Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf

The barista made the iced coffee I always get very watery and when I politely asked if they could remake it the barista responded «I can remake it but it is going to turn out the exact same.» Very disappointed in the customer service as well as poor barista skills. Reroute all further business to the Coffee bean off of avenida de los arboles. Well worth the few extra miles.

First time at a Coffee Bean! So glad to give it a try. I got a fun ice blended and I’m more than happy about it. It’s blended well and it’s not too sweet, like fraps can be :)

This old lady … I forgot her name! She’s been there too long enough but anyway, i asked for coffee if she could put it in the glass instead of paper cup, she said they don’t have glass avail? So lazy… And every time i ask if she can reduce the amount of sugar in my orders she gets so annoyed!!! Very loud and rude lady! She embarrassed me each time i ask her ! Very mean!

Great customer service and great selection of drinks & eats. The staff is friendly, efficient, and quick with your order. The shop is very modern and clean. It’s near several other shops & eateries, so parking can be a little hard to come by during rush hours.

They Always ALWAYS give me my ice mocha drink with drips down the side of the cup and they can never understand what «easy ice» is. Can management fix this. Geez!
I wear nice clothes and do not want mocha stains on it please!
Tip every time, but that’s gonna stop.

I only ever had 1 issue here and they didn’t happily and without incident assist me. I actually called to talk to a manager and never heard back

What happened, CBTL?! Dear Hubby and I met there this evening at 8:30, which is an hour before closing time. The whole experience felt rushed and tacky, sorry to say.
Almost all the food & pastries had already been pulled from the display case when we arrived an hour before closing. I just might reiterate that time designation a few times in this review — just to state the obvious! To me, when you have posted hours outside your door, you give adequate customer service during those hours. Instead, I felt like we were infringing on their closing time ritual.
My order was taken incorrectly. The barista fixed it, but it came to her wrong in the first place. The croissants were rapidly heading toward stale. Definitely not as fresh as in previous visits.
We chose to sit outside, hoping to be at the fire pit. That didn’t go so well. Several guests had been there for a while and showed no signs of budging, especially one fellow who was stretched out in one of the oversized wicker chairs with his feet up by the fire. He was fast asleep in that position and didn’t stir for over an hour. No idea how long he’d been napping there.
The adjacent table we took needed to be cleaned with a good hose down as there was sticky residue from who knows how long.
At 8:45, 45 minutes before closing, the patio Edison lights overhead went off. What? It wasn’t closing time yet! The CBTL sign on the front and side of the building was also off. Isn’t it there to advertise the business so people come in and spend money?
One of the exterior carriage lights was also off, a pet peeve of mine from previous visits for safety concerns when walking on the patio in the evening.
Reiterating one more time (and I hope Management is listening) that we got the bum’s rush despite coming in an hour before closing time!!!
Also was disappointed to see that the cozy seating areas to the right of the main entrance door have been replaced with bargain basic tables and chairs. The better to attract the crowd with laptops, I suppose. But the detriment to those who want to perhaps read, or converse in the previously attractive space.
Big dip in atmosphere overall. Not a good visit.

I’d like to start out by saying the service was great but the tea itself lacked any flavor at all I tried the peach and the passion blossom they were more than happy to let me try the passion but it wasn’t much better I always get my tea at Starbucks and thought I’d try coffe bean given it has tea leaf in the name but very disappointed with 3 honeys when I put no sweeteners in Starbucks tea, back to Starbucks I go

I like this coffee bean because the staff is really helpful and friendly. The line isnt usually too bad and its nice to spot here for a little pick me up during the day! The parking situation isnt too bad either and like I said, it never seems to be that busy. Im all about getting in and getting out as fast as possible. Ive never been held up here.

My favorite coffee bean !!! The staff here is amazing and always have a smile on their face. Every time I come here I leave happy. Diana the store manager greets everyone by name and you truly feel like this is your coffee bean !

This is my new go to spot for my morning cup of joe! The drinks are always on point and the service is great!
They also have a really nice seating area outside with really nice chairs and a fire pit. It also is a nice place if your looking to study or just relax and read.

This place rocks, I always come here to study in a peaceful atmosphere. The staff are great too, always friendly even in the wee hours of the morning. As most CBTL’s, the A/​C is always running, bring a jacket to keep warm!

Friendly staff, drinks always made right, calm and nice environment. Outdoor seating with fire pit. Parking is limited but works.

They have high chairs! Hurray!
This is probably my favorite Coffee Bean ever. There’s so many chairs to sit at and different kinds too; comphy chairs, a large communal table, small 2 people tables, larger 4 people tables, and tons of our door seating with and without shade. Great place to come and get work done.

I like my coffee bean drinks a certain way & I don’t mind paying extra for the things I want. I added coffee beans and chocolate syrup to my ice blended and the barista really gave me my money’s worth. Along with a cute smile. The place was clean and quite which I love. I live in Oxnard and was only in town for the day but I now know the spot to come to when I’m in TO.

My local Coffee Bean! More comfortable because of their outdoor seating and their indoor seats are cool too but less lighting for studying/​reading. Definitely consistent service although there is no attractive customers walking through so don’t expect to say hi to any strangers. Love the outdoor lighting and outdoor pit as well. Less sunlight and more shade than the Westlake Village location. I’m a regular at Coffee Bean and just being honest about the clientele there. Westlake has more attractive professionals.

I have been going to this CBTL since they open and I have had nothing but great service, my Latte is always made the way I want and the staff are always nice and friendly. Doesn’t matter how busy they are the service or quality never suffers.

I love Coffee Bean; I love this location. People are always nice and accommodating. The location is comfortable. Their black iced coffee is delicious. Great go-​to!

Great meeting place and study spot. Inside or on the patio, there is a good vibe/​atmosphere at this Bean. They have an outdoor fire pit and lots of greenery. Also, they have almond milk, which is big time brownie points in my book!
