Best service I have ever received at a McDonalds! Kelsey helped me at the register and was friendly, helpful, and accommodating to my request. Annette brought me my food at the table and asked if she could get me anything. She brought me water and I was very satisfied. This is service you get at a sit down restaurant… Usually not a McDonalds. Great job to management for raising the bar and quality of service.

I come to this mcdonalds on an embarrassingly daily basis. I always get a large unsweetened iced tea. Annette is WONDERFUL! She works in the morning and is pleasant and I truly enjoy seeing her everyday. That being said twice now I have ordered my tea, unsweetened as usual, and it has been slightly filled with sweet tea, as if they have run out and topped it off with the sweet tea they had in excess. I let it go the first time but, as I am paying $ 1.69 for it, the second time I called to make management aware of the issue. I was met with the response of a manager, Kimberly, who said that since it was not food they messed up on there was nothing she could do. I was then met with an apology and silence, no offer to fix the problem. That’s when I stated that I come there everyday and I am confused as to why I am expected to pay for something that is not what I ordered. She then proceeded to behave as if this was some mcdonalds Boston tea party exchange where I had some ulterior motive for wanting what I paid for. As if I were trying to snake a free iced tea from them. She said,“I’m looking up the orders right now.” WOW! GOODYOUWILLSEEMYUNSWEETENEDICEDTEAAND I DON’T APPRECIATETHECODECENSION! THEN, after I explain the idiocracy of the situation she is expecting me to swallow, she tries to ‘flip the script’ and say she always intended to give me an iced tea. Hmmm. Me thinks not. You cannot back pedal your words to make your customers feel crazy. It makes you look inconsiderate and unintelligent.

This place is doing something funny with their drive-thru! They make soooo many cars pull over and park instead of giving it to them in the drive-thru. I think they are trying to make their time look better– almost every time I go here they do it to me and I don’t have any special orders. This has been since it was rebuilt.

Just finished eating at this McDonald’s and very disappointed. Had Quarter Pounder Deluxe and Big Mac. This McDonald’s is definitely reinforcing my view that the quality of McDonald’s in California is going down. With the big push for increasing salary for the workers, I find that the quality and valueof the McDonald’s product is definitely decreasing to the point where it is no longer a viable option for fast food. On this visit I was extremely disappointed with the quality of the food. Both the Quarter Pounder and the Big Mac were luke warm at best. So much so, that the cheese was not even melted or even warm. The patties were overdone and dry. Yes, they were edible, but barely. In addition, just like all the other McDonald’s in my area that I have been to, as well as others in various areas of California, there is an almost non-existent dollar menu anymore. Drinks at this one varied from $ 1 to $ 1.59. I doubt very much that they have a large profit margin in the drinks such that they could not afford to maintain the dollar drink at any size. This is definitely a losing business plan in my mind if they want to retain customer loyalty. Even Costco maintains the hot dog and a drink for a $ 1.59. They’ve also stated that they have no plans of raising that as that is one of their biggest draws to the food court and this is with them acknowledging that it is a loss leader. My experience with McDonald’s in other areas is slightly better but it general the quality and the value has gone down significantly in comparison to other fast food restaurants such as Burger King, Carl’s Jr, and Subway. In conclusion, my rating of this McDonald’s is extremely poor. I cannot give it any recommendations as to quality, value, or price. Highly disappointed it. Will definitely not come here again.

Everytime! they never give you ketchup at drive thru, not even ask you! sometimes not even put napkin inside. Hey manager, try to eat fries without ketchup and napkin in your car, then next time you will know how important they are. Dont try to save money on it.

This restaurant consistently does not acknowledge requests for NO onions. I cannot eat them. I just purchased a burger being extremely hungry with limited options open to visit, asked for no onions, and asked again prior to receiving the food. I was specifically told when receiving the food that there would be no onions. That was BS! You might as well have given me double onions. I discovered this at home which meant that it was too much of a hassle to take back. Bring me back Carl’s Jr’s on Moorpark. While somewhat out of the way, they could get an order RIGHT!

We are regulars at this McDonalds, however our last visit was unnaceptable. How in the world can you get and order of a PLAIN hamburger wrong 3 times in the same visit!!! Yeah I know it is McDonalds but jeez people. Also the soda machine was probably broken because icky things came out in my Dr. Pepper that made it inedible :(Only thing that this place has going for it is that it has a nice looking modern design. Usually this place does better when I come here. Sigh. UPDATE: The other day I went just to get a hamburger, well again they got the order wrong. And then they charged me 5 bucks over so I got an employee to complain, I got the manager and she gave me my money back quick. So that is the saving grace for this place to not fall to 1 star. Some people would say I just wasted my time for five dollars but people should not mess up like this.

