This dealership is by far the worst Mercedes-​Benz dealership experience I’ve ever had. They nickel and dime everything from a customer. There’s a reason why Fletcher Jones of Newport Beach is #1 in SoCal.
Drove a very far distance to seriously inquire about a CPO car and when we got there they did not want to budge a dime on the sales price for a car that’s been on their lot for over 60 days. That’s not how you create loyalty and get return business to a brand or dealership.
The sales manager (Dave) couldn’t even give us a AMG license plate frame to congratulate us on the purchase of a AMG car. Come on Dave, $ 35 is too much to ask?
When someone drives over 120 miles to come to your dealership to purchase a car, you could have the courtesy of coming out of your office to speak with them yourself when they request it, instead you just send your sales guy with no response to our request.
The finance woman was also not very knowledgeable about the very products she’s trying to sell to you in the finance process (extended warranty, maintenance, LoJack). It’s rude to ignore your clients questions because you don’t want to acknowledge they’re right. Train your staff to be able to answer questions and know the model specifics like engine code names and chassis codes…

i just purchased a 2014 range rover… my salesman was Spencer Daw and it was a very mutual approach to getting the negotiation and transaction completed. A seasoned professional who also knew jaguar very well and i drive up in one. they detailed and delivered vehicle to my home in santa barbara. Showroom has awesome mercedes performance elegant cars. Finance department awesome service … great inventory of vehicles. … go there. sam p

Chuck Lesser is the best anyone could ask for — I highly recommend if your MBZ needs service you book it in here. After twice at Calabasas I’d had enough of them not fixing my car– and ending up with more problems– I decided to go to Silverstar– though it way farther away for me. They are so great with the service so I would not hesitate ever going there again. Chuck is a sweet, honest and efficient person who understands his customers well and will not let you down! highly recommend him and their wonderful service dept. team!

Wow, what bad service. You can’t talk to anyone and when you finally do they are totally rude. I spent 140k on my mercedes. To get service like that means there is a real problem at this dealership

Ray Mundo provided excellent customer service. I needed to get more info on my Range Rover sport lease to purchase option and extended warranty. He was knowledgeable, extremely patient and honest I haven’t made my final decision yet but will make sure to use his service when I’m ready. Again he is great!

The team over at SilverStar Westlake/​Thousand Oaks Mercedes Benz are super professional, informative, and quick. I’ve had my fair share of MB dealership issues. I’ve gone to pretty much every one in LA, this dealerships, is just a notch below Encino MB.
Came in with low tire pressure, found out I had a huge nail in my tire. Was told it was fixable for $ 20 but upon further inspection, they said my tires are run-​flats and must be replaced. $ 400 later and the next day I was back on the road, even though they didn’t have the tire in stock, somehow they got it the next day and had it done by 5pm.
They washed my car and vacuumed the inside and I was happy about that because that was my next thing to do on the bucket list.
Kinda wishing I bought my car here after I heard all these good reviews. Bought mine at Calabasas MB, sales is excellent but their service dept is a crap-​chute.
if you are looking to service your MB, head here or Encino! Both were courteous, professional, and quick.

Excellent customer service and great people skills (forgotten art in most dealerships).
Exactly how you would expect to be treated in a luxury brand car dealership. Just leased my first Mercedes from them and the attention to detail was great. They spent so much time with me after as well showing me how the car operates and teaching me all features. Not just here’s the car and bye. Thank you for the personal touch. Would highly recommend this dealership.
EDIT: Trevor was the one who helped me and I think its only fair to update the review to make sure he’s mentioned. He treated me and my husband with care and took the time to walk us through everything. Very happy.

If I could give this place 12 stars I would. As far as I am concerned you are a fool if you go anywhere else to get a Mercedes.

The customer service here far EXCEEDS any and all of my expectations.
I have never felt stressed out or taken advantage of at this dealership.
Everyone from sales to the finance office are a total class act with a level of humanity and kindness that is very unique to a «car dealership».
The manager who’s name is SCOTT clearly sets the tone and is not only kind and sincere but extremely honest and knowledgable.

