I don’t give five stars easily but I give Greco’s five stars for their pizza. Humongous slices, thin crust, NY style, tasty, not fancy, just good stuff. The slices are as big as your head. I’ve ordered a few other things here over the years but as someone else here said, it’s all about the pizza here. Had a nice glass of Stella on drought tonight too for $ 5. My son enjoys the cheese pizza. I like the caprese pizza. Simple and satisfying.

We’ve been going to the Janns Mall outdoor movie night for the past few weeks and have chosen Greco’s as our choice to eat. The pizza slices are huge and there salads are big and very flavorful. The place needs a good wipe down, but the owner is very friendly and we get it pretty quickly.

It’s hot as an oven in this place, second complaint… why don’t you deliver before 5pm? Third complaint, I ordered 2 meatball sandwiches… I wait. and wait, the guy hands me 2 meatballs, I try to be nice. I order a beer which is the only good thing at this place, I eat the 2 meatballs and I order again, 2 meatball SANDWICHES! SANDWICHES! And I’m the a-h*le. Thanks. never going to see again at least.

Well, they sure do make big slices. Too bad that their pizzas is drippy, greasy swill. I would hesitate to even serve this to pigs. Went in for a slice a plain cheese. It was a complete disaster. It was basically greasy cheese bread. No sauce, and the cheese was the poorest quality available. These people have never been to New York. This place is a dumpster fire

Located in the Janss Mall in Thousand Oaks, this place is truly a gem. You simply cannot find bigger pizza slices anywhere. The pizzas here are absolutely SUPER-SIZED. The prices? Very cheap. One slice is more than capable of filling you for lunch, but if you are feeling bold, go ahead and order yourself a second. This place gets 4 stars not only for the size and super cheap prices, but also for the quality and taste. This is delicious bang for your buck, and I will be back.

The pizza was good — thin crust with a good quality cheese but the sauce reminded me of Dominos pizza too much. Not a big fan of the calzone — too much ricotta and wish their was more meat and cheese.

The pizza here is delicious. I’m not usually a fan of New York style but the flavor is really good! The atmosphere is ok. Kind of seems like you’re bothering staff but the pizza is worth it!

It boggles my mind that a meatball sandwich could suck so hard, but this one did… it could have been a vacuum cleaner, that’s how hard it sucked. Too much bread. No flavor in the meat. Not like«no flavor» in a hyperbolic way, like«wow that’s way under-seasoned», but as in like i literally taste nothing. Wait, I did taste a slight tartness from the tomato sauce, but other than that, spongy ball of whatever in my bread had no flavor. If there was cheese in that sandwich, I couldn’t taste it, If there wasn’t, who the F*CK doesn’t put cheese in a meat ball sandwich. Haven’t tried the pizzas here, but most likely not going back.

Thank you, GrubHub, for including this place, otherwise I’d never think to order from here. Pizza is absolutely delicious, great crust and sauce. Their house salad dressing is to die for, too. My great first experience was made even nicer with the friendliest, most gracious driver ever! Very appreciative of the cash tip, so unlike most other local places who hire snot-nosed brats that can seemingly only communicate through grunts or awkward silence. He also found my house easily and didn’t have to endure being accused of taking my numbers off my house(because I love to do that while laughing maniacally into the night, obviously…) Will definitely order again! Fantastic all around, also a bit cheaper than some other local options.

I am an Ex-Nyer and a Pizza snob. This place is really good. As my daughter noted the ratio between cheese and sauce is just right and has a really really nice thin crust. Only issue was a little too much oil on top of the cheese(use napkins to blot it). Giant slices at $ 4.00 per slice but they equal two regular slices at most other places. Great for a bite before or after the movie next door.

Delicious & a bargain too. The pizza slices are huge & they will put on any toppings you want although I enjoyed the fresh basil, tomatoes & mozzarella on the Caprese slice, only $ 6.50. Plus Stella on draft. It’s buried in the Janss Marketplace, next to the Regency Theatres entrance but well worth seeking out. NOT fancy.

Not a bad piece of pizza! Giant slices, as that is the style. I had one big slice of sausage and mushrooms. Everything tastes fresh, and the crust had good structural integrity for prime folding and chomping activities. It’s the best way to eat a really good slice of pizza. The atmospheres is super casual and open. Good lighting. Great place for a bite after a movie! I’m excited to come again and hopefully share a whole pie with someone.

