Allegro Pizza

just picked up some italian cold cut sandwiches!!! absolutely delicious!!! Thank you Sal its always a joy to come in! The Italian music and the pictures are so beautiful!

Great place to go if you want to reminisce about your middle school free lunch days… they use the cheapest quality ingredients at this place.
The salad was literally torn up pieces of refrigerator burn iceberg lettuce with soggy tomatoes and carrot pieces. The «ranch» dressing tastes like chemicals… I can seriously still taste it as I write this…
The pizza is no better. The cheese is rubbery and thick, bland sauce, and cheap tasting pepperoni. The pizza breading is so thick it came apart from the bottom crust… not cool. My friend ordered a $ 7.95 tuna sub that did not come with chips or a drink. Needless to say it was sub par (pun intended).
The worst part is that this place is expensive for the crap they serve. To add insult to injury, they accept cash only meaning I not only paid $ 20 for terrible food but I also incurred a $ 1.75 fee to take out cash.
Thanks but no thanks… I’ll spend my money at a place that does not contract with the government to buy its cheese and produce (For those of you not riding the sarcastic train… that is a joke… I have no proof they use government cheese… other than my tastebuds).

COMPLETELY GONE DOWN HILL!
Today my mom and I ordered delivery. We’ve been ordering food from here for years. Lately the prices have gone WAY up and the quality has gone WAY down. The ingredients in their dishes are inconsistent (such as different types of vegetables in the primavera). Today, both of the cannoli we got had EXPIRED CHEESE FILLING. The pasta was over cooked as it has been for the past few months.

Not happy with my first experience here. I telephone ordered items to be picked up. When I got home my spaghetti main course was missing. I called them to ask what happened and they said I never ordered spaghetti. Ok, I guess I just dreamed I ordered it. I know, I should have checked all the bags upon pickup, but I was starved and in a hurry.
The stuffed shells were average. The minestrone soup was weird, maybe it was some version of an old fashioned recipe, but I didn’t care for it. It had inch and a half size chunks of vegetables and broth — what did I miss here, it was like eating a veggy platter. It was called minestrone with garlic knots but I received no knots. I did however order a separate serving of garlic knots, I did get those, and they were very good.
All said, I won’t be going back.