This is the best Mercedes Benz Dealership in all of the USA! SilverStar A.G. Thousand Oaks!
I first found this wonderful dealership by accident when I randomly called and spoke on the phone with Ron Keller. Ron is in sales and boy oh boy does he know his stuff. Ron Keller is awesome one of my Top people! When you call you speak with Anna Richardson, the receptionist, who is very warm, caring and kind. On any given day you are greeted by Scott Stanley who is their WONDERFUL general manager and president at SilverStar. Then on the other side of their lovely glass and open building is Swen Schramel, Service Manager whom is super helpful and I can’t say enough about him. My Customer Service Advisor is Dave Hollander. Every time I see Dave he is so happy to see me and I enjoy him so much and I also can’t say enough about him. Dave is EXTREMELY HELPFUL, STUDIOUS, and so PROFESSIONAL! Dave always makes me feel like all is well and no matter what, they’ve got my back and got this covered. My team also consists of Bret Spellman, my magical mechanic who works his magic behind the scenes along with ‘the one and only’, Marty Cafarelli, shop foreman, whom is one of the three top foreman for Mercedes Benz nationwide. He is ‘one of a kind’ the master mechanic who is always working hard to make sure everything is PERFECT when the car is picked up!
Recently I had the pleasure of working with Damon Farehi in sales, who is star certified. Damon is WONDERFUL and you will be happy if you work with him. He is a Top Sales person and extremely helpful. Damon introduced us to Ginger and Dave who were extremely sensitive to our needs. I have recently had the pleasure of speaking with Ken Shaw who oversees the entire dealership and we had a long conversation about all the people I’ve mentioned above. I hope I get to meet the owners one day; John and Mary Anderson, I have heard that they are the ‘salt of the earth’, and, their dealership is a reflection of that because it stands apart from all the others! They ALL care about you and your car no matter how old or new your Mercedes is, and they are extremely ethical and honest, but more importantly, they treat their customers like family. (My 1990 Mercedes hums after Marty and Bret work on her, and if you saw her you’d agree, she looks as good as she did when she was picked up on that European Tour in 1990.)
While you wait be sure to drink some cold apple juice or water and eat some yummy fruit. If you need a ride you can have a loaner car if you plan ahead or you can get picked up and dropped off if planned ahead as well. Wilson Quinonez, the head Porter will make the arrangements, he’s awesome! This is a Top Act all the way around! I just leased my second Mercedes through Marian Dailey. She is the Internet Manager at Silver Star A.G. I had such a fantastic experience the first time, that I was thrilled that she was still there 3 years later.
Marian made both leasing experiences extremely easy. I did everything over email and then just came in to sign the contract. She is so nice, real & helpful. Always made me feel I could trust her. Not the typical car dealer experience I’ve had in the past. She worked SO hard to get me exactly what I wanted, even though it was hard to find.
I truly cannot say enough good things about Marian and my overall experience at Silver Star.
I know that most of her business is repeat clients and referrals. Goes to show how truly great she is.

Ok where is the 6^th star for ratings?
First off, coming from a horrible experience at another dealer it was so refreshing to deal with Tina James and Silver Star Mercedes of Thousand Oaks!
I contacted her through a friend that got a car and explained what we were looking for.
She located the perfect vehicle, personally inspected and had all the paperwork for my wife and I when we arrived. She was very clear about pricing and worked to keep us in budget and there was no surprises. Tina communicates very well through her mobile and email.
She stayed late after the dealer closed to explain everything and treated us like friends and less like just customers. My wife loved her (Believe me that’s huge in my life)
We live in Orange County but it was worth the drive!
Overall a wonderful experience and I cant wait to refer friends.

After dealing with numerous HORRIBLE Mercedes Salespeople as my lease was coming due, I came across a breathe of fresh air. Her name is Marian Dailey at Silver Star Fleet Sales.
Marian made my transaction so simple and fun, and of course beating all the other dealer prices I had been quoted. I did not even have to drive there as all the others dealers wanted me to do, even though most did not even return a phone call.
I was just about to switch to another brand until I found Marian.
I cannot say enough good things about her, she makes getting a new car a happy occasion as it should be.
Do not go anywhere else!

