I have just leased my second Hyundai Sonata Hybrid from Ladin and like the first one it was a very pleasant experience. We leased both cars from Jim Anderson, the internet manager and he was very helpful and we were able to get the car with all the options we wanted. Ladin is a family run business and you feel like you are part of the family. I highly recommend Ladin Hyundai and if you go there ask for Jim.

I purchased a Hyundai from Timothy Miller… He was remarkable! I have purchased a lot of cars in my life, and I can honestly say, I have never had a nicer, more knowledgeable sales person in my life. He not only spent as much time as I needed, explaining how everything worked, he said I could come back anytime, and he would be happy to teach me more! All this was AFTER the sale… Great guy!!!

Went to this dealer 2 years ago to lease an Elantra. I ended up leasing in Oxnard Hyundai due to Ladin’s terrible service when I originally inquired about the car. I went to return my lease today and because I didn’t want to purchase the car or lease a new Hyundai, they refused to take my lease. Please be aware that you can return your lease to a different dealer (their own finance manager informed me that I could). I was kicked off their property because I refused to accept their excuse even though I was already outside of their dealership. Terrible individuals! Please go to Oxnard Hyundai!!!

Went in this evening and purchased a 2017 Hyundai Santa Fe. Alan Johnson helped me and it was a great experience. I was out with my car in less than 2 hours. Also helped me with getting the most from my trade in.

My wife and I had a very positive experience purchasing a used Chevy Tahoe here. We were assisted by sales consultant Harris Brazina, whose politeness and hospitality were outstanding. He let us take all the time we wanted to inspect and test drive the car, and after we had purchased it he had it cleaned and fully fuelled, and ensured everything was to our satisfaction before we drove it away. Thanks are due also to Ed Papac, and to finance manager Ken Marceau who turned the usually lengthy and tedious paperwork into a short, simple and efficient procedure. Overall a thoroughly enjoyable experience, and we love the car.

Either the Technicians there are stupid and unskilled, or they were just trying to avoid doing warranty work. Went in with several noise complaints and even demonstrated the noise for them and they kept telling me they were unable to imitate it. Kept blaming it on an aftermarket exhaust even though I told them several times the noises existed before the exhaust was ever installed. They play real nice and friendly until after you purchase a car and then don’t give a rat’s ass about. Typical scandalous car salesmen here. IF YOU WANT A HYUNDAI OR SUBARU, TRY SIMI VALLEY OR VENTURA.

I just bought a car at Ladin Hyundai Subaru from the Internet sales manager Alan Johnson. Excellent service and very easy to work with. I told him wanted I wanted and what I hoped to pay. We did financing on line and everything was in place when I arrived. Highly recommend!

No hassle, great deal on a brand new 2016 Santa Fe Sport fully loaded! Our salesman Craig was easy to work with and no high pressure nonsense to buy something we didn’t want it couldn’t afford. Sales manager and finance officer were also very nice and helpful.

I bought a Santa Fe from a private party. When I took the car to the gas station to fill it up, it filled up very fast. Did not think too much about it until I got in and looked at the gauge. It read ½ full. I blamed it on myself and went on my merry way. Next time, the same thing happened. This prompted me to look up the problem on a Hyundai forum, which said this is a very common issue with this brand and model. It won’t fill up all the way and it’s almost impossible to get a full tank.
So I called Ladin (because they were close to my house) and scheduled an appointment with a service writer. The lady that helped me said that they never heard of this issue before. I knew she was full of BS because it is a very common issue as it’s all over the forums. Anyways, I brought the car in and had to wait in a line in the street in front of the dealership. The place is not acceptable as employee parking takes up every place you could ever think of parking. It’s a disaster. After getting my car back, they denied that there was a problem. I decided to leave it at that. They were the professionals.
I then went to a Costco gas station and the supervising gas station employee came up to me and asked me how I fill this car up? I was not sure what he was talking about, so I asked him to explain. He informed me that Hyundai is known to have an issue with filling up the tank. I asked him how he knew. He said that he sees the issue many, many times per day, all with Hyundai. I then felt if a gas station guy knew there was an issue, there had to be one. He had nothing to gain.
Not trusting Ladin (because they failed to acknowledge and fix it the first time and pretended not to know about the common issue), I called Alexander Hyundai of Oxnard. The service manager immediately acknowledged the problem as a common issue, and stated that they know how to fix it. So I took the car in and they immediately found the issue. Afterwards, I took it to the gas station and the car filled all the way up, which it never achieved before. You might say it was a factor of dealership experience. I disagree because Ladin is definitely the busier dealership. The other plus was that that Alexander Hyundai was nice and not over crowded like Ladin. The service writer and the service manager were wonderful to deal with. They were happy to have my business, unlike Ladin. Yep, it is a longer drive, but it is worth it if you want it done right. Going to Oxnard from now on.