This is the best McDonald’s in all of Thousand Oaks, Newbury Park, Westlake, and Agoura. They stand out for their friendliness, professionalism, and efficiency. It is always a pleasant experience coming here.

I am getting really really really tired of the food I am being given at the drive-thru at this location. It’s gotten to be daily and truly terrible. The ONLY reason I go to this McDonalds is because it’s closest to my home and the McDonalds at Park Oaks is not much better, but oddly McDonalds at Newbury Park and Oxnard(Vineyard) are vastly different. If you’re getting the egg McMuffin for breakfast this place is fine, as not too much to screw up on this order, but if you order the«big» breakfast… you will get a TINY thing of eggs. I actually video taped my breakfast at Oxnard the other day, vs what Thousand Oaks serves. The biscuits are so hard, you almost can not eat them. Shameful to serve such. I’d be so embarrassed to work there and have to put those biscuits into a bag for any customer, must less a DAILY customer. It’s shameful. I am writing this review today, because I am simply tired of the terrible food I am being served and today was the final straw. I ordered a big breakfast and two sausage biscuits for(co-workers)(office three minutes away) Hard as rocks, as if they were baked weeks ago. Honestly, truly terrible and it’s become a daily thing. If you want a good biscuit folks, try Carls Jr Wood Ranch. As for the employees… while all have been friendly, it borders on some really odd folks to people you think… what are you working here for? There are a couple, that makes me think… you’re far to normal to be working with these people And there is a male Hispanic manager that acts as if he would rather be anywhere else, but there. Not friendly at all, to the point of being odd, as if he appears to be mad.(very strange.) His friendly words almost seemed forced. I’ve never had an issue with him, it just comes across as if dislikes his job. As for lunch or dinner, I can’t really comment, as I am mostly a McDonalds breakfast person. But on a final note… why is it that at McDonalds on Arboles and Moorpark Road that the Big Breakfast egg is so small, but in Newbury Park and Oxnard it is three to four times the size? There have been mornings that I have driven the seven miles out of my way to travel to the Newbury Park location and that should not be happening. And if anyone does read this… BISCUITS shouldn’t leave your location if they feel like rocks! I’m telling you, I would almost bet you could toss them at glass(like a window) and it would cause the window to shatter lock a rock would. That is how hard they are. The ones I have received lately are truly not edible. Final thought on the Big Breakfast. Biscuits(FAIL) Eggs(good, but where are they… ONE or two bites of eggs hardly constitute a big breakfast) Hashbrown, fine… maybe a bit oily, but fine and the sausage almost always is good. One other thing while I am thinking about it. Why is WIFI service TERRIBLE at ALLMCDONALDS? I am a drive-thru person and I like to use WIFI and it’s near impossible do to this at McDonalds. Yet, at Starbucks, Home Depot, Lowes, I can sit two hundred feet away and big up service, but not five feet outside of a McDonalds. Honestly, the worst WIFI I have encountered anywhere is at McDonalds.(epic fail)

One of the best MCD ever. I usually only use the drive thru. I have eaten inside, its clean and spacious with a modern décor. Sodas/teas are clean and in good condition. Staff is always so nice. Convenient location, drive thru and parking. I have not had any issues with special orders(no pickles) or temperature issues.

When you need a quick fix and looking for a Big Mac or chicken nuggets, this is the place to go. I like the crispy honey mustard chicken wraps. This store is in a convenient location and is newly built so everything still looks clean. Convenient drive through also.

Terrible mcdonalds. Cashier was nice, see attached. My mcchicken looks terrible and it was prepared this way. Management needs to get ahold of the staff, it was like 9:30. What a joke.

I really like this McD’s. my order hasn’t ever been wrong, and the staff is ALWAYS super nice/helpful to me. The décor is more modern than others IMO and did I mention the great staff? This has some human character too. I don’t need my food out in 4 seconds by workers; I get my food out in a reasonable time by my fellow humans. I would recommend this McDonald’s over any of the others in the conejo valley.

Not a huge fan of McDonalds but have been here a few times. Very nice location and clean, as a matter of fact probably one of the nicest McDonalds I have ever seen. Decent food and decent prices, no in n out but what can you expect.

I like McDonalds but this restaurant often messes up my orders. The tables are often dirty. This time I got cold and dry NcNuggets, the fries were over-cooked and cold.