I just leased a new E-​class from Marian Dailey. Marian has quickly and single handedly changed my perception of the car dealer business. My experience was nothing short of perfect. Marian was extremely responsive, accommodating, knowledgeable and enjoyable to work with… Oh and hilarious! I got a great deal and love my new car. Save yourself the time and aggravation and just call Marian. She’s no stress and will make it happen!

My wife and I went into the dealership this past Sunday. We were looking for a car for our daughter, after we found one that we were interested in we looked for a salesperson. After finding one, he seemed unwilling to help us, he actually told us to sell our trade on Craigslist and also purchase the car we wanted on Craigslist as well. I was shocked, after leaving, we went to Ruznak BMW next door, we could not of been treated nicer. I am going back to Ruznak Pre Owned today to purchase the Mercedes we put a deposit on. I guess when a dealership picks the customer it wants to sell too, things must be great at Silver Star Mercedes.
Update: got the Mercedes from Vannessa at Ruznak Bmw, it is awesome and the service was first class.

One of the worst dealerships i have ever visited… Though the GM was extremely nice and courteous, professional … The sales rep was very very rude and starting screeming at us when we came out to see the Merc GL again… He started putting allegations ghat we have no intentions to buy and we only came to waste his time and take pictures of invoice so that we can negotiate with other dealers !!
My Wife and me went to buy the GL 450 car and were negotiating the final price and were 10 minutes away from closing the deal till the Sales Rep started screaming !
Shame on Mercedes Dealership… Will never recommend to anyone !!

+5 stars for Raoul d’Amantte because he’s a great guy. I had nightmares shopping around at other Mercedes-​Benz dealerships but Raoul was quick, polite, direct, and honest. No games with numbers, no high pressure sales tactics, and phenomenal customer service. I got the car I wanted and I love it. When the MBZ survey came I gave him a perfect score.
–4 stars for their Finance department. The Finance lady, Ginger, never smiled at me, wasn’t welcoming to my questions about the numbers on the contract, and at one point snapped at me to «chill out» when I asked for two copies of everything I signed. She started berating me, rolling her eyes, and it was such ridiculously rude treatment that I sat there at a loss of what to say.
The experience I had in the Finance office was so different from the sales floor this dealership felt bipolar. When the MBZ survey came I gave her zero stars. Re-​train and re-​educate your people so that behavior never happens again.
That was the lowest point of my experience here and it was the reason I almost cancelled the deal and walked out.
+3 star for beautiful facilities, car selection, and amenities. A truly luxury dealership.

The cars are the same everywhere. So the people are the X factor.
Just purchased a beauty from these guys. Excellent experience. Easy, honest, and a killer deal. Highly recommended. Can’t wait to buy my next car from them. Not a happy customer… in fact outraged would be an understatement. We purchased a new 2013 Mercedes Benz e350 diesel in November 2012. We have never had any issue with the vehicle. We performed the oil changes a head of schedule. In August 2014 the car stopped running. We had they vehicle towed to the dealership. The next morning we received a call from the service writer Alex Melgar, who indicated that they have the vehicle and would get it in for diagnosis immediately. A couple of hours later Alex called and stated that the vehicle is covered under warranty and that the technician had pulled a trouble code from the computer and that the starter motor had gone out and that a new one had been ordered.
Upon arrival of the new starter motor they installed it into the vehicle and that did not correct the problem. They then came back and stated that there is something wrong with the engine and it might have to be replaced. They then asked for a copy of the maintenance record for the oil changes, which i promptly provided to them with copies of receipts, bank statements etc.
The Service manager Swen then contacts me and says that they do not believe that the maintenance was performed despite the documentation provided and that they will not honor the warranty and to replace the engine in the car the parts alone are in excess of $ 26,000.
I am now forced with no other option but to sue, make complaint to every agency dealing with automotive repair, including making reference to the Magnuson-​Moss Act which is a federal act. We will see how this plays out.
If I could give negative stars i certainly would.