Just finished a complicated transaction with Ladin Hyundai, and it went perfectly! All the people I dealt with were ready and able to take care of business for me, in a quick and efficient and friendly fashion. Reggie was great to work with and I would recommend him highly. This is my fourth car from the Ladin family over 15 years! Highly recommend.

I have to give a major shout-​out to Alan Johnson.
I simply just mentioned what I was looking for when my Elantra Lease was up in 6 months, and man did he go to work. Conveniently and professionally did he call me to let me know about what Ladin could offer me with my next car. On a tight schedule, Alan always made sure the car I wanted to test drive was ready to go, key in hand, so I could just walk up and test away. I was constantly kept in the loop and he worked hard to ensure I got the deal I not only was looking for, but needed.
Needless to say, I now am in a beautiful Sonata that I cannot be happier with. It’s my second car with Ladin because they offer the best deals and you can’t beat their service and loaner car program. They have everything you need in product, the service is impeccable, and the staff are knowledgeable and professional.

I recently went to Ladin Hyundai. I went two times in three weeks.
Visit 1. Minor, super minor issue with speaker and a generic car inspection.
Visit 2. Get the new speaker installed in the car (under warranty).
This has been my experience. Note, I bought a new Hyundai a year and a half ago at another dealership.
1. They got my phone number wrong in their system. That’s fine normally. It’s not fine when I ask to correct it (when I see the mistake on my first visit), they confirm its corrected, and then they call the wrong number to tell me that my part had arrived for the repair.
My part had arrived a full week prior to me getting upset as to why they didn’t call me, and calling in myself, and being then informed that they had called the wrong number a week prior.
2. After leaving the 1^st visit, they inform me that my engine air filter, cabin air filter, engine oil all need changing, and that my coolant was dangerously low.
I agree with the engine and cabin air filter. I bought new ones immediately from the dealer parts store, to install them myself when I get home. The oil? Lol. I finished changing it myself the night prior, and I’ve checked the dipstick nearly ten times since. It’s more than fine.
Coolant? I agree as well, I was surprised that a relatively new car would need coolant but fine. The level was low. I buy coolant from the dealer parts store, go to Vons and buy distilled water, ⁵⁰⁄₅₀ it, and pour it in until it reaches the midpoint between L and F on the reservoir tank.
Now, the 2^nd visit.
They change the speaker. Did it fix the problem? No. That means we wasted a perfectly good speaker.
I get the car back, and I still need a new engine air filter and cabin air filter. I changed them not even a week before. Lol.
My coolant is still dangerously low according to them, but this time they top it off for me. TO THE BRIM OF THE RESERVOIR TANK. Wayyyy beyond full. I bet they just put some tap water in there.
But hey, my oil is fine this second time! (it was brand new the first time, and I’ve not touched it since that first time… lol)
These «mechanics» are not trained in cars; they are Walmart employees flipping oil.
Don’t take your car here for service.
The sales and service customer facing staff is fine though.

I had an amazing experience buying my brand-​new 2016 Tucson from this dealership. Before arriving I had the pleasure of speaking with Ed who confirmed that they had the exact car I wanted.
When I arrived I was introduced to Tim who made the buying experience a dream. From the moment I walked on the lot to the moment I left two hours later after I had signed the contract, everyone at this dealership was nothing but kind and welcoming. I highly recommend going here to buy your next car and suggest that you ask for Tim. He’ll be your guy! He answered all the questions I threw at him and had a very realistic view when it came to the negotiation portion of the sale. Whenever my family or friends need a car this is where I will send them!

After visiting numerous car lots including Kirby in Ventura and Keyes in the Valley, I visited Ladin in Thousand Oaks and met Steve Torrez. He took the patience to explain how Hyundai and Subaru compared to other vehicles. He is a wealth of knowledge and my new car guru!
We have been planning to buy an SUV for a while and have done our share of car lot hopping. We will be buying soon and will only buy from Ladin and Steve Torrez. He is not far from our home, but we would make the drive even if he were! Steve rocks!