I just got back from NY(where I was born and raised)(#QGTM)… while I was in NY I decided to cheat with cheese pizza(I normally follow a vegan diet) and when I got back to L. A, I had a NY pizza itch that I couldn’t scratch until I stumbled upon Grecco’s! As a native New Yorker, take my word… this is great NY style pizza and the slices are HUGE! My husband just ordered another slice for his dinner tonight!

For New York pizza. This place is pretty damn good. The cheese pizza itself is really good and I prefer it without any toppings. The problems w adding toppings is the amount of oil that will drop from the pizza. You know the pizza is good when that happens but sometimes it’s a little to much. Another flaw about this place is the price. I wish it was cheaper per slice($ 4 each) but you can’t complain since you are full after a slice. The quality of the food is definitely there, but the price and few flaws make it kind of interesting. 4⁄5 for food, 4⁄5 for service 3⁄5 for everything else including price and messiness.

A few nights ago my husband and I stopped in for dinner after an early movie. He had the lasagna. A tasty, generous portion that seems a little pricy by itself. I would prefer a slightly smaller portion served with a bit of salad for $ 11.95. Perhaps it seems on the expensive side because this is a order-at-the-counter place, not a sit down-restaurant. I ordered a calzone which was huge but the ricotta and mozzarella somehow had a lot of extra water that made the dough a bit soggy. The marinara sauce served with it was great. My husband ordered a glass if wine but it was obvious it been open at least a few days. Skip it unless they are opening a new bottle for you. It was only 7:15 but the place smelled strongly of cleaner, as if the guys were getting a jump on closing. It was a quiet Monday night so I can’t blame them but how a restaurant smells can make or break it for me. We ate there a few years back and enjoyed it more. Maybe we just caught them on a bad night.

Antipasto is good but more in a style of a chef salad with Italian meats, hard boiled egg, mushrooms, peppers, and cheese, good but doesn’t seem traditional as I know antipasto a to be. Loving the lasagne, great tasting sauce and thin noodles makes for a tasty cheesy delight. Very thin crust(perhaps a corn meal crust) with a thin layer of sauce covered with hints of butter and garlic covered with baked cheese; wonderful taste and crunch. Pizza sold by the slice, slice enough for two, go for it.

They serve some delicious pizza here! OMG It’s fantastic. The service is friendly too. It’s not the cleanest in my opinion and I have tried the pasta and the sandwiches here. I say stick to the pizza. I don’t have a lot of complaints really. It’s all about the pizza baby!!!

They serve HOLYMOLEYGIGANTIC28″ pizza pies here!!! Makes ya say, «WHOOOAAA!» when you first open that pizza box and get a load of Greco’s Party Pizza. Greco’s is located in Thousand Oaks’ Janss Mall by the Regency Movie Theaters and Gold’s Gym. Probably easier to walk to, by docking in the parking structure behind the mall, off Wilbur Rd. Staff was friendly during our visit. We placed our order ahead of time and pizzas were ready for transport, on time, nice & hot! Too bad they don’t deliver. *PARTYPIZZA, 28″($ 28.95, for cheese only; $ 4.50/extra topping): Normally serves 8 – 10 people, these are VISUALLYIMPRESSIVE in size. Pizza slices can be cut as small as you want. They call their pizza, «traditional N.Y. pizza,» and I’d have to say it’s pretty darn close, having lived in New York for a few years and chowed down on a fair share of slices all over the City. Thin crust, foldable for easy eats(If ya been to NYC, you know what I’m talkin’ ’bout!), a touch greasy, and tasty toppings with cheese still stretchy… yup, just like I remember :) Got 1 each of pepperoni and cheese. The young bucks I was feeding sure enjoyed them just as much as I did. The only thing I thought was odd was that they were going to charge me for plates and napkins. Really?!? I just bought 2 Party Pizzas to go! TWO pies that feed 8 – 10 people EACH! Things that make you say, «Hmmm…» Are they plate hoarders? This is the«going green» for pizzerias? Is this a New York tradition I was unaware of, OR worse, maybe, it’s a sign of economic stress, and Greco’s is on the verge of closing!!! In that case, I can get my own plates ;) Regardless, I’m a fan. No one else in the VC brings pizzas Godzilla-sized like Greco’s does, and the style & taste is very reminiscent of The Big Apple’s pies. If ya dig NYC pies, Greco’s is definitely worth sampling!
