Delivery took well over an hour and food was sloppy and cold. I definitely wouldn’t recommend them for delivery. I have been to the location in Littleton several times and it is aays excellent. l

Great food. Read all the other reviews and it just sounds like everyone expects this place to be a fine dining establishment like elways or Brittany Hill. It’s not. It has the feel and tasted of philly.

We used to love the sandwiches here, dining area wasn’t the cleanest or neatest, but food was always good. Since the remodel, we haven’t been impressed. Staff is rude and today we were so put out by the extremely loud, audibly offensive, foul mouth language filled supposedly called music, which the staff refused to turn down. We will not be giving our business to this Thornton location any more.

Very good cheese steak! Tastes better the next day, warmed in the oven! Defiantly eating there again.

So, it is rare you write a review about food that you haven’t even tried. Taste of Philly didn’t even grant me that. After looking over the reviews it seemed to be pretty in the middle, seemed like an interesting and OK option instead of pizza for delivery. Which the Garlic Knot, right by them does deliver to us all the time, quality fast and friendly. I called this place however(on a Wednesday night, might I add). The kid literally said he didn’t want to deliver to me because he didn’t have that many people working and didn’t want to deliver me ‘sh***y food’. Who says that? It’s not even that we were out of their delivery radius either. We are two streets down. If the owners see this, please know how inconsiderate, lazy and just plain rude your employees are being. :-(

Came in on a weekday around 2pm, they weren’t busy. Guy took my order sitting down, got the order wrong too. I ordered a chicken philly with pizza fries. When I got home the philly was with beef(which I can’t eat red meat) and the fries were mediocre, pizza sauce was horrible. So the $ 10 I spent went into the trash can and I went to work without lunch. Needless to say, the philly was sloppy, small and wrong. The store was dirty and the workers were clueless to the happenings inside their own business. I will save my money and time, won’t be back.

Okay so this place used to be closed for a little over a year and I’ve read the reviews from before they closed for restructuring and it seems like they’ve made a complete 180 improvement. The interior is a very clean looking black white and green theme there’s some red accents on the counter that seemed a little out of place but not too bad. The girl at the counter didn’t take too long to take the order but she did take a moment in the middle of my order to answer the phone. While I was waiting and she was also on her personal phone, the kitchen is rowdy but I wouldn’t expect anything less from the kitchen environment. The guy that brought the food out front was polite and apologized for the wait though it really wasn’t that long. The food smells great and is reasonably priced. I will add more if the food is as good as I expected.

Taste of Philly is a bit wrong. Yes, great cheese steak sandwiches but not like the ones in Philly. I got the original with coleslaw. The sandwich was great tasting, no complaints there. The coleslaw however had no flavor, bland seasoning and the chunks were way to big. That was a waste of $ 2. I also got a fountain drink(coke zero). The drink seemed stale, like the machine hasn’t been cleaned in a while. The people were pleasant and did their job with a smile and with speed. I would recommend that the radio be turned down a bit. I wasn’t happy with loud music hurting my ears.

Pretty decent. I live right up the street but I forgot this place was here. The food was ready pretty quickly and everyone was relatively cheery. Got the«pepperoni cheese steak» kind of a unique combo but good. Check this place out if you’re looking for something different.

This place was closed for over a year. They always had pretty good grub(especially the fries), so I kept checking back(their site said«closed for renovations») and finally, YEY, they’re open again. I know this, because they sent me a coupon. Bonus! Well darn, they should have just stayed closed. I called last week, phone rang for 3 minutes, no answer. So, I tried again after a few minutes, they answered the phone quickly with a greeting, and can you hold? No problem. I hold for 5 minutes, give up. Call back(hey, I’m hungry and jonesing for their philly). Can you hold? No, I already held for 5 minutes. They take my order. Happy to say, same good grub, same good fries. YEY! Called again today, phone rings for 3 minutes. Try the same«wait a few and call again» trick. Phone rings 3 minutes. No answer. TaHeckWidIt! Stay closed why don’t ya? Sheesh! – Okay,. Couldn’t stop the dang craving. Called the next day, immediate answer, no hold, great grub, raising from 2 to 4 star. Thanks guys!

