) 2 breasts and 2 thighs. I thought an 8 piece was 2 wings, 2 breast, 2 legs and 2 thighs? I found the chicken was under cooked in the middle, soggy on the outside, not trimmed well at all and very bland with only maybe a salt and pepper seasoning. You can get better chicken at the gas station in Waterbury across from Hamilton Park.

New-so they’re still working out the kinks but the food was really good! They have authentic poutine with cheese curds. The clam chowder is delicious and the chicken was perfect both times I got it. The sides(mashed potatoes and potato salad) were not consistent-first time salty, second time bland. Call ahead so your order will be ready. Super friendly people there I will definitely be back!