The place looks and feels like a tacky little strip mall eatery. I was greeted by profanity and grating music from the kitchen. After a few moments a staff member appeared and stared us apparently waiting for an order. $ 12 got me 12″ of original Cheesesteak and a large drink. About ten minutes later food was delivered to the table, it was hot and fairly tasty. Shitty profanity laced music continued to come from the kitchen along with«it’s almost closing time, get the fuck out» I’m not sure if that was for me or someone in the back. In general, I just didn’t get the feeling my business was appreciated. Shame, because a tasty cheesesteak up in the north end of town would be great.

When this Taste of Philly first opened, the food was great. We had not been there for awhile and decided to try it again. This time the food was terrible. The meat was burned and the bread was burned. The employees looked dirty and were not very friendly. We got our food to go so we didn’t realize that everything was burned until we got home and unwrapped the sandwiches. We called and spoke with someone who said they were the manager. We explained that everything was burned. The employee told us that the owner didn’t like to give credits or take returned food. We then took the food back to the store and opened the sandwiches in front of the employees and showed them that the sandwiches were burned. Not only were they burned, there was probably at least a fourth of the sandwich that didn’t have meat on it at all. We then told the employees we just needed our money back. They did give us our money back. They seemed a little more willing to do this when we spoke with them in person rather than over the phone. This store now says it is closed for restructuring, whatever that means. I only hope it means that someone else is taking the store over and will clean this place up and make sure the employees are clean.

My family and I came here one night over the summer. We waited about a half hour for sandwiches for four people(one was a kid’s meal) for take out. It was not busy. There were no other customers in the dining room until five minutes before we got our food. The food was okay. Nothing great but not bad. The service; however, was sad. The staff were not friendly. During our wait, we could hear some of the staff talking amongst themselves about a customer who had called in to complain about the food that had been delivered to them. We heard one man call the customers«liars» and said the customers were just trying to get free food out of the deal by complaining. The customer bashing session went on, complete with a few curse words here and there. I couldn’t believe they would talk that way about their customers when they had other customers sitting in the dining room waiting for their food. I will never go back. My kids did not need to be exposed to their cursing and coarse manners. What a dump!

Last night, This place reminded us why we had only been here a few times. When we walked in, there was one other customer in the restaurant. Yet nothing was cleaned or stocked. The guy was slow in taking our order. As in. He took his sweet time to do it. The guy gave me a weird look for adding olives, like it was weird to do that or something. The guy said the credit machine out front was«broken» and he had to take it to the back. He gave me the card and swiped it said it didn’t go through and took it back twice, scanning it three times. The wait was longer than it should have been. I don’t mind waiting for a cook to order, but it took too long. We ordered, waited, and took the food home, and it took 45 minutes. It would have been faster to go to a sit down restaurant. And we were the only ones there. The phone rang twice and no one answered it, even when they were next to the phone. When we got to the car, they accidently added an extra Sandwich and had to wait for the guy to take it out of our bag. When we got home, my large Philly was a regular, our chili cheese fries had no chili or cheese. The meal was okay. It was very greasy and not worth the price or wait. Honestly, the Philly sandwich at subway is better. The meal was pricey for what we ordered, and definitely for what we got since we were missing things.

The second you walk into this place you can feel the grease in the air. They have the old looking white and red décor. There is a long wall, at the very end there is a small window with a grumpy little man inside. That guy was far from helpful, and barely said a word to me. The price was pretty high, for the quality. The sandwich was decent, nothing to write home about, but I didn’t throw up either. I won’t be coming back, but overall it wasn’t awful.

Taste of Philly was truly just«ok.» We stopped in to get carry-out after hubby had car trouble and needed to pick up a rental car near by. Things we liked: Tastycakes! Good sized menu. Lots of choices! Soft, chewy bread. What we didn’t like: Overpriced — nearly $ 40 for a kids meal, three sandwiches and four Tastycakes. I love a good Philly cheesesteak, but for a tiny storefront in the middle of nowhere, this seemed excessive. Worth a visit, but just don’t get sticker-shock!

Not gonna lie, I’m a little embarrassed that I come here so often. Not because it’s not good but because I know it’s not good for you. This place falls into the greasy spoon category for me. You walk in and someone(usually not very friendly) takes your order. You sit down and they deliver it to the table when it’s ready. Everything is kind of tacky from grease or other unknown substances. The bathrooms are usually pretty rough and the climate control is useless because of the volume of people coming in and out. About the time you are disgusted the amazing sandwich arrives(I like the green chili or the hot-popper) and takes your mind off of everything. They are always piping hot and very tasty. With many to choose from I’d take a minute to survey the menu. When you are done you’ll need a nap and you may even feel a little guilty.
